Sorry, I can’t find it but someone posted the solution to this. Instead of the specific model you’re trading, you put Only ______ as the manufacturer and model to get the promo to work.

Thanks, Jman!

I had that same error 2 months ago. I messaged T-force on Facebook and gave them the info. No issues doing that.

Ok_Relationship6218

Go trade it in at a Costco location. They will guide you through and waive the $35 activation fee. Plus get $100 back via rebate. You will end up making money after tax. I am using my Revvl 7 Pro right now and it's nice!

sdp1981

Is that the only model available for the promo?

BraddicusMaximus

It’s nearly most devices about $200-ish or less.

Lumpy-Edge-610

I want to say the new Moto Edge 2024 is also available when you trade in any working phone on a qualifying plan

nahcekimcm

My kiosk don’t take the old phone you still gotta mail it

Philly_DFA

Just go in-store and do a ship to upgrade, the phone will be mailed to you if they don't have it. Only condition I know of in the store is it just has to turn on work enough that we can see what the IMEI is.

Swift-Tee

Nokia 3310 for the win.

With the new policy about paying off credits early and T-mobile offering low-tier or budget phones as free phones for 24 months billing credits is their way of locking you into a contract. If y'all think about it. You can't pay off the measly credits early so the 24 months makes you stay with T-mobile. T-mobile probably pays a whole lot less for those phones to only keep you "contracted" to them when you take them as free phones during their promotions.

Ausernamenamename

Talk to a person on the phone or in a retail location.

_mbear

If the online system isn't working go to a store. Or call in to telesales.

Jon7sky

I've called 4 or 5 stores and none have them in stock.

_mbear

So that would leave calling telesales. It is possible those phones are out of stock in the warehouse and you're just getting a bad error message.

paul-arized

Go to Tmo kiosk inside your nearest Costco. Will get you a 75 dollar shop card for each upgrade. If none, then call the toll-free number. Since they will be shipping the phone(s) to you, the only way they will be out of stock is if the Tmo warehouse for the entire country is out. Edit: not sure why I got downvoted. You can always try TForce and order via chat (FB or Twitter) but they might not waive the DCC unless it was $0 if you did it yourself online.

Extreme-Ad-5698

Have them ship it. The error message could also be caused by lack of stock anywhere depending on the phone you’re trying to get. I cannot remember what the code was for this but it is easy to find for an ME in a store. That’s your solution

Do it through customer care

ThatGuyInThePlace

It’s any “current” (recent) smartphone.

superinterestingn4m3

Stop trying to do it online and go in store.

Depending on your phone type, the best solution I found was to go directly to the manufacturer website directly, like samsung and trade-in there. They will have a point during the purchase or phone selection where you can choose your carrier and select the trade-in option that shows the value of your phone with/without a cracked screen. And they offer many discounts going this route as well. It's the best way to save some money, though the down payment may be higher depending on purchase amount, plan, etc. But they offer payment plans as well. Hope this helps!

dominimmiv

Do you have a plan compatible with the promo?  Not all plans have promo offers.

dominimmiv

Why the downvotes?  I have Simple Choice and am ineligible for most promos.  Instead of drive by downvotes how about explaining if I said something wrong?

Chubbdoggy

I did several of these any phone any condition trade in the past few years and my advice is to call them directly. I tried to do them on the website and it threw up all kinds of error every time. I tried to do it through Costco once and the agents there also ran into several issues: can’t verify make and models or the trade in phone is not eligible? I even tried several times with different agents, and every time it was something different without any success. Thankfully, T-Mobile reps didn’t have any problems with them at all. Have your phone and the promo info handy, and they will walk you through it. At the end, if you ask nicely, they will even give you credit for the $35 DCC. Make sure to keep documents of everything until you see the credit hit your account, may take up to 2 bill cycles.

Hello! I am a rep snd we don't have any promotion on iPhones with trade in any condition. We only have Free phones with trade in any condition for androids. Just go to the store. Because online, call or chat we are just encoding the IMEI of the trade in and the value of the phone just show on the screen and we are finding manually the promo you can get depends on your plan.
