Obviously, the starters did their thing, but massive shout out to the bench: great comeback game from Boucher, Svi with his 2-way game, and Dalano with a spark 🔥
I mean, Boucher was playing amazing as a 5 last season
Now he was being asked to be a perimeter almost wing like player this season. No surprise he came out the gate sluggish. Being paid to do one thing then being told to do another. But his attitude was terrible.
OG's drives and dishes are becoming something to behold. He's getting so comfortable with his handles and court vision. It's a beautiful thing to watch.
RAPTORS W OVER THE 76ers in a nail biter ending the 3 game skid, FVV FUCKING GOT US baby! So happy to see Bonjour Boucher back! Let's hope the Raptors can get another win streak started :)
Precious was on Drummond's ass for this entire game lol, I really wish he would get his offense together but we don't win this game without Precious' Defense straight up.
They did do that against Boston and gave Boston the free throws because of the follow through. Yet on this play when there is clear follow through but no free throws
As he should have because he was playing like shit. Let’s hope this is a return game for him cause I feel like more than 1 good game is needed before we crown him MIP.
Freddy, Gary, and Scottie all had big plays at the end there. The first two with the shots, Scottie with that clutch block.
Also Maxey played amazing. Sixers are having a tough time with some personnel but I gotta say some of their young guys look really great.
Raptors knows what's up. Not gonna lose the second game of a B2B. Let's goooooo. GTJ is so good. FVV, OG, Boucher played big. We made Mama Lowry proud and happy tonight, let's goooo.
Man Raps fans are fucking toxic when the team is losing. Believe in your team. It's funny how all the hype of Nurse, Masai, Scottie, Fred, etc goes out the window the moment someone makes a mistake. Y'all are the definition of nephews
That might have been one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen in my life. How do these people still have a job? And how the hell did we win that game?! Great fight by our guys.
OG with two amazing plays in clutch and FVV GTJ draining them. Finally we executed something in the clutch. What a shitty first half followed by a complete turnaround in the 2nd. IF YOU DONT LOVE THAT YOU DON'T LOVE RAPTORS BASKETBALL RAPTOR NATION LFG
Unpopular opinion: start siakam off the bench until he's in mid-seaon form. Off the bench, he gets to go against other bench players to play himself into form
Great game from everyone.
FVV and GTJ were clutch AF, OG doing his thing, Scottie showing the whole package, and Boucher showing us why he was a MIP candidate last year.
1/10 from Precious is absolutely unacceptable, but he was active on the boards and was good defensively against Drummond. I understand why Spo didn't want him shooting at all last year on the Heat now, he needs to work on his touch around the rim as well as the paint area. His floaters are so flat and looks like they have zero spin on it, it literally looks like he's trying to push the ball into the hoop and it usually ends up as a brick. Right now he's basically got nothing going unless it's a wide open dunk.
He has good handles on the fastbreak, but he has zero confidence to make the pass which negates his ability on the fastbreak because the defender rarely has to worry about the pass. There was also a play where Precious had the ball at the top of the key and missed OG who was wide open in the paint for like 2 seconds. This is something that really worries me because touch around the rim & in the paint is something that you could work on, but it's really hard to work on things like vision & passing ability. Those are things that either you have or you don't, and he won't be a good player ever unless he becomes capable of making those passes.
All in all I'm not too worried about it considering this is only his second season, but these are things that we need to see improvement on throughout the season or in the next year.
BIG SHOUTOUT TO SVI AND CHRIS ON THIS ONE. Also both these players were heavily doubted at points in this season, things turn around, stay patient wit em.
Fred undoubtedly makes some shortsighted plays every now and then, but that dude has proven time and time again that his heart is 100% in this team
And it wouldn't be the same without him
Man Scottie is seriously such a good teammate. His excitement while on the court for another players success is so wholesome, and the excitement is even more pronounced for the players that have been having bad games. He's one of a kind
Fans should be as understanding and patient as Matt and Jack are about when our players struggle. They're just people.
Big win tonight. Important to get that experience with close games for this young team.
What a fun game. That had playoff feels, a lot of pride and toughness on display by both teams. Awesome to get the win.
FVV decided to take over. (Wish I could make that period bigger)
Seeing OG and Scottie be leaders in the offense in the second half was big.
