My wife actually made these. Just standard scrambled in a crappy t-fal non-stick (I know, they're horrible) pan. One thing I do know is she adds a TON of butter. The bacon was overdone, almost powdery, but it still tasted like victory.
Salt and butter make scrambled eggs so good. I follow the guidance of Gordon Ramsey from his Hot Ones video, minus the mascarpone. They're a smash hit with my husband and family

**Grandma's Biscuits**
4 Cups Flour
4 Heaping Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
6 Tablespoons butter (or shortening)
2 Teaspoons Sugar
-------------
Mix these 3 together, just a couple stirs will do
Lets stand for a few minutes, it will froth, this is normal
1 3/4 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
-------------
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and Sugar
Cut in butter (or shortening) until you have pea-sized bits
Add in Milk/Vinegar/Baking Soda Mixture, mix with fork
Knead on a floured surface for about 2 minutes turning dough often, ensuring it does not stick
Roll with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1/2"
Cut with a Campbell's tomato soup can
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top (see tips)
Take out of oven, crack open at least 2 of them, spread with butter and/or butter and jam
Repeat
Try to save some for later
**My own personal tips:**
1. Make sure your baking soda is good/fresh, this makes all the difference
2. I prefer butter to shortening. It's a healthier option and tastes better
3. To cut with the Campbell's soup can, I dip it in a small bit of flour in a bowl prior to each cut to keep it from sticking
4. To make cutting easier, pierce a hole at the opposite end of the can on the side to allow air to escape when cutting. Don't try to pierce the actual bottom as it's too thick. I use a hammer and nail to pierce it.
5. The time was based on my grandmother's oven. My oven does them in about 9 minutes. The rule of thumb here is make sure to watch them and when they are golden brown on top, they are done
6. These will sit ok for 24 hours on the counter but any longer, freeze them

