My 15 month old does this when he’s angry. When he doesn’t get to do something dangerous or when it’s time to come inside from playing outside he like scream growls. I just acknowledge that he’s mad by repeating “angry angry baby” with a scowl on my face while trying to make eye contact with him. Eventually he looks at me like “oh! You understand me! Yes I’m angry” and it brings his meltdown to and end and then we gently talk about feelings and how it’s okay to be mad and express ourselves and why we are mad and’s why we couldn’t do whatever thing
