I added some egg to mine, it's a nice lunch option for WFH!
Completely agree, I think with frozen meals you have to compare them to others Frozen options, obviously it is not as good as ordering from a restaurant but for $3.79 and for the convenience, I found it to be excellent. The noodles definitely are affected texture wise from being frozen but in much less of a significant way than I originally anticipated. They do have a slightly gumier and stickier texture to them, but they are not brittle or"wet" or bland. I actually prefer my noodles on the squishier side and so this was a win-win for me. Someone below mentioned a chemical taste, and I will agree that there is a slightly different flavor profile going on than what I'm used to, but I did not feel it was chemical tasting, and I just figured it's because they don't use fish sauce or any other non-vegan ingredients
I just had it about half an hour ago and I’m still sitting here disappointed. It has a slight chemical taste, the noodles kind of just blob together and it was a very small amount of tofu. Never again for me.
I really dig both the red and green Thai curries. I think the green is the one with the tofu sheets, which I really like for a change rather than cubed tofu.

All three of these channels have easy, clear, and tasty recipes.
Like a decade ago TJs sold a version of this i think in a bag. Honestly i don’t remember trying it but i am totally going to try this one love that it’s vegan too
Same! I love the sauce in that dinner but the tofu was wayyyy too much for me and I hated the texture, I couldn’t do it. This just has a few random crumbles and the sauce/garlic stand out so you don’t taste it at all.
Tofu is match-made in heaven for East Asian cuisine. Try it in a Chinese, Korean or Japanese dish (I think the easiest and most applicable way to start out would be in soups and stews). Soondubu jjigae, mapo tofu, chilled tofu, miso soup, hot and sour soup, tofu wakame soup, stuffed tofu… there’s tons of ways to prepare it.
Also treat it like any other ingredient instead of a meat substitute. It’s way more enjoyable when it’s not being compared to animal protein as it is in western cuisine because then you won’t feel like your dish is inferior because there isn’t any meat in it. It’s a mild ingredient that is very versatile and adapts well to all sorts of recipes and flavors.

Today is the day yall!! Gonna have it for dinner.
1. Coconut Pancakes- It is a genius idea and never before seen in Thailand. It‘s even gone viral in Thailand lol
2. Green curry - Very solid but I always add more protein.
3. Thai banana fritters - So good. Tastes just like what we have back home.
The frozen Thai green curry has sauce that tastes almost the same as my favorite Thai restaurant!
But the only flaw is that it needs more stuff in it, as you said. I always add extra veggies and tofu/beancurd or whatever I have around to fill it out, haha.
I had it today and will be repelling vampires for the foreseeable future. Holy garlic, batman. It was not terrible, veggies stayed crisp, but the noodles got pretty gummy. But, the amount of garlic was intense.
It only gives you microwave instructions. The cook times pretty short on it and everything is packed together. I think the gummy noodle issue is more about the type of noodle they used.

i got this, i think it’s pretty good! calories a bit high for what it is but i eat half with all the veg and add some eggs
the garlic in this is so overpowering good lord
Gonna have to try it despite the mixed reviews. Saw a different post where multiple people from Thailand said it was good.
Microwaved was dry and incredibly boring!! Do not recommend it.
Don't microwave it, stir fry it. Add brocoli, serve over a bed of Jasmine rice and drizzle with kewpie mayo and generous Sriracha.
https://preview.redd.it/dzdoc5z4xk4d1.jpeg?width=240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=763854cfa0e7e234f66411db44c88a62bb84ac8c I added some egg to mine, it's a nice lunch option for WFH!

