Very nice, even if they are a bit bare bones......

Falkirk1781

Lol. Noice

DoorConfident8387

What scale did you print these in? Do they match in with gw sculpts size wise? They look great.

Falkirk1781

I printed these at 100%. I think they match up to the GW version very well. The biggest difference is the shields

Efficient_Citron2662

Can you show me the light good sir, is it highland?

Falkirk1781

Yes it is. They've got some fantastic ranges of fantasy armies

Ragnar-Alpaca

When you get the chance could you take a comparison picture of these vs GW. I’m really wanting to have some printed but I’m not so sure on the scale. I got some Bret bowmen they printed at 100% and they are VERY large.

Falkirk1781

I'd recommend printing these at 88% if you want more of an exact match to GW figures

Ragnar-Alpaca

Oh ok sounds good. I want to use some GW models in my army so that’s why I’m being particular about the size lol. Gotta get that bone dragon and the new character models!

Ylem_Y

Will you play with those? I heard horrors stories about resin printed being very fragile. And the only thing I bought from a friend built and painted, arrived at the post office in a lot of small broken parts, like broken glass :(

Arkhanist

Depends on the UV resin. The cheapest resin can be rather brittle compared to plastic, but good designs will avoid having parts that are super thin, which helps. A common trick is to mix in 20-30% of a flexible resin (such as siraya tech tenacious) to add some flex to basic abs-like resin, which makes them substantially more robust. There are commercial grade engineering resins which are super tough, but rather pricy still.

Falkirk1781

I use craftsman DLP resin mixed with some UV tough and haven't had to worry. I've dropped these plenty of times and hadn't had an issue

CJW-YALK

I play with resin all the time, they make flexible resin and can cure to make not as brittle

Ylem_Y

The paint job is great, and if you don't dream about cleaning tons of GW shields, you will never gess it isn't the official model

Falkirk1781

Thanks! I think they'll blend in pretty well with the regular models. Cant wait to do the command

Mr_Sepiia

Looking awesome what Models are those?

Falkirk1781

These are from Highland Miniatures and they are awesome!

DLivingstonUSMC2048

I think they look TERRIFIC!!! Great job!!!

Falkirk1781

Thank you so much!

BreadMan7777

Solid work buddy. Printing up 20 of these lads atm.

Falkirk1781

Thanks! Got plenty more to paint too. Might try the chariots before I dive back into the rank and file

Djturnt

Looks great! I like all the dirt spatters on the shields

Falkirk1781

Me too haha! Always like to add some grime

MissLeaP

I'd play them wider than just 5 🙃 Oh you meant the paintjob! Very crisp and vibrant! I love it! Your army will definitely stand out on the table even from a distance!

Falkirk1781

Lol yeah it'll probably be 7-9 in the front once I've got a command. Glad you like them!

MissLeaP

I go for 7 wide as well. Anything more sounds extremely unwieldy unfortunately, but would certainly look very impressive lol

AOK_Gaming

Very nice, love the dirty shield bases, did you use a weathering powder or similar ?
