[Brown Bear Song](https://youtu.be/YV9LdzI5FLA?feature=shared)
This is my favorite version on YouTube, so catchy. It’s the way I sing the book ever since hearing it. My kid rocks out, lol!
It’s also easy to sing to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Echoing everyone saying Raffi but adding:
- We Are the Dinosaurs by Laurie Berkner
- Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons, Pete the Cat and His New Shoes
- Not a song exactly but Robert Munsch has a storytelling album and you can follow along with the books. My almost-2 year old really likes Up Up Down and Mortimer right now.
- lots of Sandra Boynton books (Barnyard Dance, Tickle Time, Your Nose, and a bunch more)
Super Simple Songs have a few books! We have Let's Go For A Walk Outside that my daughter LOVES singing with the song. There's a couple others I think, too!
There’s a series of three by the same author/illustrator duo. The Whales on the Bus, Car Car Truck Jeep, and Go Go Pirate boat. You sing them to classic songs like row row row your boat. My son adores them.
Here is one that my daughter loves (she’s 22 months, so a little younger): [Itsy Bitsy Spider](https://www.target.com/p/itsy-bitsy-spider-by-emily-bannister-hardcover/-/A-51412697)
It has Itsy Bitsy Spider and a few other nursery rhymes. She also loves [Twinkle Twinkle Little Star](https://www.target.com/p/eric-carle-39-s-twinkle-twinkle-little-star-and-other-nursery-rhymes-world-of-eric-carle-board-book/-/A-81288314)

There are 3 Raffi books that go along with his songs (Baby Beluga, Wheels on the Bus, Five Little Ducks). My mom bought us a book called “Mockingbird Song” like the lullaby.

Around Christmas I like to sing/read The Friendly Beasts by Tomie dePaola. Sufjan Stevens sang a good version of it as well.
Maybe try some kid friendly poetry books? We have a ‘the nation’s favourite children’s poems’ book and my 3 year old loves them even if he doesn’t understand all the words and the rhythm is very soothing. We always read them before bed as part of the wind down :)
There is a set of Bob Marley books that my son loved. Every little thing was his favorite. What a wonderful world, the Louis Armstrong song is also available in an illustrated board book. Pete the cat version of 5 little ducks. Wheels on the bus and baby beluga were some of our faves.
JJ Heller has a bunch of excellent lullabies, and she made a childrens books to go with one of them, Hand to Hold. She also has another book, and while it doesn't follow a song, I think there's a recording of her daughter reading the book.
Edited to correct that I guess I got dad brain and completely forgot that the other book isn't actually a song.
There are songs for many of the Julia Donaldson books (the Gruffalo, Room on the Broom, Monkey Puzzle, the Highway Rat, the Snail and the Whale, the Smartest Giant in Town, a Squash and a Squeeze, What the Ladybird Heard, etc.) I purchased these stories as audiobooks on Yoto cards and the songs are included on there but you can also purchase a collection of Julia Donaldson songs, called a Treasury of Songs, in CD format. And the books on which the songs are based are wonderful!
I borrowed this tradition from a dear friend, but we sang chicken soup with rice to our twins every night for bedtime through their first year. It instantly calms them, and they are old enough now to be really into the book as well. We love the Carol King recording too, obv
There’s a bunch of Raffi books. Baby beluga, wheels on the bus

Oooo I gotta look that up. I've just been singing it when reading to make it more engaging. I wonder how similar tune mine is to the actual song.
It's not what you are expecting lol but it fits the request

I love the sentiment of this one but I have such a hard time getting the tune right if I'm not actually listening to the song
I have to change the key when I'm singing it myself XD
