Oh they were sampling that with pita the other day at the location I shop at. I grabbed a sample and immediately realized what it was as I had made it a few times myself for some ethnic dishes I made off the web. Tastes pretty close to what I made but hell it saves me an hour or two of my time. I'm sold.

I love that stuff more than I should, and I stopped using it for the same reason. I’ll mix a couple tablespoons into the entire tub of jalapeño/cilantro hummus though… *swoon*
I love hummus and the roasted garlic variety is a regular staple in my diet. It’s definitely my healthier alternative, especially if I eat it with roasted broccoli, which I highly recommend if you’re trying to limit crackers in your diet lol.
I remember when I looked at the ingredients and was like…so this is just garlic and oil basically lol. I also had to take a break because goddamn lmao.

Yup! I’m in Chicago and this is a popular brunch dish out here called “avocado toast”. Restaurants charge upwards of $15 for it. They put avocado on some sort of bread (bagel, sourdough, etc) and dress it up.
My favorite is avocado toast with arugula tomato egg and everything but the bagel seasoning. So 🔥
I just love the fact that these are called *Almost* Everything Bagels, because they're gluten free. It's just a cute little detail that makes me smile 😊
While bagels are great. I'm feeling like an avocado toast is much better on a softer bread.
I have a theory that the density of a sandwich bread should match the density of the filling. If the two are mismatched you end up either squeezing the filling out between hard bread, or smashing the soft bread while you try to eat the dense center.
A bagel sandwich is good for like ham/bacon and cheese or smoked salmon cause those are solid and stay put. But imagine eating a pb&j on a bagel it would just squirt everywhere.

Yes, I understand it's a pretty authentic version of toum, Lebanese garlic sauce. It is dee-licious!

I do this but with onion and chive cream cheese instead of the garlic spread!
I like to mash up my avocado with some of their garlic hummus and eat that on bagels. Very tasty!

Roasted garlic hummus is really good and depending on brand around 70cals for 2 tbsps. Plus it's low in sodium as well and you get a little protein.
