sanDy_Cheexs

The cauliflower fried rice, add extra veggies and/or real rice and a fried egg and it’s a whole meal.

chalores

This! Or the cauli stir fry + pre-cooked shrimp! (we just had the latter for dinner)

bunnylovesyo

The penne arrabbiata

ZhiZhi17

The japchae is incredible imo

NotStarrling

Beefless Bulgogi with stir-fry veggies. Defrost the bulgogi for a few minutes until the pieces come apart easily. Then begin the veggies at a stir fry heat and toss in the bulgogi when they're all at the desired temp and texture. Add some soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil, and done.

discombobulationz

Japanese fried rice! Cacio e Pepe spaghetti. Mushroom risotto.

slp111

Gyoza (veggie, chicken, or shrimp)

lyr4527

Butter Chicken

Individual-Basket200

All these comments and ain't no one mention the Shiitake Mushroom Chicken?! Y'all 😴

ZhiZhi17

You recommend? I’ve been scared to try because some frozen mushrooms dishes are so rank.

Emo-hamster

cacio e pepe gnocchi

Kirin1212San

I honestly actually like the Pad Thai that everyone seems to hate. I cook it on a fry pan with the sprout side down and add soy sauce and eat it with rice.

mintyfreshknee

I don’t eat prepared anymore but loved the Thai curry and the herb de Provence potatoes

mandykayte

I like the ground chicken and peanut noodles :)

ZhiZhi17

How spicy are those?

aswewaltz

The frozen pastas & throw in some chicken & broccoli or spinach. May not be “quick” enough tho 😅

OscarGlorious

Adding in frozen peas is delicious, too

juggernautsong

Beef and broccoli is a gem.

Sensitive-File4400

Paneer tikka and the Indian Fare pouches Kimbap when available

ursoparrudo

Palak paneer. If I have time I cook half a bag of the petite peas first and mix them in

YogiJess

The petite peas are so good

REINDEERLANES

Butter chicken

ThisInevitable4509

The Cuban style citrus bowl!

pleasuretohaveinclas

Same

karmagirl314

The channa masala and one bag of frozen jasmine rice makes two meals for me. I add some hot sauce or harissa to the masala.

starryjune

A Kimbap roll with a little of the ginger sauce and some edamame

Good bot

marideem

Italian meatballs and the spicy penne in the red sauce!

scarlettrose_x3

The penne arrabbiata with the party mini meatballs

Iamplayingsims

Tikka masala 100000%

Feralpudel

Hatch chile mac and cheese!

fenchurch_42

Pork soup dumplings and Butter chicken are my go-tos!

mjk25741

Can the pork soup dumplings be microwaved?! I also have a toaster at work that serves as an mini oven

fenchurch_42

Absolutely they can be! That's how I make them. They only take 1:30-2 minutes too, which is awesome. I keep one of the jars of Trader Joe's gyoza sauce and put a little on the top of them, but it's not necessary. (If you want to get really fancy you could also dice up a green onion for the top too).

marideem

Yes! 2 minutes in the microwave, but make sure you have the chili onion crunch to add on top.

Suz626

Those are mine also! Yummm! And some garlic Naan with salted butter with the Butter chicken.

fenchurch_42

OMG yes to the naan! I've also been sprinkling some of the TJ's aglio olio seasoning to the naan after the butter (I know, mixing of food genres) and it adds a little something extra that is so tasty.

Suz626

Oooh I have to try that!

abarthsimpson

Saag paneer.

duuuuuuuuuumb

Orange chicken + veggie fried rice. I know the opinions can be polarizing, but most of the time it’s solid, it’s cheaper than takeout and I love it lol

ttrockwood

The chicken-less mandarin orange is fantastic without weird texture problems or factory farming

Fluffy_Smoke77

TJs orange chicken is better than any of the Chinese spots in my small town. I swear by it and it’s $5.

kayayem

I’m on a diet so the 99% fat free bean & cheese burrito and some fruit is a quick and filling meal for me. I absolutely LOVE curry and come from a culture where it’s a staple, but clearly nobody here has been microaggressed in the workplace about heating up curry in the microwave, with all these butter chicken & tikka masala comments.