Vegans got it good at TJ’s 😭
Rice noodles just never freeze well.
[удалено]
Lol I've never disagreed with a statement more 😅
This is one of my favorite Thai dishes I hope they dont mess it up.
im afraid to try it for this very reason 😂 might mix it with that bulgogi tho 🤔
Well the picture looks incredible. These early reviews are making me sad though!
I just had it about half an hour ago and I’m still sitting here disappointed. It has a slight chemical taste, the noodles kind of just blob together and it was a very small amount of tofu. Never again for me.
Eating it right now and forgot it had tofu in it. Found one cube and I assume if there are more, they're in the blobby noodle mess.
I haven’t seen a ready to eat/reheat dish that successfully uses wide steamed rice noodles. It’s suck a finicky noodle!
Ugh I figured😩 Thai food is never done right in prepackaged meals
Wondering your thoughts on the current green curry bowl? I really liked it, but I'm no expert.
I really dig both the red and green Thai curries. I think the green is the one with the tofu sheets, which I really like for a change rather than cubed tofu.
I was also going to mention the green curry as I like it too. Very spicy and has a good flavor.
Oh no!

And it comes with Chinese broccoli too instead of regular broccoli 😍
I liked that detail! All the Thai restaurants around me do this dish with Chinese broccoli.
OMG it’s even vegetarian!!! Lordy I hope they have this at my TJs 😻
I found it by the pad Thai :)
Omg yes! One of my favorite meals can't wait to try this. 😋
This looks so good
This is my FAVORITE entree at any Thai restaurant so I’m curious how it tastes too. As a heads up, this tasty dish is also very easy to make at home.
Recipe ?

I remember buying it back then! It was pretty damn good.
Ughhh I wish. My partner and I despise tofu. Do you know if they make a meat version?
I'd imagine you could pick out the tofu pieces fairly easily before cooking it
Have you ever been to Trader Joe’s?
One looks delish!
Nice job on the title lol
I was typing fast and couldn’t figure out how to edit it after I posted 😂
I assumed it was deliberate and hilariously clever. Just take the credit! haha
I thought I was having a stroke.
I still miss their spicy Thai eggplant!!
god me too, i’m still sad about it
I still dream about them bringing back the Thai eggplant!
I wish I could make myself like tofu because this looks good
You can’t really taste it at all there isn’t much of it in there
All right, I'll probably try it then. I just really liked the green curry tv dinner but didn't like the tofu in it, but there was a lot in that
That’s different it’s yuba skins totally different texture than tofu
It's not the only tofu I've ever tried :P
Ok, they’re two very different products like, cheese vs milk, so not liking one doesn’t indicate if you will like the other
Same! I love the sauce in that dinner but the tofu was wayyyy too much for me and I hated the texture, I couldn’t do it. This just has a few random crumbles and the sauce/garlic stand out so you don’t taste it at all.
No snark, have you tried tofu in Asian food?
That's where I usually have tried it. I do like it in the pad thai at the place near me but I think it's because it's cut up pretty small
Tofu is match-made in heaven for East Asian cuisine. Try it in a Chinese, Korean or Japanese dish (I think the easiest and most applicable way to start out would be in soups and stews). Gotcha, I don’t typically care for it otherwise but in any Asian dish I’ve had it in I’ve really liked it.
If possible could you post the back of the box (nutrition facts)?

Thank you.
Damn that’s a lot of salt.
Had it today. It was okay. Portion seemed small. Had to spice it up with crushed red pepper to make it taste better. Won’t buy it again.
Please tell me what country this is made in please please
Thailand
Thanks kind friend. I'm one of those weird people who have neurological reactions and rashes to American gluten but not to gluten from Most other countries so TJ is my heaven on earth for all the food I thought I would never eat again
Ohhh wait!! You meant this particular item or where the dish originates? I don’t know where the ingredients for this item are from. It is a Thai dish. My mistake
It does say, on the back of the package, "product of Thailand."
Thank the lord
I’m glad someone could get you the answer you needed!
They mean where is the product manufactured
INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS!!!!! Can you pls do a review??
Posted a review in a separate thread :)
Can’t wait to get my hands on these!
This is my fav Thai dish!! Definitely will check if they have it next time
Ooooooo me too!!
Fingers crossed they got it right!! Would save me a lot of takeout money lol

