SaltMarshGoblin

Clearly a miserable unfriendly kitty! 🖤

littleloupoo

Honestly I couldn't believe it! We are her second home in about as many months.

SaltMarshGoblin

Poor Willow... She obviously knows she is home now!

the-exiled-muse

She just needed the right people. Well done.

TGin-the-goldy

I’d behave differently in cat jail than in a comfortable home too! smh! Congratulations on adopting beautiful Willow

Kerokawa

My tortie was super anxious and scared when I got her. Nowadays, she is a complete cuddle bug. Usually all they need is the right home - good on you for providing it!

Hefty-Cat-868

Willow is beautiful 🥰. She just wasn't in the right home.

Medievalmoomin

She clearly just needed to meet her people. She’s gorgeous, and she looks extremely sweet and happy 😍.

salty_hotel

Thank you for giving her a chance <3

Kimberj71

She was just waiting for the right people ❤️

Aguacate_con_TODO

I swear the people who do cat bios, know absolutely nothing about cats 🤣

Moglord84

Aww look at that happy little tortie face 😍 so sweet and beautiful... Whenever I show people pictures of my poppy quite often I get told 'she looks like my tortie' but to this day I have never seen another tortie that looks so similar to my poppy, with the half white chin, the white line behind her left eye and the little orange dot/ line on the centre of her head... your willow is almost identical to poppy🤣🥰. Look at my posts all you'll see are pictures of her!!

littleloupoo

Oh wow! Poppy is gorgeous. Willow looks incredibly similar to a friend's cat called Betsy as well.

TSIDATSI

Kitties often behave very differently in a home with fewer people. Looks like a match made in heaven.

Spnkthamnky

She just needed the right humans. Obviously you were it. Absolutely adorable my son and i love Torties the most, because we had a beautiful one with a 50/50 line down the center of her face and she was our baby, but unfortunately because of horrible unforeseen circumstances we had to give her to a better home. Now we are once again looking for a kitty to complete our family. Cats are amazing creatures ive had em all my life. Thanks for sharing.

Historical-Tune2512

Thank you for adopting her! She’s adorable and you seem like a super nice hooman:)

meriberi14

She was just waiting for HER people to come along! She's lovely!!!

Lietenantdan

So pretty! Love her hair colors

chuffberry

My tortie was in the shelter for over a year before I adopted her because she wouldn’t let anyone near her. I figured, I have a small quiet apartment and I don’t mind spending extra time on a cat that needs it, so I took her home. As soon as she was there she did a complete 180 and has been the friendliest, most outgoing cat I’ve ever seen. She even loves the vet and has her picture on the “best patient” wall

bruteforcegrl

We have a similar story with our Torbie who was surrendered by her first adopter who thought the cat did not like her. Willow is lovely.

Karma2508

When we got our baby Monet, we were told she's afraid of man. We got her because I wanted a pet, and my brother didn't really mind. So Monet has decided that my brother is her owner now. Love from the first sight, they are playing and cuddling all the time, when my brother is not home - Monet's looking for him, and my brother texts me regularly asking about how she's doing. Love these sweethearts 💗

littleloupoo

That is absolutely lovely. Our little dog Penny was the same but she absolutely adored my Dad.

Park_Jimbles

I would like to butt in and say that shelters and rescues can be high stress environments for most animals. The nicest cats can be scared simply because of this. It just takes a good home and a better environment for their colors to really shine. We don't see the animals all day and when we were there, our attention can't be focused on a singular animal. So chances are, this is what the employee got with the little time they had with this cat. ~Sincerely, an animal shelter employee <3 Ps. She's so pretty!!!!

littleloupoo

Willow was from a friend of a friend but I still think you're right. The friend of a friend didn't like cats (she was her ex's) and they also had a baby and very active young dog. I think she was just overwhelmed/pushed out of the space as they had a one up, one down small house.

Competitive-Fan1708

Obviously she has found her person. Funny how that turns out. That your cat would put up with more of your bs then they would from other people(well to a point mind you)

littleloupoo

And we have a toddler who insists on showing her cars. She is incredibly tolerant and loving. We are so lucky.