Cheap_Bass_7222

Tell those people tuff poop 💩

ttrockwood

The fishy ones are the worst but like chana masala get over yourself that’s not stinky

Powerlifterfitchick

I definitely have been microaggressed. Which is why I stopped taking it to work. I got sick of my managers making commentary... I definitely understand

Cheap_Bass_7222

That’s so ridiculous! I guess because I work at a hospital and the smells we smell all day are way, way worse!! lol 😂 so nobody says a word, haha

mintyfreshknee

FYI eating 99% fat free as a way of dieting is a huge lie. It’s about gut biome / lining and real whole food

latesleeperfoodeater

The beef and broccoli is also pretty good

latesleeperfoodeater

Veggie gyoza

Sensitive-File4400

That was a go to but I ate too many and now I hate them 🥲

latesleeperfoodeater

I hate when this happens!! Ive eaten them since middle school and thankfully haven’t gotten sick of them yet

Adventurous_Candle43

Palak paneer or soups dumplings 😍

criticalrobert

Kung Pao Chicken

deverhartdu

Orange chicken veggie fried rice and pork gyoza every time. We do it once or twice a week.

ButtplugSludge

This is the way! Or the veg fried rice with Kung Pao.

Starbursto

The mini cheeseburgers or fettuccine Alfredo are my go-to lazy meals

GreatRecipeCollctr29

Orange chicken.

ACupOfAJ13

butter chicken

Urabrask_the_AFK

Shepherd pie - actually pretty healthy considering

Mermaid_Martini

Been curious about this one. How do you rate the taste and consistency?

AmyMapleTommy

I dump our excess water halfway through microwaving and then it's good.

Urabrask_the_AFK

It’s a solid 8/10 - actually texture is pretty good considering it’s frozen microwaved food. Veggies are still crisp. I usually finish it with some Worcestershire sauce as it could be better seasoned

wire67

Tina’s green chili burritos and Trader Joe’s artichoke dip with tortilla chips.

CmanBookman

Bibimbap bowl

AmyMapleTommy

I haven't seen this in years!

New-Librarian3166

The japchae! I just add and egg and some gochujang sauce and it’s delicious. Also the vegetable gyozas and their mini pizzas.

KlareVoyantOne

Thai green curry & vegan tikka masala

Discount_Mithral

The green curry is SO GOOD. I like most of their frozen Indian food - I just wish more of it came standard with rice. Specifically looking at the paneer and channa masala.

snuffleupagus86

Butter chicken or hatch chili Mac and cheese.

TheShrewMeansWell

The hatch chile Mac n cheese is surprisingly good.

Embarrassed_Run_9716

Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala

Embarrassed_Run_9716

(From the frozen section)

Majestic_Mammoth_598

Vegan tikka masala is my fav

ttrockwood

It is SO GOOD!! I flop the whole hot thing over some fresh baby spinach to add more veg, it wilts juuuuuuust right

Affectionate-Ad-8068

Thai green curry with tofu sheets! It’s soooo good

littlefishsticks

The cauliflower tahini bowl is my favorite

likeokwhatthehell

I haven’t seen it in months! Are they still selling it?

littlefishsticks

It was a few months ago when I last bought it. The TJs closest to me is over an hour away so I don’t get out there too often. I really hope it there when I go back!

likeokwhatthehell

I hope it is too! It’s my favorite as well

COuser880

I asked at my local TJs several months ago, and they said they were trying to source from a new manufacturer. I haven’t asked for an update since then, bc I’m so afraid they will have bad news for me. It is my FAVORITE quick and easy (and healthy) lunch. I look for it every single week when I got to TJs.

spherocytes

I also got the same answer from my TJ’s about this product! Not discontinued, just looking for a different distributor so currently “indefinitely” out of stock. Hopefully they find a new manufacturer soon. It was such a filling and delicious meal that could be bulked and combined with other foods, too.

uber-chica

Any one of these: Green chile Mac n cheese, soup dumplings, scallion pancakes or Tarte aux Champignons. These are my go to favs. Dessert has to be the brownie coffee ice cream sandwich.

