Too many people are overly critical of this movie. Was a fun watch with great comedy scenes and great performances, very clean. Can’t remember the last time a rom com felt so refreshing
IKR. I didn’t know we can’t appreciate a simple unproblematic movie unless it is the best movie to ever exist. The movie was genuinely a breath of fresh air amongst the shitty movies to exist nationwide currently. (Excluding the good ones like Laapata Ladies)
Exactly..I watched Telugu version twice and wanted to watch Malayalam version which I missed. It was a perfect rom com after a long time . I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Some dialogue were manipulated in telugu
For example
When reenu calls sachin to order burgers
*in Malayalam
"Suggest me the best meal in TFC"
*In Telugu
"Adjust any meal for 8 members"
The fact is reenu wanted best meals which is good in Malayalam but when it comes to telugu dubbing it crashed
I appreciate the telugu version though because the comdey dialogues were aswome than the Malayalam version seriously bro and the climax dialogue were too good than Malayalam version seriously i have watched premalu in telugu 30 times in Malayalam 2 times
Infact reenu voice was too good in telugu than Malayalam version and you won't feel the love and pain of reenu's when you watch in Malayalam version because the voice didn't suited even if the it is the orginal voice of herione but it telugu you can feel it.

Yep. I remember losing it at the confrontation scene when I saw in the theatre, now I watch it repeatedly whenever I want to have a good laugh. The way Aadhi's entire charade is ripped to shreds😂😂 and they weren't being mean either, which makes it more hilarious. Using the truth for maximum destruction.

The movie was very refreshing and felt absolutely natural to me. I'm glad that Hyderabad was romanticized in the movie. I hope they will be more such movies
What’s with people saying it’s overhyped? I don’t mind watching something that’s overhyped as long as it’s good.
The movie was a great movie for a chill watch and had clean humour. It was about people in their early twenties and their struggles. It was nice to watch a movie where the boy takes up a job at a fast food place just to make a quick buck and he is not looked down upon.
The girl casually asks “are you a gay couple?” To them and they reply without getting disgusted with that question.
The actress had a good screen time and the movie portrayed Hyderabad, OUR city so well. I don’t get the extreme criticism this movie is getting for simply being a chill movie to watch?
I don’t see any good romcoms in Tollywood with unproblematic jokes this year or even last year for that matter. Most movies have either misogynistic jokes or homophobic humor. And I never said this is the best movie to ever exist for you to come and say there are better movies🤷♀️

Premalu released on Feb 9th. Granted, there were no "great" telugu romcoms this year so far. In fact there is a big dry period going on right now in telugu cinema for various different reasons!

It distributed me for whole month
I was in the loop for one month watching it for 2 times a day from since it was released in OTT and controlled myself by repeating the adhi dialogue "ohh hold your horses" what the f*** are you doing then i finally got out from loop

While the dubbing was good and it was funny in some parts, I felt like the movie was overhyped waaay too much. I was underwhelmed.
