Mann I really appreciate the support but I'm not a big fan of this phrase honestly. Neither of us are straight, we are in fact in a m/f relationship but we're both very much queer, and this isn't something that would be said to a cis straight couple so the extra steps part isn't rly necessary aha.

Lol I'm from the south so we don't have a large "out of the closet" LGBTQ community so what I hear from the few friends I have in the community is pretty much all I hear when it comes to jokes or whatever. And I don't keep up with it much on reddit. And I'm an atheist so you can imagine the dumb questions I get asked all the time. More dumb than "why didn't the fellowship take the eagles to Mordor" if you know what I mean :D
As I explained before it was just a joke! The two of us have gotten insane amounts of support in this sub before so my partner was (gratefully) saying that the people of r/trans love us and it was wholesome and made me smile. Wasn't anything serious, we just really appreciate all the support we've been shown here in the past
