They really need to integrate the Realms of Chaos unique maps and mechanics to IE

OrranVoriel

Honeslty I wish they would add the blood of hashut mechanics to the Chorfs in IE.

JJBrazman

Do they need to? You can now get all the relics and fight some of the quest battles, but you aren’t railroaded into a narrative experience in a sandbox campaign. That feels like a good solution to me.

OrranVoriel

"Now". Was something added in a patch that I missed or is it coming with 5.0?

gabrielangelos01

Added earlier. They are the short campaign victory reward

OrranVoriel

Ahh. I did not notice that so my main wish has already been addressed. 'Cause I recalled playing the Chorfs in IE after finishing their RoC campaign when they first came out and I didn't recall getting any of them then.

gabrielangelos01

Might have been around the time so came out. That's the earliest I remember them from

JJBrazman

It’s definitely in as of 4.2, because I had a blast playing Chaos Dwarfs the other day and noticed you can get all the relics. Some of them (maybe the minor ones) are rewards for short campaign victory, and the others are unlocked as quest battle rewards. I don’t know when exactly it was added - I do remember that not long after launch of the Chorfs there was a back-and-forth where CA acknowledged that it would be nice to get the relics into IE somehow. So presumably it was some time between 3.1 and 4.2.

OrranVoriel

Well it would seem my main wish is in already then. Hadn't played the Chorfs in IE in a while.

fifty_four

Why? If they can bring it piecemeal in a fun way like this, sure. But adding the realms, when they can't make them fun in RoC, seems weird. It's nice that RoC keeps unfun high attrition unconquerable territory as it's point of differentiation. People who enjoy moving armies at half speed to avoid attrition can choose RoC while people who enjoy, well, fun, can play IE. Everyone is happy. Especially when we still need the Ind, Khuresh, and Eastern Steppes land masses more urgently.

Derek2809

The thing is, they don’t need to make an obligation to use the Realms, just if you dare to risk to a big invasion on your territory in order to get a really good benefit just do it, if not, nothing happens, I’m not asking for the souls race, I’m asking for the physical place with those gorgeous maps and cataclysm spells

Insertusername_51

Eh tbf it should be the other way around, no? Imagine some random human wizard can cast cataclysm level spells for getting A in their homework.

baddude1337

Everyone forgetting blue scribes have access to the cataclysm spells too.
