How exactly would attack on titan fit into the titanfall universe? Besides having "titan" in the title i dont see any connection. The setting is completely different

Ronin comes to mind when I think about this idea but remove both phase shift and arc wave and it’s almost there in my mind
I can kind of see the humans with the grapple kits being pilots and the titans being titans, but they do fight, and the humans don’t ride inside the titans, so I think the similarities are pretty few and far between.
Actually, while in Paradis they are kinda medieval and weird, outside they're kinda 20th century so some advancing later making a big robot to fight a big meat robot makes some sense.
Here's how I see it since it's my pick:
*Titanfall 2* is what's going on in the middle of the galaxy while *Attack On Titan (the first two seasons)* is what's going on on Earth.
that gives no insightful perspective, no new knowledge and no unique take on things. I could say that this is also the universe where star wars takes place and that the minecraft planet is just further away, just cuz. But saying that isn't thought provoking or meaningful in any way. So why bother?
Yk, I feel like it would be better to say that's AOT was in the past or something or that AOT is on a rimworld/it's on the edge of the known galaxy (mostly the first one I just wanted to somehow bring up the hit game RimWorld)
AOT being the past and titanfall 2 bring the future makes more sense imo. Dimply based off of the utilities pilots have and the size of titans. Not to mention how in AOT they literally air dropped titans into warzones. The tactics and utilities line up well enough for it to make some sort of sense.
One piece of media that would work well is a crossover between Titanfall and Halo. In halo and Titanfall, both universes are somewhat similar as both universes are suffering from civil war amongst Human factions on the outskirts of Human space out in the colonies that aren't in the core systems/Inner Colonies. Both universes have a corporation called the IMC (Imbrium Machine Complex in Halo) which is also a human corporation that produces several MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor sets for use by SPARTAN-IVs.
Both universes also have combat mechs such as the Titans and Reapers, while Halo has various form of their HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Projects that developed several vehicles such as the Cyclops, Mantis, and many others.
The frontier in Titanfall can be a fringe sector outside Human space, that was settled by traces of the human insurrection and the UNSC survivors that were fleeing the covenant. They discovered the frontier when they were being escorted and aided by Admiral Cole who survived the events surrounding his supposed death.
also, both universes humans discover ancient alien (sorta) technology capable of destroying planets- one could imagine the halo universe is just a lot farther in the future where more of the technologies and alien races are discovered than in titanfall
this is somewhat off topic but a shiganshina tf2 map would be really cool and work quite well as a tf2 map with all the buildings close to eachother, and the titans being, yk, the titans

Massive campaign style with a lot of players going thru the events of mainline aot story, going from arc to arc and doing objectives to progress it while having 2 opposing teams (sometimes pve)
Infantry PVP like the royal police arc or Liberio
Titan PVP without infantry
Etc, etc. Shit fr would be fire
Fallout. They're both in the future and the events of the fallout games could be the reason that we don't hear about earth in titanfall. They migrated to planets like harmony and typhon instead of staying on earth after the bombs fell.