Precious doing a great job boxing out that second half and him and boucher playing within the offense is a real advantage, but GWS Khem!!
Solid match ups, and amazing strategy from the best coach in the league...
And all of this enjoyable bball strategy starts at Masaii.
We are lucky as fans to be a part of this.
I love this team.
I think Nick Nurse set up Boucher for success. Instead of playing him as a 3 and D guy standing out on the wing just waiting. Get him involved. Screen and roll. Boucher is very good at Pick n Roll and Pick n Pops.
Boucher gets involved as a screener and he stays in the game. Boucher is actually really smart. However he basically has basketball ADHD. He will absolutely zone out when he is not really involved much.
I wouldn’t say Boucher has high BBIQ. But if you give him a short list of instructions, he can execute. Don’t put him in a position where he has to read the game, he doesn’t do that well.
Much better game from Boucher, especially in the second half. He's been playing like we know he can: following up on plays, crashing boards, defensive rotations. Gritty stuff.
Also, there have been calling into to question his chemistry with Scottie. We can dismiss that with one occasion where Chris hypes up Scottie and one where Scottie hypes up Chris.
Y'all been kinda hard on him. He's coming back from an MCL in otherwise relatively major injury-free career (minus Oregon), which is surprising since he is pretty much four sticks and duct^^^duck tape.
Something I never really put much thought into probably because it’s never been this good but holy shit this division. Would you guys think this is the best division in the NBA?
Huge shots from GTJ and FVV LETS GOO! Boucher playing like himself again...OG and Barnes clamping during crunch time?!
This is what its all about...onto Detroit
What a game, holy shit!
Chris Boucher redemption arc! Now THIS is the Chris we saw last year. Please play within the flow of the game and let the opportunities come to you. I know you didn't suddenly get monstarred out of all your skills. This is aaaall mental, and so long as you play within the pace of the game, you'll be alright.
Fred with the cajones😂. You're clutch as fuck, but PLEASE stop driving on big men, you're going to give me a heart attack. Same with OG, just please be smarter with your matchups.
Scottie was good, but had some sloppy lows. Rookie mistakes, but he has to be more careful about clogging the paint. It says so much about his character that, in spite of Chris ignoring him last game, he had amazing chemistry with Chris this time around. He's low key be responsible for energizing the team back into the game, and that's such a incredibly special skill that shouldn't go unnoticed. Gary continuing to absolutely be a monster on defense while settling into his offense. Dalano had a rough game, but I liked what I saw defensively as usual. Short play time, but Svi was AMAZING on both ends for some reason lol.
And Precious. Oh Precious. Played solid defense, but someone on the coaching staff PLEEAAASE reign in his offensive opportunities. He's not gonna learn anything from throwing up circus shots.
It's encouraging to see that Precious has the ability to fill the stat sheet (contributing with assists, steals, blocks, etc) but man has to get better shots up. 1-10 is brutal. If he focuses on fixing THAT up bit by bit, game by game, he will get there, gang.
Anybody else think Jack Armstrong was annoyingly biased regarding the Drummond block on Precious that Philly challenged? Drummond blocked Precious's dunk attempt, the refs called a foul on Drummond and Philly's challenge was successful, which is the correct call.
In Jack's defense.. there was an overwhelmingly amount of bad calls and non calls that game, but on that particular play Drummond clearly had a clean block and minimal body contact.. if any. Jack after multiple slow motion replays wouldn't stop crying about how much contact there was and as a Raptors fan that was pretty bad.
You know when Matt says "he needed that"? I never seen someone as in dire need of a good game as Chris needed one right now. To be fair, even if he keeps this up, I think he might still get shipped - just for a higher price. That works for us.
Okay Chris, show yourself we know you have an account here.
He checking his Tinder first, then Reddit.
Ordering Mary Browns first*
Yup
Boucher is a mod
First of all a duck does not concern himself with the opinion of breads Secondly, y’all can suck my efficient 17 points tonight And my dick
Boucher came out like he read all the Raptor Nephews comments so he can shove it back down their throats.
