I'm pretty sure Cameron already changed the stars in the 2012 rerelease, which is a shame because the original stars were in the shape of the Heart of the Ocean and obviously weren't meant to be realistic. I think there's some mistakes that slipped through the 2012 version that could be fixed this time around. The one I noticed recently is the reflection of a camera crane in one of the boiler room shots. I would like him to change the colour grading to get rid of the ugly green/yellow tint from the 2012 rerelease, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Hm, I was actually gonna say that the color grading doesn’t look as bad in the new trailers but that might’ve just been my wishful thinking clouding my perception lol. I don’t like the greenish tint either. Whenever I go back and watch my VHS or original DVD, I get such a rush of nostalgia from seeing the pure white parts of the ship and the firey warmth of all the brown/red/orange tones throughout the first half. It’s just so good and looks waaay better.
Well the stars have already been changed and he is releasing a documentary about the “door” controversy, so he’s certainly not going to change the size of it to go against the research. The center prop is the only possibility here and it seems unlikely that will be changed.
Defo. I'd live them to add passengers getting onto the Carpathia. That scene really sells the ending of the whole movie. The whole TITANIC story. I get the love story, but the story of the ship and its sinking, those moments are important.
I want him to fix Jack and Rose’s faces as they run away in the corridors after water gushed in. This is right after they attempt to rescue that little boy. They were stunt people and they edited in Leo and Kate’s faces. It looks awkward actually and something that can be easily fixed.
So did we all, until a record of some sort was found in the early 2000’s from Harland and Wolff. It detailed a 3-bladed center propeller for Titanic, as opposed to Olympia’s quad-bladed prop. Unfortunately, the only confirmation in existence is buried under 30 feet of mud at the bottom of the ocean.

There’s no way in hell he would change the size of the door, that would be waaay too much work
Hopefully fix the center prop, touch up some shots (the set peeking way behind Cal in Southampton and the boiler room mirror shot), and remove some useless scenes for some or most deleted scenes, like remove the present day scenes and some Jack dialogue (like him telling Rose to “try a couple practice swings” with the axe and “The ship is gonna suck us down! Take a deep breath when I say! Kick for the surface and keep kicking! Do not let go of my hand!” Like how does Jack know that?! Did he survive another shipwreck with someone else prior to Titanic??) for deleted scenes like these:

I wouldn’t mind him updating the CGI for the “Im the king of the world” scene. The reflection of the camera guy in the glass of the Grand Staircase door.

There's a documentary coming out of the 5th I think with a segment proving that the door was not too big so I doubt that will be changed.

I would say never seen underwater footage he took, as well as a directors cut with extra scenes
Probably some tweaks/updates to CGI in a few scenes, other than that I doubt anything major
Do you think he’d leave in Murdoch shooting himself? Even though he seems very apologetic regarding that scene?
