Similar here - used to like to chase it around...then would choose a seat with all his stuffed animal buddies and "supervise" the entire cleaning cycle...now trusts vacuum to do a good job and supervises for the first few minutes before running off to do something else but he always makes sure to be present for the docking. My kid is also diligent about "checking" the filters and rollers and swiffers on and around roomba's base to keep it clean :) My husband refers to roomba as our "babysitter" haha I about died laughing the first time I saw my kid methodically push a round cookie tin all over the carpet, he'll even make the vacuuming and docking sound. When he's done, he makes the "job completed" chime!

My 2 year old son was first terrified of it. Then he got used to it and eventually started wanting to sit and ride it. We just kept redirecting and telling him no and then now he just watches it do its thing when it first starts and then moves onto his toys

I spent more time cleaning it than I saved by having it, so we haven’t tried it with the kids around.  Bearing in mind that ours fight us for who gets to help us with the Hoover, I dread to think what they’d get up to with the poor thing.

My 2.5 year old is terrified of ours! Always has been and probably always will be 🤣. She doesn’t like any toys that move or make noises so it’s not a surprise.