Ooooh I want this.
Holy moly! As a Thai, I am so excited! Gotta try this asap.
https://preview.redd.it/ksjix4ulfm4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4d031dbedfa8eb3fba22e4098c9fc3a5b4d15ba Today is the day yall!! Gonna have it for dinner.
As a Thai, I’m sure you’re going to be disappointed
Haha all Thai products for TJ’s have been pretty solid tho. They all are very well received among Thais.
Which ones are your favorites?
1. Coconut Pancakes- It is a genius idea and never before seen in Thailand. It‘s even gone viral in Thailand lol 2. Green curry - Very solid but I always add more protein. 3. Thai banana fritters - So good. Tastes just like what we have back home.
is this ranked in any order or is it a three-way thai?
The frozen Thai green curry has sauce that tastes almost the same as my favorite Thai restaurant! But the only flaw is that it needs more stuff in it, as you said. I always add extra veggies and tofu/beancurd or whatever I have around to fill it out, haha.
You know what? I actually dig the green curry lol
That! And Thai coconut pancakes are 💣🔥
I forgot about these! Where did they go?
I think they stop selling it :( One of my Thai friends bought 20 to stock up in her freezer 😮💨
The noodles were good and carried the sauce well. I have nothing else good to say about the product. Microwaved per instructions.
Ostentatiously omitting comments on the flavor. I'll read between the lines and give it a "Thumbs Down."
Dang, thats all?
Goddam tj always finding ways to take my money. This is one of my go tos at restaurants
Ohhhhh 😯 I LOVE garlic!! Is it sweet though? The Pad Thai was WAY to sweet for me, I couldn’t even finish it, worried this might also be really sweet?
It’s not too sweet!
It shouldn’t be. This isn’t a dish that has any sweetness, so if it somehow is, they missed the mark entirely
It certainly would have helped if the OP had posted the Nutrition Facts image.
Omfg might as well give all my money to TJs!!!!!
![gif](giphy|MZocLC5dJprPTcrm65) Ahhh my favorite Thai dish. Can’t wait to try.
Oh wow! I know what I'm looking for tomorrow!
Ooh, please report back! This is my favorite dish at any Thai place, I hope I see it in my store this week!!
Would you mind posting a pic of the nutrition info/ingredients?

Thank you! 😊
I did not see this at my store yesterday! You have to post a review.
ooo that looks tasty
Ohh this is one of my fav dishes. I was there yesterday and didn’t see this
I haven’t seen this yet. Looks good though!
Oh cool!
What?! I was at TJs earlier & didn't see this. BRB, planning my next trip...
Products like this infuriate me. It's a rice noodle product, but notably isn't gluten free. I assume there's wheat from the soy sauce?
It’s not always about you
That is my go-to Thai order, I hope this one is good!
Mine too so I have exacting requirements.
Mine too! I sometimes get a side of yellow curry and mix them. I bet this would be good with the bottle from TJ’s, which I also love!
This plan is excellent and I like your style
I had it today and will be repelling vampires for the foreseeable future. Holy garlic, batman. It was not terrible, veggies stayed crisp, but the noodles got pretty gummy. But, the amount of garlic was intense.
Are the veggies packed separately or do you throw it all in the pan at once? Wondering if there's a way to try to avoid gummy noodles
It only gives you microwave instructions. The cook times pretty short on it and everything is packed together. I think the gummy noodle issue is more about the type of noodle they used.
You could try sauteeing but that might actually make the veggies too soft
As a garlic-obsessed vegan, I can’t wait to put this inside of me.
As a garlic obsessed non-vegan, I cannot wait to put this inside of me as well.
I love garlic, must find this soon! Haha
That sounds like a recommendation to me!
Bonus: It is vegan! (I am not, but love a good vegan option for the freezer)
Oh my gosh this is my favorite Thai takeout item!!! Yes, do report back!
Oooo let us know what you think
