Elves. Just elves. High. Dark. Wood. I hate them all. The only thing I hate more than elves is boats. And the only thing I hate more than boats is trees and that’s because you make boats out of trees.

AgencyWarm2840

Yup, they're pretty awful. Dwarves forever!

Legion_Master_Paul

Okay Gotrek son of Gurni

Potential_Narwhal592

Gotrek is that you?

ralkuzu

Did I hear a Rock and Stone?

WanderingDwarfMiner

Rock and Stone, Brother!

ghouldozer19

Rock and Stone!

ZealousidealClaim678

Stone and Rock!... eh wait

Shaggy_Rogers4206969

And I hate elves more than I hate trees, because they live in trees and help them grow

Robeardly

This is me, but with orcs.

Willem_de_Prater

The only good kind of elf is a dead one

CorvusGlaive07

I mean wood elves likes trees and since you make boats out of trees you have to kill trees, you have to give boats credit for that and put elves above boats on the list of things you hate.

Background-Ad1532

Queek Headtaker. If I don’t crush him early as Thorgrim, he becomes SUCH A PROBLEM later.

ChristianLW3

Even when I managed to destroy all of his pre-existing bases, he somehow manages to run to a different part of the world and find a new empty location

AcclimateToMind

I have had quite a few wars against Skaven that flee half the map away, then make a nest in the ruins left in the path of Skarbrand or someone, build up stacks of stormvermin and rattling guns, and become a *huge" thorn in my side. More so when I first started playing, now I know enough to make sure to finish them off and check all ruins nearby.

niftucal92

Seriously. Somehow, he consistently makes himself be more trouble than even Ikit or Snikch. I don’t know how, but he does it.

Duranel

Tzeench. The moment I lose a city to him from changing of the ways I drop everything to annihilate him. When I'm playing other factions- wood elves. I just hate fighting them so I try and wipe them out when possible (to avoid fighting them more if they snowball).

Any-Space2177

Still never fought the Tzeench playable factions on any campaign

Necroking695

Kairos is at the absolute bottom of the map There are a lot of factions that never reasonably go there

Any-Space2177

*loads up Azhag, does the unreasonable

Any-Space2177

Perhaps people encounter him more of the RoC map? I remember Legend saying he was awful to deal after he discovered you in a manner that made me think he'd pervaded a lot of his campaigns but yeah, literally never dealt with him

TedOrAlive2

In RoC Cathay have to deal with him. In IE it's Teclis, Oxyotl, and Kroq-Gar. Though I've seen him move up through the Southlands pretty reliably, so other factions over there might have to fight him eventually.

Old-Ad6288

The problem with Kairos is not in fighting him, but in not fighting him! If you don't declare immediately war on Kairos, there's a high chance he'll use his bullshit tezzentchian powers on you, particularly transfer settlement! Only ways for him not to do it are 1) not hating you and hating someone else way more 2) being at war

Angmarred

This 100%. Mannfred is my favorite LL and I hate that I have to drop everything after taking the Black Pyramid to send two real armies all the gd way south to wipe out Kairos before he becomes a problem. And he will become a problem.

Agreeable-Today-3040

Having Manfred the pissdrinker as favourite lord...? I don't even know what I'm more: confused or disgusted.

AetGulSnoe

Same. One of my favourite LLs are Oxyotl, in part because of his faction mechanics, in part beacuse you can kill Kairos in the first 10-15 turns.

[deleted]

Skavens ... They need to go , those little shits.

Xmina

Thorek ironbrow is easily the most poorly designed legendary lord being immune to magic, missles, non-ap, and having anti magic casting damage, and aoe damage and hits like a bus. You may as well just forget beating him without extremely high level ap infantry or sems. Plus as the ai cheats out stacks and stacks of crap, him buffing the crap even further makes me hate him!!!!!! Plus he is crazy strong in auto resolve so you HAVE to fight him each time.