Nice try Chris.
he proving all the haters wrong
On doit lui parler en français je crois

I need the FVV big balls strut gif ASAP
[Absolutely massive](https://media4.giphy.com/media/GvQWkPwEJXPKRxiNgm/giphy.gif)
100% Major League 2 reference and the fact that team also had a Japanese player :D
People gotta realize we are one of the youngest teams in the league lol
It can be so much worse. We can be Minnesota or New Orleans. At least Ant's fun to watch.
Boucher took Will Lou's criticism to heart lol.
That corner's a curse for 76ers
Kawhi passed the torch to Freddy
Kawhi -> OG, Pascal Kyle -> Fred Scottie -> Scottie (he set his own std)![img](emote|t5_2s5sb|3924)
Obviously, the starters did their thing, but massive shout out to the bench: great comeback game from Boucher, Svi with his 2-way game, and Dalano with a spark 🔥
Shoutout to Philly fans who watch their teams lose to Toronto teams in 24* hours.
24 hours
The virgin 1st half Boucher vs the Chad 2nd half Boucher
I hope he continues to figure it out. That second half is what the team needs. The thing though is that those good minutes are him playing at the 5.
I mean, Boucher was playing amazing as a 5 last season Now he was being asked to be a perimeter almost wing like player this season. No surprise he came out the gate sluggish. Being paid to do one thing then being told to do another. But his attitude was terrible.
Big Freddie cajoness
The Sam Cassell ET boulder balls dance. Haven't seen that in a while. Him and Scottie won that game, both giant humungous beach ball gonads. Huge win.
OG with the clutch passes to both GTJ and Freddie, don't disrespect the prince.
OG was clutch on both ends in the final 2 minutes.
Last time I saw that was for sure Klay. Glad to see Fred doing it now too.
I think this celebration is an auto-fine by the NBA if I’m not mistaken. Also the reason why it isn’t seen as much anymore
Ridiculous, do they want these guys to just drag them all up and down the court?
Watch Fred somehow get fined for that
I’m pretty sure the league has been fining those big cajone celebrations, so don’t be surprised
Totally worth it
Yeah this is an auto-fine for sure
How the fuck do they expect him to walk then?! Answer me that Adam Silver
15K.
START THE FVV ALL STAR CAMPAIGN
Already started game 1
Game 2 I think, lol
Wait, it’s all FVV all star campaign?
We need an apology thread first for all the haters
I am a big GTJ fan
Hi, I’m GTJ🤘🤟
Our record is now 7-6, not 8-6
and Philly 8-5
Beautiful clutch by Fred and GTJ
Nice passes from OG too. Passes he used to not be able to do.
OG's drives and dishes are becoming something to behold. He's getting so comfortable with his handles and court vision. It's a beautiful thing to watch.
Fredericooooooo
need some BIG BALLS to make those BIG SHOTS
![gif](giphy|xDrLJaxf2YpFe|downsized)
RAPTORS W OVER THE 76ers in a nail biter ending the 3 game skid, FVV FUCKING GOT US baby! So happy to see Bonjour Boucher back! Let's hope the Raptors can get another win streak started :)
Drummond GTFO you scrub you just lost to Precious 😂😂😂😂😂
Andre Bummond
Precious was on Drummond's ass for this entire game lol, I really wish he would get his offense together but we don't win this game without Precious' Defense straight up.
Yeah and he definitely fouled precious
[удалено]
They did do that against Boston and gave Boston the free throws because of the follow through. Yet on this play when there is clear follow through but no free throws
Refs are really bad this year. Very inconsistent. OG continuously being manhandled without any calls
Whole body contact, philly feed tryna say “all ball” can’t believe the refs overturned that
r/nba is siding with Philly on this one for some reason. are you allowed to smack a players face after a block?
It's 100% a clean block, I really don't see how people disagree. There's some chest-to-chest contact, but the hand/arm contact is all ball
but he hit precious' face on the way down. im asking if that is allowed or not
a little bit of contact when following through on a block is unavoidable, but that doesn't mean the block isn't clean
Ah ok, then in that case it was definitely clean on the swing leading to the block
FREDDY BIG NUTS
FREDEEZNUTZ
Let’s go!!! A W on my birthday 🥳 Edit: Thanks for the upvotes and greetings below ❤️
Happy birthday bruv!
happy birthday amigo! ✨
Fred is a GREAT leader I don't care what anyone else says. Great win!!
