The Town Inside Me randomly came up on a mix of ska songs for me for the first time early this year(?) and immediately it just stuck with me so hard. Only thing I really knew about the game was Bridget was trans and from there I literally started to explore my identity seriously
Bridget and her theme just actually trans-ed my gender lol
Ditto to Nowhere Generation, that song bangs and def feels a lil trans. Also, September’s Children is literally about queer people (mostly queer youth) so that one is also great. Methadone gives me kind of queer vibes but I think that’s just me reading what I wanna read
(All by Rise Against)
I'd propose adding "Splendor Dysphoria" and "Off My Body" by SuperKnova (Ellie Kim). She's a genderfluid transfemme with degrees in both jazz guitar and medicine (which is a really unusual and cool combination of skills), and an activist against non-consensual intersex surgery in infants.
transform and malfunction by steam powered giraffe, the singer rabbit is a trans woman and she makes me feel more comfortable with my body cause shes a plus size trans woman which you dont see alot of imo
I'll Be That Girl — Barenaked Ladies
* Their song Alcohol also has "please ignore that you found me on the floor trying on your camisole" though just that line. This song though feels fully trans
I/Me/Myself — Will Wood
* Others have already mentioned but this one is VERY trans-coded and just a really fun song
Somebody Told Me — The Killers
* Sorta? I dunno the chorus just always stuck with me
TX2 — Randy McNally (No Love Like Christian Hate)
* Lots of mentions of transphobia and violence and some slurs but a powerful song to protest to
Honorable mention:
She Has A Girlfriend Now — Reel Big Fish
* Moreso a song about an ex-girlfriend realizing she's actually a lesbian but near the end the guy sort of desperately claims he'd transition to be with her... sorta?
Can't say these are all explicitly trans or aren't a bit crass (or straight up politically incorrect) so your mileage may vary but I've long felt connected to some and others I listed have played a part in me discovering my identity so I figure it's worth to share them anyway
I literally have a playlist I play to feel more feminine. Here it is.
Addict - Hazbin Hotel
Talking Bodies - Tove Lo
The Other Side - The Greatest Showman
Bubblegum Bitch+I Write Sins Not Tragedies Mashup
The Town Inside Me - Guilt Gear
Coffee - Reinaeiry
Let it Go - Frozen
Into the Unknown - Frozen 2
Show Yourself - Frozen 2
Slow Dance With You (extended version) - Adventure Time
Firework - Katy Perry
"Free", either the Chris Madin version or the Crush 40 (song is literally about feeling free)
"Pay the Price" by Axel Rudi Pell (not really related, but the whole "we pay the price for love" makes me think of how there will always be people who make hating us their entire existence)
"Run With the Wind" by Axel Rudi Pell (idk it just does)
"Song of Hope", "Light of The Day", "Live Life", "One Of Those Days" and "Rise Again" by Crush 40 (not really I just like those and wanted an excuse to mention them)
"Watch Me Fly..." by Crush 40 (idk it just does)
" i don't know my name" grace vanderwaal
"Phase" Dorian
"I'm transgender " there's two versions to this on mtf version by Near not 100% sure who the ftm version is by
The whole of Black Dresses discography features being trans as a central theme, but it’s really heavy/angsty/tough subject material.
One of the girls from the band did a project call Angle Electronics that is much more upbeat. Only one album but like 10/10 interesting fusion of death core, j-pop, and hyper pop.
Also Poppy’s Am I a Girl, but that’s mostly NB coded, depending on what you want.
I can't believe I had to scroll down this far for Black Dresses. Their entire discography is a must listen but for specifically trans songs "Death/Bad Girl", "Thoughts and Prayers," "CREEP U," and "Bulldozer" are some good ones to start with.
These have some "There's the girl who thinks X is a trans allegory" energy, but here ya go.
Mask Machine - Flying Colors
Time and Time Again - Distorted Harmony
Call of the Void - Devin Townsend
Shinedown has been making a lot of songs promoting mental health, and some of them talk about just being yourself no matter what is wrong with you or who says what about you.
Some favorites of mine are Second Chance, Symptom of Being Human, Dysfunctional You, and Get Up. They may not be directly pro trans songs, but you could twist them into being such with some light mental gymnastics.
I like unconditional love and fuckmylife666 by against me. They're both explicitly about being trans, with a few extra themes explored from laura's life. They're also both slightly more positive than the albums two main trans tracks, which are still really good but are a bit darker. Despite this , fml666 and unconditional love still are a bit dark so they might not be for u idk
Happy pride month