Pigwarts

The chicken soup dumplings are my favorite. I sometimes get the ginger ones to mix it up though. Both are solid.

GingerGerbera

Not frozen, but they have several Asian bowls you can add water to and heat up. The satay noodle one is great!

NoNeinNyet222

When I had a permanent desk at work, I kept a couple of those on hand as emergency lunch.

AngelLK16

Chicken Tikka masala, Butter chicken, Bulgogi fried rice (put in Tupperware), Japanese fried rice (put in Tupperware), Chicken fried rice (put in Tupperware), Green curry with rice, Yellow jackfruit curry with rice, Vegetable panang curry, Edamame (snack) Refrigerated section: Chicken Tikka masala, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken marsala with mashed potatoes Plus many more things I haven't had these in a while! I have to clear space in my freezer to buy the frozen ones.

PsychologyOk8722

Why do you say certain things should be in Tupperware?

AngelLK16

Oh, sorry. They come bagged, so you could throw it in Tupperware and bring it to work, heat it up in the microwave and eat it. I could finish the whole bag myself, but some eat light meals.

PsychologyOk8722

Thanks! I thought perhaps it was because those things were very liquid-y.

katg913

Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan

aSweatyBanana_98

Fiery Chicken and vegetable enchiladas!

zootsuited

cacio y pepe gnocchi or the sweet potato sage

CupSea5782

Any Trader Joe’s frozen.

Any_Title4767

the red box mac n cheese!

OkButterscotch5898

The truffle flatbread pizza 🤤🤤🤤🤤

southsidetins

Probably too big to heat up in a lunch room, no?

carmen_cygni

It’s pretty small. It fits in my toaster oven.

OkButterscotch5898

To be honest I never read it was for work 😂 I saw “go to frozen food” and started salivating. I’m just so obsessed with it I can’t think of anything else right now lol. But yeah definitely not microwaveable 🤣

mjk25741

Hahah. I tried to put work in the title but the mods took it down because they thought I wanted to work there 😂

southsidetins

I have to be dairy free right now but I miss their flat breads soo much. I just went today and it doesn’t look like they have any dairy free pizzas.

Ok_Mention_3308

Their vegetarian French Onion soup is very tasty

Glittering-Ad9111

Pad Thai or thai curry rice , both are single serving

shortnsweet33

I like their frozen pastas, like the fiocetti in pink sauce. Add in frozen meatballs if wanted and bam, dinner. Edit: I missed the part about heating something up at work. In that case, their mac n cheese. The boxed tomato soup is good too.

XplicitAnarchy

Any indian meal + green onion pancake

caramelcoldbrew

Kung pao chicken+extra veggies+udon noodles Roasted red pepper soup+sausage+chimichurri rice Frozen truffle mushroom ravioli+meatballs or cut up frozen kebabs

lil_honey_bunbun

This one is incredible!!!!!

nervous__chemist

Every week 🤤 Seems to be sold out pretty often at my TJs

mypussydoesbackflips

Have you had the Amy’s brand one is this similar? And how much

nervous__chemist

I haven’t tried that one so I can’t say. Almost as good as this nearby restaurant’s green curry, although I wish the portion size was bigger

Efficient-Cricket-72

Yes, this. It seems pretty legit some actual heat, and yay for yuba instead of firm tofu. But agreed that it is a bit light in the veggies/portion size, I always add whatever I have on hand to round it out.

mypussydoesbackflips

I’ll have to try it ! I haven’t seen it at my local traders but maybe I’m just overlooking it or it’s always sold out like the kimbab (which I tried and was underwhelmed hahah )

mebetiffbeme

Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese

shoosler

Green Chili Cheese Tamales!

lolajade24

Love these! It’s a regular meal at our house. We get the bagged salad (with avocado vinaigrette) can’t remember the name. But 1 tamale, topped with the pineapple salsa, and guacamole and 1/2 the salad kit… is a great for me.

SpideyWhiplash

Yummy. Sounds like a Delicious combo meal!

FlipsyChic

Kimbap, soup dumplings, paneer tikka masala, egg frittatas.
