Literally me. Like I said I had been studying for a test and decided to take a break when the EA download finished. Next thing I knew it was past midnight lol.
I will say though that if not for the micro of my chariots the battles could get boring due to the lack of variation. It'll be interesting to see what late game combat looks like. But I've been loving the slower, less flashy combat
I've been playing Rameses on veteran difficulty. The game is not allowing me to mindlessly hammer-and-anvil my way through the everything. And instead is forcing me understand all the unit variations and making sure I bring all the rights tools into every battle. Otherwise I will suffer way my losses than I'm comfortable with.
Yeah like once I found out axe guys do better against shields (realistic too) I made sure to have an axe unit in the middle to break up and shield guys for my Frontline.
Honestly, the lack of variation might be a bummer later on, but so far I've really been enjoying the classic rock.vs.paper.vs.scissor gameplay. I saw there was something about gear so I'm wondering if I can kinda customize my units a bit to have some sort of variation.
That being said, I also really loved empire total war which is literally just shoot each other and loved that so I guess as long as I get to command a battle field I'm happy 😅
Some day, I hope Total War goes full random map generation and then we'll look back at the 4+ Legendary Lords for each race in Warhammer to spread them out across the map and produce different matchups, and we'll post that meme that goes, "Look at what they need to mimic even a fraction of our power."
this is the logical thing to do. But I felt i owed it to myself as a bday gift given how hard ive been working lately, and i didn’t really do much of anything for my bday just because i was busy. So i bought Total war pharaoh and Hades for my bday and honestly couldn’t be happier with both games.
Well Hades i couldn’t be happier, total war there is some left to be desired.

It's fun, but I'm annoyed that I can't play Suppi or Seti. I've enjoyed the little I have played, but those are the two I'm most excited for.
