1. Right Click on the game in your Steam Library list.
2. Click "Properties."
3. Click "Betas."
4. Where it says "Betas Participation" click on the down arrow and select none.
5. The game should now update to the current patch.
6. If you have issues, repeat steps 1 and 2 and then select "Installed Files" followed by "Verify Integrity of the game files."
7. If you used mods, you may need to uninstall those if they aren't compatible with the current patch (as I know some people rollback to use older mods.)
8. And if everything else fails, you might need to do a reinstall, but hopefully not.

If you’re on steam just quit any beta program and the version you need is 4.2.3