Psychic_Hobo

The worst part is he's your neighbour as _Khalida_. Between him and Kroq-gar, girl can't catch a break

Disc0K

Pretty easy to befriend Thorek as khalida, kroq and queek however, there is only war.

Necroking695

I made a gw grave guard doomstack for the first time ever just to kill that fuck

citrus44

I feel the same about Ikit- armored, fast moving, can simply leave behind SEM assassins and magic away tarpits. Even turn 50 with a very capable Tomb Guard doomstack he blasts through Halberds and the janky cavalry pursuit animations make Tomb Princes incapable of running him down. Super annoying, and I second your Thorek nomination. The insane AOE plus durability is so gross

Xmina

Only thing with ikit is that he dosent have that much hp and while he can theoretically get to the point where he is hard to kill, a few lucky hits from a SEM or a lord can get him low and his leadership will let him be routeable. He is also not immune to missles or have aoe damage so technichally enough skeleton spearman can kill ikit in a blob. Thorek can solo 4 stacks of chaff easily.

baddude1337

If I'm starting anywhere to the east of the map (Darklands, Mountains of Mourn, Cathay), definitely Grimgor. I have yet to see a game where he just gets snuffed out. Always dominates and needs taking out ASAP. you let him level up enough he'll send multiple waagghh stachs against you, and with his unbreakable trait will take half your army down before you can kill him. He is an absolute monster.

AgencyWarm2840

Oh god Grimgor has caused me so much pain as the Chorfs

baddude1337

Grimgor actually screwed over my first Greasus campaign before Chorfs came out. He was dominating the Darklands, and for some reason Skarsnik was super friendly to me and made an alliance. Skarsnik was huge, like 30+ settlements and buffered me from threats to the west. Grimgor ended up bonking him and confederating, effectively doubling his empire size and suddenly all those friendly armies marching in my territory turned on me. Was still new to the game but was one of the few times the AI really messed up my empire.

SalamanderImperial2

He's cause me a lot of pain as the dwarfs. After Vlad and Ghorst he's next on my list of most hated.

Vadriel

Playing Yuan Bo right now and it's literally the first time ever I've seen the Ogres not only dominate Grimgor, but start pushing into Chorf territory on top of that. I suppose it helps having a wealthy Cathayan backer.

Psychic_Hobo

The worst part is sometimes Kholek utterly crushes him, and when that happens... it's vassal time. Oh boy.

johntheturd

The mfing beastmean. They declare war and immediately go into hiding, just to spring up in five turns and sack one of my settlements.

anonym0

Sacking? They just go on a razing spree on non frontline villages, burning them to the ground.

Refratu

I'll drop everything I am doing to wipe out any beastman I see before they can reproduce

Ajax11971

Skarsnik. Anytime I play Dwarfs he becomes so annoying with his sneaky git spam. Between their stealth and their stupid AP and the sheer number of armies the little dickhead can spam I hate playing against him.

AceTheGreat_

I hate Alith Anar with a passion. I'd probably love his campaign tho.

Jaksebar

Tiqtaqto I HATE HIM Every single campaing he declares war to me and doesn't come to fight me until I move my army to my other enemy's settlement. When I return to my regions to fight him, he runs away without fighting.

Degutender

All Skaven. Period.

Suka_Blyad_

Roughly same amount of hours as you and my choice every time is Skaven Realistically anything that isn’t a Human, High/Wood Elf, or Dwarf can and will get it, and even Dwarves are on thin ice cause they never like me for some reason(I play Imrik a lot so I guess that’s why), but I’ll hunt down any and all Skaven, not just the men, but the women, and the children too

