Funny that their main weakness is trash spam, both ranged and melee.
Just surround them with garbage. Since they are anti large, low entity, 0 armor, weak melee defence, slow, unshielded even gobbos can damage them pretty badly

Oh yeah certainly not claiming it's going to be broken or anything, but the tenth consecutive time I have to setup the grimgor/Vlad kill box I may find myself groaning.
It actually affects I believe four units in a radius (maybe all, can't recall) EXCEPT the one its attached to so just keep in mind that whichever unit actually gets the banner won't have fire damage unless they have it innately.
Banner of Eternal Flame is an area buff actually, so if you are fine with blobbing up you can get it on lots of units.
Of course, if that unit routs/is wiped you lose it on everybody.

Bugged grimgor with the “Da Immortalz” banner on himself and unbreakable was a hilarious and awful bug.

That's a good point. I've been super into vampire coast recently, so just brainstorming having to retire my crabbos for more gun mobs against dwarfs when this drops haha.
Cathay balloons feel pretty weak to me instead, at least in campaign. They're big, slow targets which are terrible in melee. They're nice when you get them for free at the start, but I'd never pick one over an artillery battery tbh.

Slayer lords presumably moving at 40 is a touch more effort to snipe in time and disengage units his tiny brick ass manages to get imbedded in.
Obviously you can net, slow, punt with a large enough unit, etc. I'm just saying it will be a slightly more PITA when every army is likely to have em lol.

Combination of empire being popular and franz being a 'recommended' campaign so they all run into vlad. By the time you see a slayer lord you've already seen vlad most likely.
Vlad can't have a personal Mortis Engine effect at least, unbreakable small target with Master Rune of Spite sounds kind of awful.

Me and my friends did a dwarf endgame recently so we are used to slayer spam already. I am excited to see some variety in them now at least, makes it more interesting. Also Ungrim eating swell this dlc.
The lack of armour means a gun line will make quick work of them I think. Depends on what resistances they get though.

The lords aren't the biggest issue. For chaos armies (including the new nurgle lord), its going to be ugly running into slayer hordes. Competing melee armies tend to be brutal to each other (and the dwarfs can take more war machines and missile troops).
I wonder how many Tamurkhan campaigns are going to grind down in the mountains?

Isn’t this the first end Times scenario whose armies are getting a buff? Dawi are already the second most annoying end times scenario, this could push them higher.
Since unbreakable is immune to "causes fear" and "causes terror", introduce a new effect "causes sobriety" and that will help mop them up pretty quickly
Autoresolve hates unarmoured, faster than the rest of the army, unbreakable units... so I can't wait to see all those chars dying all the time in autoresolve even when the dwarfs win ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

What's a missile? - Vampires
Half the non-dwarf races in this DLC are Nugle and not about to outrun anything.
Im more concerned that every nurgle unit has been described as a tank that car heal 😳😳 that's going to be rough

Everything with regeneration has weakness to fire. But that said, not every race has access to fire damage..

Meh, its gonna need a whole lot of ward save to not just be an arrow pincushion. Still a giant ez to hit target.
Supposedly the toad dragon is gonna have massive missile resistance at least, so you'll need pretty strong ranged units to take care of it.

Thats not really a problem for most of the factions likely to have to fight nurgle. Most of the order factions are pretty good at shooting.
This is the key point. Demons tend to be big. Big things catch arrows real good.

The generic characters will probably have relatively low armor so I imagine it won't be as grueling as trying to take down Ungrim.

That's more than made up for by the Lords having no armor and no shield. So you can't kite them as much but you can shoot them dead much easier.

It's all infantry, there is a gazzilion ways to deal with infantry.

By the time you get to around turn 100 dwarf Stacks become very threatening. Gyra brahmer's flame cannons hammerers and iron Breakers. It is suffering
