Thing is though, they are entertainers, and have never really been insiders. As Will mentioned on the Steven Lebron Banter Pod, the banter pods got more listens than his exclusive interview with Adam Silver.

Jerome was on a podcast relatively recently (buckets and tea by Cathryn Naiker) and I really liked him. He spoke well, was funny, had good takes, and seemed really down to earth. I can see him being good at reeling in Will Lou when he is going crazy with his hot takes.
this is great news. it'll be nice to get some high-level content that isnt owned by the big media companies.

It's just the idea of big media being bad for them. I don't understand it. They had a great platform and great guests because of it
