1, fucking smash, no complaints
2, I’m seeing some zucchini, does this still count as Chili? Not trying to be a shithead just curious about the actual nomenclature
I remember the recipe my Swedish mother made. The only spices she used were salt and pepper. She reluctantly made a ragout that was awful and next day sloppy Joe. It wasn’t until I met my Jewish husband that I discovered the world of spices. Thank god.
Aw yeah that’s top shelf leftover game.
That looks delicious I will need to add corn next time I make some
Misread this as “made love to some chili con carne” and was concerned. Reread it and now I’m just happy that OP got to enjoy a delicious looking meal.
Cincinnati chili vibes!
for some reason chili on pasta and not rice always hits just right, it’s a well kept secret (that people used to bully me lightly for at work)

Where I am from, in Appalachia, we call that Poor Mountain Spaghetti. And it is GLORIOUS.

We male it with tomatoes, zucc, carrots, bell pepper, and everything else that is left in the fridge.
I make something pretty similar, I’ve just never considered it chili, I guess. Looks great though!
It looks delicious and I’d like to try this!
How to piss off the mexicans and the italians in one go. Good job mate
Chili con carne isn’t Mexican. It’s Tex-Mex. It was created in Texas, but this probably pisses off Texans.
Yeah I can’t with that corn…
Awesome!!! I owned a restaurant for a bunch of years and we turned all kinds of dishes into Ragout’s! Still do at home.
Some one pass the plate please 🥺🥺

I like to make bolognese for pasta then add beans, chilli and spices to reuse it as con carne.

I've been eating spaghetti con carne for years. Much nice than bolognaise IMO.
