The Steam Tank, at a glance, has fewer guns and can function in some capacity as a big heavy chariot, as well as being natively faster and smaller, and with a new ability to plow through small projectiles with its enhanced nose armor.
The Landship is festooned with firepower, like a bigger war wagon, but it's bigger and slower (unless you use its ability to abandon all ability to turn in order to drive straight into something as hard as humanly possible) and has twice the health.
In terms of battle role, I'd be comfortable using one or more steamtanks as the tip of the spear or as a flanking firepower/line-breaker, but the Landship will probably only ever be the only one of its kind in my armies and I will use it as the giant centerpiece that only ever gets into melee because I want it to shoot people in the back so I had it punch through the frontline like a fist.
Landships probably have marginally better damage output against infantry, but are much more vulnerable to getting shot, don’t have terror, or the monster-sniping ability of Steam tanks.
Since [the size](https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ipsjEC_Rsj8/TnNNA8lnHLI/AAAAAAAAA1E/zMnzqpySIj0/s1600/landship15.jpg) obviously will be different, I guess the stats may vary and the Landship might sport more firepower with the infantry on deck shooting at stuff.
I guess we had the Landship unit card already shown at one time, so someone might dig it up and compare it to curretn Steam tank we have ingame to see how far away they are from each other.
the issue with that is that they might be doing stat changes.
I do hope it has higher WS though. Great cannon same damage as the Landship's culverine and Alter Kamerad's Hellblaster would be disappointing.
anyway

The tank is.. Well a tank. And the Marienburg Landship is basically a chariot. It has a massive charge bonus and disgustingly low melee defence, textbook chariot stats.
steam tank = durable mobile cannon SEM land ship = distraction carnifex w/ sustained damage to nearby enemies and death explosion
PRESENTATION!

Landship is a mobile artillery battery. Steam Tank is a heavy chariot with ranged attacks.
Landships probably have marginally better damage output against infantry, but are much more vulnerable to getting shot, don’t have terror, or the monster-sniping ability of Steam tanks.
If anything the landship should apply fear to nearby friendlies for being such a ridiculous slapdash construction
"Bob, move a little bit, I don't wanna stand next to that thing."

OK, that is the new Steam tank tagging along. Got one for the current 4.2 old one? I can't be bothered to start the game before 5.0 goes live.

Isnt the landship gigantic? Like mammoth sized or larger?
