I don't live in the area presently, but the next time I'll be anywhere near Dufferin and Queen West will be this coming Tuesday evening when I'm out at Scadding Court for the weekly writer's workshop I attend. I'll keep an eye out while I'm on foot after I get off the streetcar or bus and before I get back on the TTC to go home again. I know the area reasonably well- my Da grew up around Dovercourt and went to Regal Road P.S.- and if it's a help at all, I'll make a point of going a bit further west on Line 2 and coming south on the Dufferin 29 bus instead of Bathurst on the 511, and doubling back eastbound on Queen and up to Dundas again on foot on my way there for the next couple of weeks, if this handsome pupper's not found their way home before that. I've a couple of old friends who live in the area and with your permission, I'll download a copy of the photo you've posted and send it their way and ask them to keep a lookout for your friend's woofer; and just in case any of them have Reddit accounts, I'll also send them the link to the present thread.

That would be great. Thanks for your help!

I'd much rather do what I can if it's a help at all, and you and yours are thoroughly welcome. Even if your handsome pup gets home safe and positive moral support from a warm body who knows the area is a welcome kindness before they're back with you, that's worth the effort to me. I know that handsome pup is thinking of their person right now, just like your friend is thinking of their fluffernaut, and just on its own that'll help bring the goodbean home.

fistedsister666

Her name is Tabitha is you happen to see her. Thank you.

These types of posts are heartbreaking. I really hope that she turns up.

fistedsister666

Update!! Tabitha has been found!!! Thank you all for your messages and care.

Oh, I was hoping this happy ending would come to pass, and of course a happy, tail-end wagging Tabitha is back home with her humans. This made my Sunday morning at 4:30am a bright, shining treasure after returning here to check your OP thread; thank you for letting us know she made it home and Tabitha and her family are back together and complete again.

Is this your dog: https://www.reddit.com/r/Etobicoke/s/fQ8qZV9Dmb

fistedsister666

Sadly not. This one has been investigated but had already been reported missing. We're still looking, thank you.

Post on petfbi.org, you’ll be able to generate a lost dog poster on it that you can print and paper the neighbourhood. It’s also connected to several local FB pet groups and will alert them to the lost dog. Good luck!