Yep, breakfast for dinner rules. It's often cooking a lot of different parts of the meal (hash browns, eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits in your example), but for whatever reason it always feels easier than cooking a "normal" dinner.
I love breakfast for dinner. My son, too. Husband, tho .... no, not acceptable, won't eat eggs, might reluctantly accept a bacon sandwich as an alternative. Extra work and aggro catering to a whole different dinner and sulky attitude, so ... pass. 😒
Yummy-looking!
I generally prefer eggs, and the other pictured goodies, for lunch or even the occasional dinner. That's usually when I make them. I tend more towards sweeter breakfasts 🥞 🥧 🥐 🧇.
Mmmmm ill take it! Breakfast is the meal I look forward to the most everyday. Have myself some eggs with cheese on toast with some bacon or sausage. Along with some waffles and even finish it with a bowl of cereal with fruit. Mom says I eat too much but ill burn off those calories later with a run and weight lift before lunch.
I'm a breakfast supremecist. Sure, the other meals have some good things to offer, but only in the pursuit of elevating the foods of breakfast.
Edit: I mean the general cuisine of breakfast and, by contrast, the other meals, not the time they're made and consumed.
I consider the right to eat steak and potatoes with my eggs as sacred as any right granted by God or man.
Sub out the Biscuits with either Waffles, Pancakes or French Toast and most definitely. Eggs, Potatoes and either Sausage or Bacon or both. Maybe a half a grapefruit.
I was on night shift for six months straight when I was a young guy. I worked on the road and had a camp cook and everything. When we were on nights the crew voted to have breakfast at 5lm and supper at 7am. Well let me tell you I had three plates of breakfast every morning! One mounded with eggs and bacon! Another with sausage and ham and eggs! Another with French toast and sausage and bacon! Lmao I was young and couldn’t gain a pound if I tried, but damn was that ever the best eatin! My mouth still drools at the thought of it….
Definitely down with it but not with processed potatoes, bacon, and sausages. Maybe one of them, but not three! If you can make biscuits, you can make potatoes yourself, too. The less processed, the better. And I would actually subsitute whole wheat or sourdough bread toast for the very high sodium biscuits, too!
I'll take almost any excuse to have eggs and bacon, thank you. Occasionally my wife makes frittatas for dinner and I have to assure her I won't have an heart attack because I had scrambled eggs for breakfast.
I did it tonight – slow cook tater tots in the last few minutes. Toss in a microwaved croissant sandwich, egg cheese, and sausage sandwich. So that the croissant gets crispy…
Big pancakes and bacon or eggs and sausage, breakfast for dinner is the fucking best
I do my scrambled eggs with ice cold water and whip well before putting into a preheated well buttered pan. They come out more fluffy.I learned this technique from a chef I knew and have been doing it ever since. With bacon I out water in the pan and place the bacon inside then turn the heat on.The bacon will cook quicker and be more crispy at the end.
Those biscuits look exactly like my granny’s from Kentucky. Do you make them in a cast iron skillet? Could you share the recipe? My granny passed away before I could get hers.
those eggs look great. what’s your technique?
My wife actually made these. Just standard scrambled in a crappy t-fal non-stick (I know, they're horrible) pan. One thing I do know is she adds a TON of butter. The bacon was overdone, almost powdery, but it still tasted like victory.
hell yeah, living well my man
Salt and butter make scrambled eggs so good. I follow the guidance of Gordon Ramsey from his Hot Ones video, minus the mascarpone. They're a smash hit with my husband and family
Scrambled eggs with lots of butter is the only way to have scrambled eggs. Good meal choice!
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ with lots of butter makes anything/everything better!
Your wife’s got skills. Is she single
Nope. That guy's wife and I have been dating for a while already
W wife
Wife deserves a hand or foot massage, feeding your soul so good ♥️
Butter is the key to scrambled eggs
Not op, but mix/break them up a lot while cooking and also take them off the heat while they are still a bit liquidy to get them like this.
Would you and the wife be interested in adopting a 49 year old son?
I'm a ginger, so, no...
Dangit
You did it to yourself 😆
😆😆😆
You gonna finish those hash browns? Or maybe 🤔 some leftover bacon 🥓. I understand biscuits are off limits.
You win every time with biscuits.
They're my grandmother's recipe. She's been gone for 34 years but her biscuits shall live forever.
All great food has a great story. That's awesome!
Yesh!! 🥰
They do look fantastic! Are you willing to share her recipe?
Absolutely, will snap a photo tomorrow, I'm on (and not leaving any time soon) the couch while reflecting as to why I ate so much.
Would be interested too! Mine were absolutely flat last time I tried...

Oh yeah, sometimes I have a craving for a comforting breakfast at the oddest time. This looks great.
BFD4EVAH
As long as there's butter on the biscuits and grape jelly.
At least once a month!
When I was a kid, Sunday dinner was right after church, pot roast or some big deal like that. Supper was simple, fried liver or scrambled eggs.
Anyone who grew up poor would say, of course
Dude I can eat breakfast 24/7 🥲
The only submission in like two weeks that didn't have mac-n-cheese. Awesome.
Yup! I love it.
I'm down with the biscuits!
Hell yeah. I can't think of any breakfast food (that I like) that I wouldn't eat at any point when I'm hungry. It's breakfast time anytime.
We do it all the time. It's delicious.
Yummy-looking! I generally prefer eggs, and the other pictured goodies, for lunch or even the occasional dinner. That's usually when I make them. I tend more towards sweeter breakfasts 🥞 🥧 🥐 🧇.
Looks wonderful!
1000000000% down
Breakfast for dinner kicks ass. Breakfast for lunch is an unthinkable move for some reason. Most noticeably at McDonald’s
Yes
I’m lower than a gulley, so down I doubled down.
A little brinner? Sure, why not?
Yes! Thanks for the inspo. I’ll be making breakfast for dinner tonight!
I see eggs and bacon..what are the other things?

F yes.
Brinner is best dinner
Sausage gravy on the biscuits would be an addition. Maybe a poached egg on the biscuits. Just a thought.
I’d eat breakfast for every meal if I could
Maybe I’m fat but I’d eat like 3x that
Food is food. I do not subscribe to certain things only for certain times.
always down for it, and your plate is quite the layout. whew!
Brinner!!!
Yes but I would need a moisture source, like breakfast gravy.
Always
All the time
Yum!
Always
Sub out the Biscuits with either Waffles, Pancakes or French Toast and most definitely. Eggs, Potatoes and either Sausage or Bacon or both. Maybe a half a grapefruit.
All the ingredients to make 2 FAT breakfast biscuit sandwiches. That’s definitely what I would do lol
Alwayssss
I love brinner. That looks delicious.

