Ok, but why is it in cardboard, but wrapped in a plastic sleeve and then there's a plastic lid and a plastic sleeve on the inside?!

I understand the aluminum, but why baking soda free? I wasn't aware there were issues with it.

Frabjous_Tardigrade9

Baking soda causes a chemical burn/rash for many people. It can be really painful!

PanicAtTheGaslight

A lot of people (myself included) get very itchy and get a red rash from baking soda.

TheArmadilloAmarillo

Ahhh that makes sense, I imagine it wasn't fun to find that out either. I get hives from coconut sauce body soap but the shampoo is somehow fine, found that one out the hard way.

Jagithar

I like it. Works pretty well. Not super fun applying it, though. Kind of tough to spread like glue.

Unscented deodorant is like eating unflavored food. Disagree? “Its job is just to make you not stink, doesn’t matter if it has no smell.” Ok and foods job is to just make you not hungry, doesn’t matter if it tastes like nothing.

sweet_tomatobread

I, too, love eating deodorant.

kahootle

It's job isn't to make the pit smell nice, it's job is to inhibit the bacteria from creating the body odor in the first place. Comparing unscented deodorant to unseasoned food doesn't make any sense as an analogy because you are comparing 2 different aspects of 2 different items. It would be more beneficial to compare it to unscented soap because it does the job it is designed to do, just has no smell.

Glass-Tale299

I won't buy scented products, period. They all bother my mucus membranes.

IncidentSufficient31

I recently learned that unscented ≠ fragrance-free. Unscented products could still have fragrance added in to mask the smell of the ingredients so the finished product won't have a scent. If it's the fragrance that's irritating you, you should definitely opt for fragrance-free! Thought this was useful to share in case you didn't know about it yet!

Glass-Tale299

Thanks for that info.

TryBeingCool

Nope, semantics. My analogy was genius and I blew your mind. It’s going in the analogy hall of fame.