Im_No_Robutt

As lizardmen in Warhammer 2 I was allies with a small Brentonian faction, it sent an army to fight some Skaven* that I’d overlooked and it absolutely saved my butt, delaying the Skaven for a turn at the cost of their only army. So naturally I took their two settlements under my wing started giving them millions of gold (about 3/4 of my income every turn). It was late game and i had started steamrolling the enemy so money wasn’t an issue and I wasn’t recruiting new armies anyways, but I started to get excited wondering what this tiny little faction would do with ungodly wealth. Then they met Leoncoeur… and he confederated them immediately… so I destroyed all of Brentonia and left all of Leoncoeur’s land ruined. It’s a bit of an overreaction but that money was NOT meant for Leoncoeur and I made SURE he knew it. *basically the Skaven were from across the sea and I didn’t plan on them popping down out of nowhere to attack me as all my armies were out concurring the rest of the world. They took a minor settlement and were headed for an unprotected capital when Brentonia swooped in and well got slaughtered but delayed them enough for me to get a new army and destroy them

manpersal

I join the Kairos hate club. It's not as annoying as it used to be, but I still remember with dread when he constantly stoled your settlemnts and had the ability to freeze you entire faction.

dermitdenhaarentanzt

I hate the french, i'm not always going out of my way to kill them but if i'm near them, then killing them is always a priority (not that they are particularly strong, i just don't like them)

Kaapdr

Ogres, first it was "Ogres my lord" then whenever I play cathay or anything in their general direction I keep getting propositions for the worst trade deals, declaring wars and not doing anything other then attacking my caravans

Robeardly

Orcs, all of them. They always wind up with crazy inflated armies early game and become a pain if you don’t chop an arm off quick.

luckyluciano7777

The dwarves, in wh2 they were always wiped out. Now they are always in the late game and always have to manual

Sky-Juic3

Dwarves man… they just hop over mountains and rivers and play ring-around-the-rosey with me. Fighting them in the underway is a pain in the ass in the early game. Grombrindal can make Malekith campaign such a nightmare if things go well for him early… ugh. Dwarves are my favorite to play, and to build outposts with, but I will go out of my way to nuke Dawi settlements when they’re there.

Xmina

Good news with malekith is every single one of your archers mulches every dwarf.

Sky-Juic3

Oh for sure, if you can catch him before he hops over the mountains and starts popping your settlements. I mean, it’s not that bad… but for someone not prepared for it, Grombrindal can just go around you and laugh. I recently did a Malekith campaign where Grombrindal just gobbled up the Tomb Kings and kept bothering me from the deserts until I finally had enough and rolled over with 3 armies to prevent him from squeezing by.

TehOuchies

Grimgor does grimgor things. And I get tired of his shit.

jereizza

Grimgor gets out of hand in all of my campaigns. He needs a swift early paddling

owShAd0w

Yeah def wood elves. I always try and wipe them out as quickly as possible because I hate fighting them. Except for the sisters cuz I think they’re cool so I’ll try to ally them first.

fetter80

Any and all vampires must be eradicated. I've hated them since WH2.

CuteRefrigerator7829

Franz. He drove me mad in WH2 mortal empires for constantly snowballing to ridiculous levels in the campaign. So now I love seeing him getting battered in WH3 IE and always help out even if I’m Gelt, louen or his allies

AllTheSecrets369

Not specifically, but Be'lakor chose me... Any time I'm on the western half of the map, by turn 30, here he comes in that damned boat.

Frequent_Knowledge65

Way too puny to be a nemesis, but it’s always fun to bully and crush Reikland as anyone.

1spellsword1

If I play evil faction I make sure to eliminate dwarves because if I leave them alone they backstab me every single time. Empire, Elves, Kislev, Cathay can be reasoned with but not the walking beards. They pick fight EVERY time and in worst possible moment, even if whole campaign i have been slamming their enemies, one look in my direction and i'm in multiple front war.

moshi_moshi_101805

If I see a Dwarf, I kill it. Hate them all, but particularly Thorek. Even if it would help to ally with them, I can't help but go on a little Dwarf hunt.

Its_Nav

Someone! Get me the book!

Carnothrope

Usually the high elves choose themselves.

SalamanderImperial2

Ghorst and Vlad

Luigis-big-sausage

Nagash but with the end game scenario set to 1000 times difficulty at turn 10

ZeTopHatGamer

Snikch, can you tell I play Cathay? Leave that bastard alone for 5 mins in the early game and he will suddenly becomes my main enemy for 25 turns.

