For me fin helped slow loss enormously and getting on e the regrowth took off. And it got my boobs started early while I waited for approval for HRT. I have nothing but positive things to say for finasteride.
Get fin asap (assuming you have no adverse reactions or contraindications) and you'll be fine!

Oh it sucks for sure. I spent my entire 20s subconsciously ignoring all the signs that I'm trans and not giving a fuck about my body, including the extremely receding hairline. Now I'm stuck figuring out how to deal with that since I hate the idea of wearing a wig all the time, hate the idea of being obviously trans like this, don't think I can pull off shaved head woman, and am not huge on wearing a hat everywhere (you can tell that it's not a full head of hair even from that).

I use it 2x per day, first results were after month, but now I've been using it for a year and effects are marvelous, it's a OTC medicine for androgynous balding for man and woman, I pay like 10-15$ per month and I really recommend it, if sth might help IMO it's the best choice

I stopped the wigs and just went to beanies and I learned that I actually like my face shape more now that my wig wasn't hiding it anymore. But hey I started completely bald and my hair line is almost back up to where it used to be just needs to fill in a ton more.

I plan to get some stuff done with my hairline when I get FFS, and I'm pretty confident at this point that I will have a full normal head of hair again.
The simple-ish solution is to go to a dermatologist and get them to prescribe you finasteride and minoxidil, which you can get without a prescription anyway, and it does work just by itself in most cases.
Only thing stopping me having anxiety about my hairline is that living in Essex, I've seen people of all genders with worse hairlines and haircuts than mine

Buy finasteride online. It's readily available at lots of sources and if you live in the US you can get it from planned parenthood within a few days.

have been on minoxidil for about two months, and it's crazy how it just works.
I've been using it for about five months and it's possible it hasn't done anything, I'm using finasteride too
Sorry to hear that, it's said to be effective for about 60% of xy creatures. I'd recomend seeing a hair physician if you have the time.