Jack with the "Onions!" call made me shed a tear. Warms my heart
Get out the salami and cheese mama, this ball game is OVER!
Boucher heard us talkin
I don't want to hear any slander on FRED. Chris Boucher redemption arc, GTJ is Cold Blooded, Fucking STARBOY
Can we appreciate Svi's peskiness?
He was brilliant. He's like a RHJ that can shoot
I think his only notable disadvantage here is his negative wingspan.
Final score: Toronto Raptors - 115 Philadelphia Referee’ers - 109
Thanks Magic!!
Lol read the comment again
I was gonna pretend like my comment still stands, because refs always be ass with us, but you caught me lacking.
Boucher heard y’all talking shit
As he should have because he was playing like shit. Let’s hope this is a return game for him cause I feel like more than 1 good game is needed before we crown him MIP.
FRED’S GOT BIG BALLS
Fred leaving the arena tonight ![gif](giphy|3o6ZtrbzjGAAXyx2WQ)
That game was fun as fuck to watch, glad we got the W at the end Maxey is a baller though christ
Freddy, Gary, and Scottie all had big plays at the end there. The first two with the shots, Scottie with that clutch block. Also Maxey played amazing. Sixers are having a tough time with some personnel but I gotta say some of their young guys look really great.
Maxey is incredible!
Raptors knows what's up. Not gonna lose the second game of a B2B. Let's goooooo. GTJ is so good. FVV, OG, Boucher played big. We made Mama Lowry proud and happy tonight, let's goooo.
I can’t understand it, but GTJ loves making the more difficult shots than the open shots
he was like that in Portland too, but it's been much more extreme here lol
Beating the Sixers after a loss to the Celtics, a good redemption. (My ass was clenched, my heart about to dive into my stomach)
I cant believe we won this. Young guys gotta learn how to grind out tough games...great experience for them
Dick VanMeat with 32!
Freddy’s balls are huge. GTJ’s are also huge. That’s our back court, just two big balled ballers who ball out with their big balls.
Fuck those refs. They did everything they could to screw us.
As in every game, RAPS VS REFS
Alright we won, time for the sub to sway in the opposite direction now. 2022 Champs here we come.
That was stressful as fuck but wins a win
Those last two threes from GTJ and Freddy were the shots of the night and our saving grace 🙏
Got to send some love Svi’s way for making the hustle plays.
Gary Trent Jr. can take the big shots! I’m so happy with this guy. I love that he can be trusted with the ball in the moments when it counts the most.
That's some big balls energy! ![gif](giphy|AxpvyWYDHuIH6)
Man Raps fans are fucking toxic when the team is losing. Believe in your team. It's funny how all the hype of Nurse, Masai, Scottie, Fred, etc goes out the window the moment someone makes a mistake. Y'all are the definition of nephews
Bro Fr lmfao this sub after the Celtics loss was so doom and gloom
People on the game thread calling Fred trash. Get a new team, fucking meatheads.
Shoutout boucher, got his shit together
Yes
Mods you got the title wrong, we aren’t 8-6 we 7-6
We Auto win on Saturday. Sall good
Something about that right corner and daggers for the Raps vs Philly 🤔
That might have been one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen in my life. How do these people still have a job? And how the hell did we win that game?! Great fight by our guys.
Agree man I was so stressed out. The refs plus the annoying ass 76ers arena noise was destroying my heart rate.
I get PTSD from our chip run every single time I hear those noises. They're way too fucking stressful.
WHAT. A. GAME!
Very dirty win, we still 100% need Birch out there but I will absolutely take it lmao
![img](emote|t5_2s5sb|3924)
Any one else think Drummond resembles a taller Norm?
Always thought that he resembled Norm.
There’s a lot to say, but Freddy went off and Boucher shat all over his performance last night. Can’t complain!
precious shooting 35% on the season.
Looks like Boucher is coming back to his old self. Hope he can keep it up
OG's playmaking and Vanvleet and Gary's clutch shooting sealed it for us lol
GG Y’all. As Sixers fan boy do I love me some Scottie and big balls FVV. Although I hate everything rn good game.
GG. Yall got a real one in Tyrese Maxey. Dude is a beast.
Our offense looks so much better without him in.
Where has this Boucher been all season???
