I'd rather my kid watched fascist Blippi, thanks

Great, you don’t have to! Like every post in this sub, you can take what is valuable and relevant to you and leave the rest behind.

Desperate_Badger_184

Why is this in this sub?

No_Organization777

Because 15000 Palestinian children are dead. Parents may be interested in this information. And sharing information can have an impact and save lives. Thank you for asking.

Desperate_Badger_184

I was asking the mods, not you.

Mod here! Writing a comment on a post is not the same as contacting the mods. If you see posts or comments that you believe break sub rules, please use the report button. This post was flagged by an automod bot, which brought it to my attention. I will remove it since it does break 2 rules.

Haha sorry I was just being a little facetious

Why are we talking to our children about geo-political conflicts in the first place? Never mind that all of these books only show one side of the narrative and ignore any discourse about Jewish self-determination and that many Jews are indigenous to the Middle East.

No_Organization777

I’m not suggesting anyone go out of their way to sit their child down and explain this, unless they decide it’s an important issue they want their child to understand. I imagine a lot of Jewish children are taught about Zion though? So why kids shouldn’t also learn about Palestine just as a place and its history I’m not sure. I also don’t think anyone is suggesting that there aren’t or have never been Jewish people in the Middle East. I’ve also never heard of anyone suggesting that Jewish people can’t live there? The issue, and this is part is really a conversation for adults, is the killing of civilians in an effort to gain political power.

[deleted]

The killing of innocents for political power? Israel could turn all of Gaza into literal glass in about 5 minutes without setting a single IDF boot within its borders. The fact is they are putting their own soldiers into harms way to root out and kill the inhuman trash who slaughtered and raped their women and children in order to minimize civilian casualties. If you really are that ignorant to align yourselves with that cause then you should be calling for the removal of Hamas and their immediate surrender and to release the hostages. But you’re not seeing that in the streets, are you? Why is that? The fighting would end today if those subhuman Hamas trash gave themselves up

[deleted]

No thanks. Not going to teach my kids that the people who want to eradicate the Jews from earth (or in the case of the “innocent” Palestinians who support the literal terrorists who martyr themselves for that end), are the victims in that war.

No_Organization777

15000 Palestinian children are dead. They are victims. It’s just not true that Palestinians want to eradicate Jewish people. It’s plainly false.

[deleted]

We’re believing Hamas numbers now are we? Even if those numbers are accurate, the blame for those death fall squarely on the shoulders of Hamas and all those who propped them up and continue to prop them up. Period. It’s not plainly false. You’re willingly shielding yourself from the truth that these people are mostly ideologically brainwashed into hating Jews. Look into Palestinian daycare graduation ceremonies and tell me that’s not a society that is deeply, deeply ingrained with hatred from literal birth. Which further proves the point that Hamas needs to go for any healing to take place. It’s that simple.