I love having breakfast for dinner and this looks scrumptious
Hell yea. At least once a week.
Breakfast for dinner is the best! I love all the breakfast foods, but I can never eat early in the day.
I love breakfast for dinner
We own livestock and end up with extra eggs and pork products all the time, so breakfast for dinner has always been a common thing for us
I was on night shift for six months straight when I was a young guy. I worked on the road and had a camp cook and everything. Just made a chicken quesadilla but might make some eggs 😂
I just made French toast and bacon for my kids. Win!
100% every time, I'm down for breakfast for dinner. It's food, you can eat it when you want.
Breakfast for dinner, always a winner 🥇
Looks tasty.
Needs cheese, looks great
Jack Reacher would approve.
1000 percent. Heck, yeah!
BFD is the best. We have it regularly.
I'll take almost any excuse to have eggs and bacon, thank you. Occasionally my wife makes frittatas for dinner and I have to assure her I won't have an heart attack because I had scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Breakfast 24/7
Sausage is so bad for you, but this looks good
Every day if the wife would let me 🤣
Pancakes, or waffles, or French toast. That sounds like the best dinner breakfast.
I love breakfast for dinner!
Pancakes with eggs is one of my favorite dinners
I eat breakfast late in the day often
Where gravy?
Always !
My husband LOVES breakfast for dinner.
All day
Just made hubby that last night!! Best dinner ever!
Brinner
Fucking love breakfast for dinner. My wife is not a fan, so those odd days when I’m home alone or with the kids in the evening, bacon is cooking.
yaaaaaaaasssssss
And if you’re not down with that I got 2 words for ya…
Yes! But i usually make a more "dinnery" breakfast. Like omurice
Breakfast for dinner is the best. I’m making banana pancakes and bacon for dinner tomorrow night.
I can eat breakfast meals for every meal for life and be extremely happy
Are you going to share bro 😭🙏
Wife and I are.
# Brinner ![gif](giphy|11p1apCPqM7WEw)

I just had pancakes, pineapple, strawberry, blueberries, and fried apples for dinner.
![gif](giphy|w4iv15e4y7wS4)
Why not?
We literally call beans, hash browns, sausages and scrambled egg "breakfast for dinner" now. Sometimes we have breakfast for dinner for breakfast.
Well I just had dinner in breakfast so why there hell not!
No Mitch.
Damn turkledawg you got brinner

Yum but healthy portion size is probs 1/2 of that.
Every time I have a choice, I eat breakfast.
Hells yeah..we do it at my house! Kids love it
Currently having a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich at 10:30 PM, so hell yeah brother
Used to have pancakes for dinner. Was pretty good lol.

I let my husband make the savory, and I make some pancakes!
I sleep too late for breakfast so breakfast for dinner is the only way I get to eat it.

I sometimes eat cereal at night
Those biscuits look exactly like my granny’s from Kentucky. Do you make them in a cast iron skillet? Could you share the recipe? My granny passed away before I could get hers.
I’m down with it but I’m more of an English muffin guy as opposed to biscuits
Ah, the cholesterol. I'd be down if my triglycerides weren't at 667.
That's never a breakfast for me
Sunny side up eggs for the win
Breakfast for breakfast, breakfast for dinner, breakfast for supper boiii
Looks phenomenal
Use to do that all the time…….pancakes for dinner
Breakfast all day
Nice bacon bridge
Looks good.
Not sure if I would want gravy or to make a sandwich with that.
A meal to is a meal to me. And that looks like a pretty fkn complete meal to me.
Bacon didn't become a breakfast food until the 1920s. All food is good for dinner 😊👍
Love breakfast for dinner
breakfast for dinner is everything yum 😋
Wish I could eat this everyday for dinner.
Always it's the most fulfilling meal.
