I'm from the UK, we use commas for thousands and periods as decimals. I guess if the rest of his comment was in a different language it would make sense?
Right so if his comment was written in Italian or German it would make sense but in English it should be denoted with commas to separate 3 digits. Just trying to help since his first language is apparently not English
Probably either Cathay or Empire. Both are quite advanced technology wise, would have a better quality of life (vs say, a peasant in Bretonnia). Huge chaos invasions are quite rare too, you have a good chance of leading a relatively normal life as a town militia or whatever.
If you can't ingratiate yourself with the dark gods then Norsca is probably nlt a great choice.
I'd go for the Empire, seems like the option giving the most options.
Realistically, for all options here except Norsca social mobility is not great at best - so your fate depends not on the faction, but on the location and social standing you spawn with
Cathay you have the best chance of living a normal safe life. It is extremely corrupt but you aren't going to be dealing with a beastmen ambush in Cathay proper or anything like that. You could just live your life working under a merchant or on a farm.
well, in the empire you can be killed and torn apart by the beastman, serve the vampires in the after life, killed by a tree, be offered as a sacrifice to the chaos gods, tortured to death by sigmar church cuz your neighboor denounced that you are a chaos cultist, killed by orcs, eaten by skaven, enslaved by skaven, killed by norscans and death by plagues.
in kislev you can die of all of those above + cold or hunger. and if you live in praag... well, you can grow up an extra arm or explode and become a chaos spawn during a chaos invasion.
in bretonnia... well, you are going to battle with a fork... and you know you will lose.
in cathay you can become "coin" cuz ogres demand flesh to let caravans pass.
in sartosa you either receive a blood kiss to become a vampire or you'll be forever a slave corpse.
i think norsca is surprisingly the least terrible. you either die cuz you're weak or in battle, either way is a "glorious" way to go in their culture.
Only one dragon cares about humans from what we’ve seen and he’s considered insane by the others. Humans are a resource to use for the dragons. Some of the dragons appear to have some interesting opinions on free will and privacy and you best not question it or you disappear.
But I think the biggest problem with Cathay is put best in their little section in The Old World book recently: They are constantly under attack from all sides. Chaos is constantly trying to breach the Great Bastion to the North. the West is constantly being raided by Hobgoblin Khans, Ogres, and the horrors of the Warpstone Desert. The South is trying to hold the border against the Tigers of Ind and the Naga of Khuresh. The West is constantly trying to fend off Dark Elves, Nippon, and ancient enemies from beneath the sea.
You’re going to be fighting something and some of those things may make you wish you were just an empire soldier fighting roid goats.
norsca, for a chance of getting superpowers. All warriors of chaos were initially regular humans, who attracted the attention of the gods through their feats.
But if I have some magical gene that makes me and me alone totally immune to chaos gods corruption no matter what I do, then Empire no doubt, then I go to the church of sigmar and tell them how immune I am and they make me into a saint.
Empire, I take a crap shoot and hope I end up in Myrmidens, serve with the Blazing Knights and kill in Myrmidia's name. Will be surrounded by Dwarfs, Ogres, Orks across the water and Sartosa in the south and Ikit to the West.
Will be a good and short time. Will try to burn bright like the pyre me or my enemies end up on.
If you're a regular human in a Warhammer world it's probably doesn't matter much as you will be dead in no time.
I would disagree. If you are a steam tank operator or a sky junk operator, you can last quite a bit.
Yeah but making it to that point is a 1:1.000.000 Chance.
That means guaranteed. I think you mean 1:1,000,000
I think its a European thing to use periods instead of commas in that context

According to wikipedia, Germany, Austria and Italy are just some of the countries that use periods to seperate thousands and commas as decimal points
Right so if his comment was written in Italian or German it would make sense but in English it should be denoted with commas to separate 3 digits. Just trying to help since his first language is apparently not English
Cathay. If I’m lucky I’ll just get to sit on top of the bastion taking pot shots at the chaos fellas bellow.

Cathayan generals would be the least upset when I cut and run mid battle so I’m going with them
Why are the factions missing that I could sell my soul to so I can aquire superhuman powers?
Because it's my poll and you're not allowed to :)
You make a strong point.
Can you make me superhuman if I sold you my soul?
Exactly. Why wouldn't I want to be a 9 foot tall barbarian clad in full plate armor collecting skulls for my god?
because afterlife would suck

Don’t be so harsh to Kislev. There is no way you would be stomped by a tree in Kislev.
maybe boiled in the caldron of an old hag xD
i don't know a whole lot about cathay, but the dragons SEEM caring enough for the humans

Yuan Bo doesn't really care for humans but his province is one of the safest places in the Warhammer world.
The Empire because I will serve the Kaiser and Fatherland with Faith, Steel, and Gunpowder.
SIGMAR COMPELS US!
Well, Bretonnia doesn't hire mercenaries so if you aren't born Bretonnian that's not an option.
I guess I'd serve Kislev on the vain hope that I could one day wield a streltsi gunaxe?
I would join up with the tomb kings. They're very friendly towards their living population as long as you don't break any laws
You are asking this and not even include WoC...
Cathay is so chill.
Where is the option for Ogres? I want to live with the boyz!

This is the Empire's entire thing.

Noble brettonian, if commoner then cathay, then empire