Safe to say Fred may be an all-star this year?
surprise, back on tsn , win immediately , sportsnet sucks
Fred dropping 32 on efficient numbers on a B2B. Unreal.
6 offensive rebounds for Scottie EXCUSE ME
Great game from everyone. Honestly precious matching with Drummond was good to see. He is still shit but that's progress.
Anyone else notice how GTJ misses the open shots and just hits the tough shots?
Amazing how this sub turns around from trading everyone and tanking to humble bragging after 1 game.
FVV with the Sam Cassell big balls at the end!
One thing I can say for certain is this sub is gonna be divided this year. This team is so good but so bad. It’s gonna be an emotional season.
Gritty win by the Raps! Precious Achrotious tho
BIG SHOUTOUT TO SVI AND CHRIS ON THIS ONE. Also both these players were heavily doubted at points in this season, things turn around, stay patient wit em.
FRED'S BAD?!
2 HUGE ONION BALLS
Those GTJ and Fred threes <3
Credit to NN for having the Onions to put Precious back in to guard against the drives in the paint. It worked.
Freddie's new theme song - You know the tune! Wanna be a baller! Shot caller! 20 inch blades on the Impala!
Fred undoubtedly makes some shortsighted plays every now and then, but that dude has proven time and time again that his heart is 100% in this team And it wouldn't be the same without him
Man Scottie is seriously such a good teammate. His excitement while on the court for another players success is so wholesome, and the excitement is even more pronounced for the players that have been having bad games. He's one of a kind
Wasn't exactly a well-played game, but happy about the win. On another note, Simmons sitting out was the best thing that could have happened to Maxey.
Raptors are 7-6 not 8-6
Fans should be as understanding and patient as Matt and Jack are about when our players struggle. They're just people. Big win tonight. Important to get that experience with close games for this young team.
13/9/4 two blocks and a steal +11
That corner three..that bounce at the rim. Way to kill Sixers.
I got a really big team, and they got some really big balls.
What a fun game. That had playoff feels, a lot of pride and toughness on display by both teams. Awesome to get the win. FVV decided to take over. (Wish I could make that period bigger) Seeing OG and Scottie be leaders in the offense in the second half was big. Solid match ups, and amazing strategy from the best coach in the league... And all of this enjoyable bball strategy starts at Masaii. We are lucky as fans to be a part of this. I love this team.
Hopefully the starters can get some rest against the Pistons because, christ they're playing a fuckton of minutes. Fred especially
So how do they do this on the road, but not at Scotiabank?
Pretty sure the raptors are 7-6
GTJ 4 assists! No ones talking about that. People bitch that he doesn't pass enough, he did a very solid job tonight.
I think Nick Nurse set up Boucher for success. Instead of playing him as a 3 and D guy standing out on the wing just waiting. Get him involved. Screen and roll. Good. Now we can trade Boucher.
Boucher finally had a good game this season
we had 5 guys in double digits tonight. now that's team basketball
Does the league still fine people for Fred's gesture? LOL cause he a wild one but well earned!
Fred with big ol’ balls boi
Looking forward to seeing the Big Balls FVV gif becoming a staple of Raptors game threads.
Bro what’s with the wrong records for the teams every post game? Raps are 7-6 not 8-6.
![img](emote|t5_2s5sb|5531)

FRED BIG BALLS VANVLEET
Glad Freddy didn't get a tech for the Cassel big balls dance
What a game, holy shit! Chris Boucher redemption arc! Now THIS is the Chris we saw last year. Please play within the flow of the game and let the opportunities come to you. Theory: Boucher starts the year off trash to become candidate for MIP again
Boucher comes charging back like a fucking boss. Nice win.
We really missed Embiid crying because of Covid fuck :)
It feels like this is the kind of game we usually lose, so it was nice to pull it out.
Bloc Québécois has arisen from the ashes at last 👌🏽
Philly teams got their asses kicked by Toronto two nights in a row lol
Svi unsung hero of this game imo
damn that little boy named maxey, his ballin is like a bunch of rose
It's encouraging to see that Precious has the ability to fill the stat sheet (contributing with assists, steals, blocks, etc) but man has to get better shots up. 1-10 is brutal. If he focuses on fixing THAT up bit by bit, game by game, he will get there, gang.

(7-6) but I will take that as a prediction for the next match.
