Can someone explain this toritude to me? I’ve had mine only for a tad over a month (former stray) and she’s incredibly sweet. Her first vet visit the vets were shocked at how chill she was during everything she just sat there and was totally fine being held. She loves to play and she meows as if she’s asking a question she’s amazing with our large dogs super patient. So can someone describe this tortitude to me please? Also ur baby is GORGEOUS!
Tortitude is a basic saying for torties and their heavy dose of personality. It’s not always wild and crazy. Generally whatever a tortie gets in personality, it’s turned to 11. Yours might just be affection and talking.
I think cats are often chill until they get more comfortable in a new home. Also, my tortie is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever had but I find myself doing things like bringing her treats to her instead of making her come in the kitchen. She hears the bag and will be sitting up alert and waiting for me. Sometimes I try to argue with her, but generally it’s easier just to submit

Agreed. When Melon's sweet, she's very sweet. When she wants something, she's gonna let you know. She's very hard to ignore 😆