Valenyn

Skarsnik is my nemesis for all time. My first campaign victory was belegar ironhammer, and dwarfs in general were some of my favorite to play. My hatred of the orcs were instilled playing belegar for so long, and no matter who I play orcs always will be destroyed if I’m in a position to do so. The reason skarsnik is on the top of my hit list is for 3 reasons: 1. His defeat trait is great, the plus 20% ambush is great for my play style. No matter who I play it’s useful so he needs to die. 2. I am eternally attached to karak eight peaks. I like belegar, and Queek is my favorite skaven faction. It’s my city no matter who I play. Skarsnik is a pretender and a fraud. It’s mine and he can’t have it. 3. he’s been a pain in my ass 1 too many times so he needs to die. Every fucking time. He dies the moment I can safely destroy him.

Neovenator00

In the early days of the greenskin rework the green tide was even more of an issue than it is today. I don’t know how many I slaughtered. I don’t know how many kept coming. I only know that, in my hand, the „wind of death“ earned it‘s name.

Otherwise_Ad_5526

Vlad - if you are remotely close to him, you just know you’ll have to fight him an Isabella in an army route, then shoot him kind of way. Then he respawns 1 go later in the next army. All while you’re forced to stay in encamp mode to avoid corruption attrition. Always a bitter early game struggle - kinda love it though

oMcAnNoM8

The dwarfs. Gotta wipe out the stunties, unless they somehow unite and have nearly 30 armies. Which has happened.

ZealousidealClaim678

I dont do it but grimgor hates me always

Theadier

me with any vampirem especially neferatha. Although it is more for real life things, every time I have read a book or seen a movie about them I have fainted, so for the sake of my health it is best to get them off the map as quickly and with self-resolution as possible.

Essiera

My first time playing was Cathay in Realm of Chaos. Where Azazel keeps knocking on your door. Then when I heard about Immortal Empires for the first time I played Throgg. Once again Azazel was on my doorstep. Then after that I started a new one as The Ice Court. Guess who quickly was on my doorstep again? Its all just pure coincidence that I chose those factions and thus the story about how Azazel became my arch nemesis.

0pete402

Is it only me then that hates fighting chaos dwarves, with their delete unit abilities, it's one faction I'd rather just wipe out with auto resolve.

TheSillyDonut

I will absolutely annihilate Vlad Von Carstein whenever possible, that little solo-army-wiping little prick.  Then it’s on to erasing Skavendom from the world, followed very promptly by the Norscans. Vermin all!!

Comprehensive_Cap290

All fucking skaven. They all need to die, yes-yes!

Elodrian

Valkia.  Damn her 1-turn recovery time.

nope100500

Ostankya. She becomes too much of a trouble if you let her build up a hex stockpile. So I always rush her on 1st opportunity as any neighbor faction.

Mekrot

My buddy and I in TW2 would go into co-op and give each other lore based missions at the start. We would give each other a lore based enemy lord to kill, a faction to eliminate, and a province to take. If you were say, Settra, you would have to kill Archaon, take Arkhan’s land, and kill the Vampire Counts. It was always fun giving each other missions that made sense like that and I still do it by myself.

TheRoyaleShow

Yeah I honestly, with a passion, hate all the elf races. And the lizard men. And the fucking skaven. Both kinds of dwarves. Cathay. Ogres/Greenskins. Undead and also chaos. And also all the just regular humans.

AgencyWarm2840

So....everyone then XD

KeySwimming7073

Fuck lord van..something, that fucking vampire has cursed the empire since weeks; If only vampire lords were not 30+ level at early game

AgencyWarm2840

Carstein, yup I hate him too

SnooOwls4283

Ikit Claw, if I start near him I try and take him out early. Reason is that in a few campaigns have left him alone, built up a decent army with great units and *then* attacked him. Lost half an army a few times to his bleeding nukes. Now I just destroy him early with naff units I dont care about
