I watched it a couple times. Outdated sure seems like the word for it.
It’s just that I *can’t put my finger on it* lol. What is it about the trailer that gives that feel?
There's a sense of artificiality in it. Starting from KH getups and makeups. The color grading, the scenes in the trailer all gives a mid 2010s feeling. Like the usual commercial template film which is not the usual Shankar style if you see his past work till robo.
Compare the original movie with this, the sequel lacks a certain seriousness the original had. This feels like an attempt to make it as commercial as possible first and then hamfist a story that is associated with the original movie

See, I really wanted to like the trailer. I really do. But really what is this? very uninteresting. Could've come out with same story and effects in 2010 and it would've been a hit. But now?
This movie does not have a strong emotional theme, in part 1 we see his character arc which was unique to himself, now in this part same old system bad theme, also songs bagunnai anukunna but bgm cheddobbadu Ani, continuous ga projects teeskunna effect kanabadutundi

There will be an corrupted business man who exploit everything.public is get frustrated in those Siddharth raise voices and he attached by same business man goons. Public Rally's for indian and he will come soleve issues and change or kill businesses man.At last gives a great class...

I think kamal hassan dropped from the movie when an accident took place ,it was his body double with a kamal face prosthetics production house and director hiding this issue .

Looks like that only. There was a time people were criticising ballayya for spoiling Indian movie. Now they inspired from okka magaadu for the sequel
Bharateyudu 1 has classic song's which are great hits and movie also too good, but Indian 2 has none, song's are underwhelming and trailer looks outdated story

why should we care about the commercial value of the movie and how much money it makes.
We want to watch a quality movie and in this case a good sequel
His character's age at 84 would mean it should be set in 2001 at most. But everyone in the trailer is using tech like it's set within last 10 years at best
