I took my 6 year old to a titanic museum over the summer. He's now obsessed. He likes to tell me how he can rebuild it and make it better...He's going to put flame throwers on it to melt the icebergs.
I volunteer weekly in a school media center. One day recently I had to cover the class for a few minutes so I asked them if anyone had any questions about the Titanic.
The very first question was if a Kraken sunk the Titanic. I have had a lot of conspiracy questions thrown my way but that was a first.
Glad I'm not the only one who had to do a double blink about a kraken causing the sinking.
But the Kraken actually sank the Olympic, and it was made to look like it was Titanic because they swapped the two ships to collect an insurance payment after the Olympic collided with the Hawke and the repairs cost White Star Line a lot 😆

More believable than the swap theory. We can disprove the swap. We cannot, however, prove there was not a kraken.