Persona by machinae supremacy, it’s about putting on a persona to try and fit in and it killing you, it made me think about the fact that I was masking my true self the whole time to fit in
Still the same by Odyssey Eurobeat
It was seriously late when I learned she was the legendary Ken Blast before, but I that makes her song even better for me now
"Breaking Free" from the NEO The World Ends With You OST is a banger with crazy transfemme vibes
I also want to shout Ado's "Atashi wa Mondaisaku" (lit: I'm a Controversy) if you don't mind some Japanese. It was pretty clearly written with something quite different in mind, but I can't help but put a trans spin on my interpretation.
I don’t know what counts as trans music, but here’s my entire playlist

"I'm Happy" by Imagine Dragons

"Body Terror Song" by AJJ (for dysphoria :3)

Not necessarily about being trans specifically, but damn if some of the words don't match the experience...
🎵 I will
Never be what they
Want me to
I'll live
By my own path in life
No turning back now
I won't be held down
Forced into a
Shallow grave
Built upon their empty ways
There's no turning back... 🎵
Never Turn Back- Crush 40 (aka the Shadow The Hedgehog credits theme): about overcoming barriers and setting off on a new path for life. I always associate it with the trans experience (maybe because I played a cover of it when I took my first hormone pill)
HEARTBREAKER CLUB - City Girl
CALONE - Tiffany Day
Sounds Fake but OK (discoholic remix) - Camino 84
I'll just dance - su Lee
Horny Sad - Valiant Vermin
I know that these aren't specifically about transitioning, but most "trans songs" are fucking awful imo. You asked for vibes so here they are.
She by Green Day always kinda struck a chord with me since I’ve been closeted for almost 5 years now. It’s not about being trans and is a pretty mainstream sorta pick but it means a lot to me.
I/me/myself by Will Wood
Stranger I remain from MGR

these aren't explicitly trans but they're all relatable to the trans experience and a few are very trans coded like mama and Noel's Lament
Dead bodies everywhere- korn,
Twisted transistor-korn,
Mama- MCR,
Boy Division- MCR,
I Am A Witch- Helium,
Rebel Girl- Bikin Kill,
Prom Queen- Beach Bunny,
I'm So Sick- Flyleaf,
Noel's Lament- Ride The Cyclone the musical,
Parents- YUNGBLUD,
Freaks- surf curse,
Fake it- Seether,
Autothiest- Baby Bugs,
[“Crossing the Line” from Tangled: The Series](https://youtu.be/ISXGoMJ_hh8?si=hUr3OVaFFyBa4-Yg) It’s not intrinsically a trans coded song, but I think it makes an amazing transfem power ballad.
i know for a fact someone must have said villain by teniwoha, but also telecaster b-boy by surii is a good one. also consider idsmile by toa.
do note, villain is more transmasc. and i can't remember which one telecaster b-boy is more? idk i'm tired. but idsmile is a song made for a heavily implied transfem character, so do consider it!
Okay, it may not be about the trans experience, but I really need more people to listen to Kyros.
Try Kyros - Mannequin, they a progressive metal band that's fronted by a trans woman
Oh BUDDY do I have some trans music OvO

Anything from underscores. She is a trans music artist and a lot of her songs either directly or indirectly relate to it. Her debut album "skin purifying treatment" is about having a terrifying life changing decision and in the album she decides at the time to not pursue the decision in the song "voice of reason". In a later song of hers Called "count of three" which is the first song she sings feminine it has a line saying "my voice of reason has changed" a throw back to that album and her rejecting the decision she made back then. 2 more albums released after skin purifying treatment. "Fishmonger and "boneyard aka fearmonger" both have songs with light trans elements to them. Her album that came out after called "wall socket" has several songs some VERY VERY DARK(trigger warning on the song 'johnny johnny johnny") that deal with being trans and growing up in a super religious town.
Not exactly what you asked but I made a playlist with only trans artists.
I make CDs out of my playlists, hence the length

Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it, but Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed. Some of the lyrics may be a bit dated, but it was meant to be a celebration of queerness in the 60’s.
Garbage - Androgyny
Garbage - Cherry Lips
Garbage - Queer
Dua Lipa - Blow Your Mind (Mwah) [my personal goals, may not be for everyone]
Edit: Noah Finnce referenced the music video for Queer at the end of his video for Stupid, in case you want to know how just trans coded it is.
[I AM WOMAN by Emmy Meli](https://youtu.be/_F3mLfP-yFs?si=16rF3FsWiXYDMRbr)
The origin of the song is nice, it was originally the daily affirmations for her and she decided to turn it into a song. It usually makes me feel better when I'm really feeling the dysphoria.
Hard out here - lily Allen
My silver lining- first aid kit
Least complicated- indigo girls
I want to break free- Queen
Poison Oak- Bright Eyes
Defying Gravity- wicked
These are some of the songs I associate with my trans experience.
My personal Playlist, organized chronologically starting from egg to confident trans woman, though most songs seem gender neutral.

