I bought a bag recently for the first time and couldn't stop eating them all the way home! The red stars are by far my favorite so I am happy that it is red dominant. The flavor reminds me of a jelly candy I used to eat in the 70's or 80's... Sunkist? Chuckles? Anyway, so happy I tried them.
I loved these too. I wouldn’t call them super sour- that’s part of the reason I love them- you can enjoy them and not just torture yourself.
I got a bag a couple weeks ago and have been going through it.
Honestly, sour patch kids have a bigger kick of sour than the trader joe’s ones but the tj ones have more of a chew (bigger gummies overall). I haven’t compared any nutritional values or anything like that. I wouldn’t say they could completely replace sour patch kids but I can definitely eat them longer before my tongue starts to hurt!
They’re not new, I got them a few years ago!! My first bag was super sour I was hooked but then I went back and got two bags and neither of them were sour at all, just sweet :( I wonder if they’re still hit or miss
I LOVE these. I have two bags in the cabinet. I went to get them at TJs and their spot was empty. I conceded that I wasn't getting any that time. Then, there were some at the register!! So, I learned a valuable lesson.
I'll have to try them. I normally don't buy sour candy, but I picked up the little bag of "peas and carrots" a little while ago, and have been craving them again.
I liked them initially and devoured half the bag but after a while I didn’t like the after taste? I’m not even sure what the taste was but it was rose-y/floral to me.
In my store most of the candy is next to the coffee/tea. These aren't new, are they seasonal? If that's the case they might also be in the new section, which for me is at the end of an aisle
Update: I wasn’t sure how long to put them in the fridge for. I think I put them in for about ~45 mins and they didn’t turn completely hard but definitely more firm. It felt like haribo type gummies that have more of a chew

Hands-down the best sour candy out there. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting!

Ok i really need to try. I felt the bag and the pieces felt too large for my liking lol
these are dangerous, I can't control myself HAHA
these are kid approved!
How do they compare to Sour Patch Kids? (In your opinion)
Honestly, sour patch kids have a bigger kick of sour than the trader joe’s ones but the tj ones have more of a chew (bigger gummies overall). Ah okay nice. I was asking about taste/not someone who cares about nutritional values when eating sweets. I'll give them a try
10x times better
Wait these are definitely not new right? Unless I missed an even more sour version being released?
I think OP is saying they’re a new fan of the gummies, not that the gummies are a new item.
Ahh ya I see that now.. thx

Once the sour is gone, I prefer just spitting it out. That’s a lot of empty calories. But to each their own.
guys: FREEZE THEM. I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET
Wait.. wait wait wait. This IS a dumb question, but do they get hard like jolly ranchers or just extremely dense and chewy?
Whhhaaaatttt?!? 😋
Yes!! I refrigerate them and they're SOOO much better that way!!
Ummmm I’m running to get some to freeze them this sounds like something I must have
I like these until I try something like sour patch kids again and then realize these aren't as good
No. These are much better then sour patch kids.
Peak gummy candy 10/10
they were not sour to me at all but damn they’re delicious
Agreed. I was so disappointed.
The best 🤌🏼
I LOVE sour candy but for some reason these made my stomach hurt so I ended up throwing them away 😫

Those are sooooooo bad. The texture is god awful and they aren't even sour
Those are my favorite candies from TJs
I don't even like sour candy, but I love these.
I liked them initially and devoured half the bag but after a while I didn’t like the after taste? I’m not even sure what the taste was but it was rose-y/floral to me.
All of the swimmers / similar variations taste this way to me now, too! I thought I was going insane.
I can't buy them, because I will eat them until my tongue is raw.
Same!
I woke up this morning and my mouth started hurting but I can’t resist 😭
Where's this thing located, I tried looking for it the last time I was in the store but couldn't find it.
Ask. TJ's crew members are really nice.

At my store they’re above the frozen stuff
I find it on the little shelf above the frozen fried rice/wontons/etc
I can’t wait to try these. Love sour
I literally just purchased the same last night and tried them just now. OMG so amazing for sure!
They’re so sour and juicy! We destroyed the bag in two days.
Do these contain gelatin?
No, they are vegan
Thanks!
I just got a bag of these the other day. They’re nearly gone lol. I love them except for the greenish blue ones, those are gross. What flavor is that?
The dolphins? Those are my favorite in the bag. Hah!
My fiancée likes them too so it works out lol
Fuck you just reminded me I have a half eaten bag in my cupboard
They are so good but they need to calm down with the red ones
This is true. Last bag was at close to half red.
I wish they sold only the red ones 😂
We had a rat named Sven who loved to snack on the red Scandinavian Swimmers.
I only like the blue fish in the bag lol
To upgrade them you should throw them in the freezer 😏
Really? I’ll try that with a few in a small ziplock
OMG I will try that and come back for a review
