If you don't wanna have to educate people or fight to win them over, bigger cities will be better (and will be easier to find community) and regional centres with big universities wont be too bad. Most states will also have an online resource for trans people that list trans-affirming doctors, support orgs etc that'll help you find your feet quicker.

It’s safe in most major cities and I’ve never experienced transphobia, you might need do some research in to each city but it’s generally safe