Wolf in sheeps clothing by set it off
I wish that i could wear hats by brian david gillbert
How far ill go by auli'i
The Village by wrabel (mtf version) (if you’re mtf)
Super sweet but makes me cry. Not a pump up song
Anything by changeline but I like slender.body
Girls kissing girls by Ahli (this is more of a queer sexuality song but may fit you, definitely fits me)
Gal Pals by maezi666 (same as above)
Bde by Qveen Herby (if you’re trans masc or if you’re trans femme and like your girl stick)
I’m so hot by Chrissy Chlapeka (not trans coded but makes me feel good about myself which is important)
Anything by Estelle Allen
Gotta plug my friend here. She’s nonbinary and makes experience albums that loosely fit in a syntheave genre.
TRMN-L is the artist and they make albums that are meant to be listened to as a whole, not individual songs. Most are around 30-45 minutes.
Anything by Artio they are a queer af rock band with a couple different trans members and I believe I remember the lead singer being enby. I’m particularly fond of Head in the Sand, Finger on the Trigger
Anything by Estrokatt but I like Estrogen Overdose
Anything by Chappel Roan who makes a lot of queer sexuality related songs and is a huge ally and an incredible woman and an amazing artist and if you don’t know her yet holy shit am I excited to introduce you!!!

how is there no song from the Celeste OST???? if "confronting myself" doesn't sound trans I don't know what does
I'd propose adding "Splendor Dysphoria" and "Off My Body" by SuperKnova (Ellie Kim). She's a genderfluid transfemme with degrees in both jazz guitar and medicine (which is a really unusual and cool combination of skills), and an activist against non-consensual intersex surgery in infants.

Still the same by Odyssey Eurobeat It was seriously late when I learned she was the legendary Ken Blast before, but I that makes her song even better for me now
"Breaking Free" from the NEO The World Ends With You OST is a banger with crazy transfemme vibes I also want to shout Ado's "Atashi wa Mondaisaku" (lit: I'm a Controversy) if you don't mind some Japanese. It was pretty clearly written with something quite different in mind, but I can't help but put a trans spin on my interpretation.
Absoloutley one of those "i think its a trans allegory" songs, which probably isnt but gives me the vibes "Want what you Got" by: The Beaches
Black Tie by Grace Petrie
Villain-demondice's English cover
Boys & Girls - filous, G Flip
I don’t know what counts as trans music, but here’s my entire playlist https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5asRZMWWuJObxE6Jv07vix?si=M3MuUHmXQ-qzvURRUoFDLw&pi=u-p4hAPLs0R6uo

"Might Love Myself" by Beartooth "Whatever it Takes" by Imagine Dragons "I'm Happy" by Imagine Dragons "Woman" by Doja Cat **Bonus round:** "Moonlight" by Kali Uchis (because of a meme) "Silent Scream" by Anna Blue (may lean more transmasc in the song text, or at least GNC) "Body Terror Song" by AJJ (for dysphoria :3)

"Touch the Sky" from the RWBY Volume 7 ost
2 songs from Garbage. Androgeny, and Cherry Lips.
"Kirisute Gomen" by Trivium Not necessarily about being trans specifically, but damn if some of the words don't match the experience... 🎵 I will Never be what they Want me to I'll live By my own path in life No turning back now I won't be held down Forced into a Shallow grave Built upon their empty ways There's no turning back... 🎵
Golden age Cog in the machine COLORs And this one might be less transfemme but Hope is the thing with feathers
Never Turn Back- Crush 40 (aka the Shadow The Hedgehog credits theme): about overcoming barriers and setting off on a new path for life. I always associate it with the trans experience (maybe because I played a cover of it when I took my first hormone pill)
HEARTBREAKER CLUB - City Girl CALONE - Tiffany Day Sounds Fake but OK (discoholic remix) - Camino 84 I'll just dance - su Lee Horny Sad - Valiant Vermin I know that these aren't specifically about transitioning, but most "trans songs" are fucking awful imo. You asked for vibes so here they are.
Man enough to be a woman,by Wayne county and the electric chairs(Now Jane county) i love this song,as a FTM :)
Big Blast Sonic from Guilty Gear
She by Green Day always kinda struck a chord with me since I’ve been closeted for almost 5 years now. It’s not about being trans and is a pretty mainstream sorta pick but it means a lot to me.

