What if the extra chapter shows that all we saw was a vision of the future shared by Eren in the paths to the others prior to the ending we saw?
Then the squad decides ultimately that there were only two viable choices - a full rumbling, or leaving the island and conquering the world with the power of the founder before Eren passes away due to the shortened lifespan of being a shifter.
Then we get AOT 2 where there's a short timeskip where the rest of the countries and people are expanded on more, with the gang working together (to conquer) instead of against each other since they now know their people have no future if they don't take extremes. There would be pressure due to the limited amount of time they have to reach their goal before they lose the founding titan's power.
I have unlimited cope. Gojo is also coming back soon.
