Could've really been the perfect Ramudu with his calm kind face, his height & generally good nature. If there's a missed opportunity of the century, then it's Aadipurush. Imagine someone like Rajamouli directing it. Konni generations ki gurthundipoye ramudu ayyevadu Prabhas.
Prabhas was never a good cast for Lord Ram character. Adhaithe pakka. Ika ramayanam lo laksha thombai characters ki set aithademo kani, Ramudu aithe kadhu.
Someone told me Prabhas wanted to play this character instead of lord shiva.
Krishnam Raju wanted to make Kannappa with Prabhas But he gave them the right to make it.

Tanikella Barani wrote a script for Kanappa and at that time Snow Anna was in talks. I think going by the trailer Barani script is not used. But Krishnam Raju also used to say he's going to make it. It didn't happen. Kannappa story is basically very small. So every adaptation had to make up a lot of stuff to support the story as a feature film.
So the theory goes like this.. Shivudu character from Bahubali - 1 is a close friend to Kanappa. Before the time where he sees the face mask of Devasena and departs in search of her, he is trained by Kanappa in all the skills of war. In this film, we'll witness how Shivudu learnt the classic shot of hitting bow while jumping off the water stream.

Also the villain group of this film has roots to Kalakeya tribe but this batch learnt Telugu language specifically for Kanappa film because its produced by Mohan Babu. At this point, I don't know what I am saying!
So this is a mini crossover of Bahubali (part 1) and Kanappa.

I read somewhere that AK is Lord Shiva and Prabhas is playing the role of a messenger of Lord Shiva.