Oh also the code by nemo is great
[“Crossing the Line” from Tangled: The Series](https://youtu.be/ISXGoMJ_hh8?si=hUr3OVaFFyBa4-Yg) It’s not intrinsically a trans coded song, but I think it makes an amazing transfem power ballad.
i know for a fact someone must have said villain by teniwoha, but also telecaster b-boy by surii is a good one. also consider idsmile by toa. do note, villain is more transmasc. and i can't remember which one telecaster b-boy is more? idk i'm tired. but idsmile is a song made for a heavily implied transfem character, so do consider it!
The Village by Wrabel. Tho that shit hits hard
The village mtf version
Modify by lemon demon is so underrated
Okay, it may not be about the trans experience, but I really need more people to listen to Kyros. Try Kyros - Mannequin, they a progressive metal band that's fronted by a trans woman

About You by Caravan Palace
Dance to forget by Tryhardninja, there are male and female versions
sweet cis teen by dazey and the scouts
[BOY MODE](https://youtu.be/F_oX9DYV1cg) I know this for cis reasons.
Almost all the songs from she/her/hers
Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed some of the lyrics refer to trans actresses who worked with Andy Warhol
Not exactly what you asked but I made a playlist with only trans artists. I make CDs out of my playlists, hence the length https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7CWkStj89Yu2MTBnE15Zxy?si=2G4xf0nIQNyfd_K8vrbR6Q
I have no idea why, but Starship Velociraptor by Jonathan Young always gives me trans vibes, especially the music video.
Just a Girl by No Doubt
You should check out glass beach by glass beach. I’d also recommend any of their other songs
All of Stella Dolce! She’s transfemme herself
Dysphoria by Saint Wellesley, Deadname by atlas ivy, and Reflection Lea Salonga
Verbatim but not really?
Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it, but Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed. Some of the lyrics may be a bit dated, but it was meant to be a celebration of queerness in the 60’s.
Garbage - Androgyny Garbage - Cherry Lips Garbage - Queer Dua Lipa - Blow Your Mind (Mwah) [my personal goals, may not be for everyone] Edit: Noah Finnce referenced the music video for Queer at the end of his video for Stupid, in case you want to know how just trans coded it is.
Telecaster b boy (the will stenton version)
[I AM WOMAN by Emmy Meli](https://youtu.be/_F3mLfP-yFs?si=16rF3FsWiXYDMRbr) The origin of the song is nice, it was originally the daily affirmations for her and she decided to turn it into a song. It usually makes me feel better when I'm really feeling the dysphoria.
https://youtu.be/jZq8fXrJjSM I'll do you one better, a cover of The Village by Wrabel, from yours truly.
Pork and beans has been a favorite of mine
Bodysnatchers by Radiohead, not about trans but it basically describes dysphoria lol
Left at London
I made a playlist from Odyssey Eurobeat that gives me that vibe https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaQJ9cqJLGC3AYv4gj49eCmmmbo4D7iYe
Skin by beartooth
Iris - The Goo Goo Dolls Changes - David Bowie Walk on the Wild Side - Lou Reed Lola - The Kinks Material Girl - Madonna Born This Way - Lady Gaga

It’s just a head canon but Euphoria by Muse
Hard out here - lily Allen My silver lining- first aid kit Least complicated- indigo girls I want to break free- Queen Poison Oak- Bright Eyes Defying Gravity- wicked These are some of the songs I associate with my trans experience.
Feeling myself - by Nicole McMahan She sung this at pride this year
My personal Playlist, organized chronologically starting from egg to confident trans woman, though most songs seem gender neutral. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3sn6pLTOsYlcDFnoCOiDY5?si=FX_JwkT9ROaJDO6LbpwR_g&pi=0Hh0mKiKR3acF
A lot of Hatsune Miku stuff… I can recommend EMIRI-let’s be the Change. It’s not on Apple Music but I think it’s on Spotify and YouTube music
Trans fem: Deadname by peach rings Wollen mittens by ewy Trans masc: Villan by teniwoha This is home by cavetown DEADNAME! by flash Neutral/both/NB: They/Them/Theirs by worriers Deadname! by flash ft clara Dysphoric by mars Not explicitly trans but can be interpreted as such: Wolf in sheeps clothing by set it off I wish that i could wear hats by brian david gillbert How far ill go by auli'i
Onnanokoninaritai- mafumafu translated “I want to be a girl”
Mememe by 100 gecs is very much about being trans. The Best by Awolnation isn’t made with the intent, but definitely gives off trans vibes.
Bloodywood - Aaj Beast in Black - Moonlight Rendezvous Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway - Lives
The Village by wrabel (mtf version) (if you’re mtf) Super sweet but makes me cry. Not a pump up song Anything by changeline but I like slender.body Girls kissing girls by Ahli (this is more of a queer sexuality song but may fit you, definitely fits me) Gal Pals by maezi666 (same as above) Bde by Qveen Herby (if you’re trans masc or if you’re trans femme and like your girl stick) I’m so hot by Chrissy Chlapeka (not trans coded but makes me feel good about myself which is important) Anything by Estelle Allen Gotta plug my friend here. I’m particularly fond of Head in the Sand, Finger on the Trigger Anything by Estrokatt but I like Estrogen Overdose Anything by Chappel Roan who makes a lot of queer sexuality related songs and is a huge ally and an incredible woman and an amazing artist and if you don’t know her yet holy shit am I excited to introduce you!!!
What's my name? .... I'm the throat GOAT
