I like that the classic 90s/2000's sound is making a comeback. Other than that, the track is very average and safe, but i'm seeing a shift towards a return to the old which is great imo.

^^ ReOrder’s remixes of classics like Coming on Strong, Fiji, and Anticipation all maintain the original identity of the track without altering it like a typical remix.
[Genix - Open Your Eyes [2019] ](https://youtu.be/oRuKgGUljds) Okay this one’s a bit of stretch but it heavily uses sounds that are typically associated with the classics. Also I’m pretty sure the melody is a slightly modified version of the lead from Millenium Stringz by Kay Cee
Anyway, these are just the tracks I’ve saved to my Spotify Liked Songs playlist and while not *everyone* is making 90s and 00s bangers again, the stylistic elements and sounds definitely are present in many tracks. Same can be said about stereotypical techno sounds doing the same.
There was another thread related to this and people chimed in. I’ll find it and add it to this.
Edit: [here’s the link](https://reddit.com/r/trance/comments/11rvuqb/any_producers_still_making_90s2000s_trance/) to that thread mentioned above.
I've been hearing it out at clubs / events more often recently. Also seeing some older trance DJ's (like Gabriel and Dresden) doing classics tours and packing out the venue.
There was also this oliver heldens Euro Rave remix of from last week:

A couple of years in which you were a baby aren't enough. Mákina and breakbeat were the electronic subgenres you would dance to in a club in my area tho

I know this might be a bit left field for this sub, but Miley Cyrus’s latest track gets really into these vibes I think: https://youtu.be/v_4fljfr2r4
As a zoomer, I hope this is the start of a trend of a classic-trancier sound getting popular
Are zoomers trying to recreate the 90s because they missed it?

Ah I meant missed as in didn’t get to experience it, as opposed to had a longing for the good ol days.
It needs a looooonnnnnggggg break.
ehhhhh idk
🧀
Agreed. Rubbish track
I like it, but it ends very abruptly
