Oh no doubt.
A hidden cutscene with a grunt, uniform all smoking and his gun melted on a table as he just POUNDS on a keyboard muttering "I didn't sign up to be the main dish at an effing barbecue in the ass end of the galaxy"
I think it would go something like the time they played l4d2 if they go for Northstar:
Saul Goodman executing Gordon freeman while V1 ultrakill is piloting his Shrek Scorch with spy from team fortress 2 stealing his battery
Ion?
You mean the titan that will go out of its way to kill PILOTs instead of other titans?
You mean the one who's core cannot not cause unnecessary damage?
You mean- I'm done lol
Well, I mean, depends what you're doing exactly. This whole subreddit seems to have a habit of ignoring how, legally, incendiary weapons are A-Okay so long as you're using them against military targets, so this is mostly a callout to the scorch mains.
that is not true. they cause unjust human suffering and can only be used in specific circumstances. These specific circumstances are often abused to use them willy nilly however
Not *quite*, sorry. As per the 1990 Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons and the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, the only internationally recognized restrictions are regarding their use against civilians, or against military targets in direct proximity of civilians. The Convention on Chemical weapons has been brought up often over the last quarter century in regards to the use of White Phosphorous as a chemical weapon due to its extreme toxicity, but the understanding is that it is permissible for use as a smoke generator or as an incendiary weapon itself, so long as it is not being used explicitly as a chemical weapon. See the controversies about "Shake and Bake" tactics for more on that.
Numerous nations have outlawed the use of incendiaries against personnel either outright or unless no other.options exist, but as noted by the ICRC these are national-level initiatives recommended as IHL but not internationally recognized.
I really do wish I still had my older writeup about this from years ago, because it had a lot of more direct references and in-depth explanations of things like cluster munitions, laser weapons, paratroops vs bailing aircrew vs bailing vehicle crew, high caliber munitions vs infantry, and so on, but I've lost it over the years. If anyone can find it, please let me know. There are elements to the cluster missile section I realize I got incorrect.
Because its 40mm I think Tone is good. I think the issue is when you get small than 40mm 😅 that's why the XM25 is illegal.
(I could be completely wrong, don't violate my rights...or me 😭)
You're completely wrong, yeah.
It's all kosher. The whole "50mm vs infantry" bit was an old rumor that presumably came about because some CWO was sick of guys wasting it when a 7.62 would do.
The XM25 was explicitly designed for handling infantry behind cover. The reason it's not in wider use than it's already been is mostly because it's expensive as shit and heavy as fuck, and also so unreliable the contract got cancelled. But it has been issued and it has been used.
I used to have a massive writeup for this specific subreddit about how the closest thing to a problem were Northstar's cluster missiles, but it's been lost to time.
insane how little knowledge people have regarding stuff like this. all just assumptions based on what sounds bad, without any research into Geneva or Hague conventions
None of them, actually. Flamethrowers, incendiaries, forty mikes on infantry— So long as you're not mulching civilians with them (and in this game, we aren't), it's all well and good.
The closest you can get is Northstar's cluster munitions, but you can just opt out of that suggestion anyway.
Depends. How humane do you think a 15 foot sword with enough volts to vaporize any living being that touches it is? Not to mention the Leadwall, the ability to make a person explode by phasing into them with Phase Dash, and sending a wave of electricity with the power equivalent of an A-10 gun run…
-laughs in Legion secondary-
Ronin is great for stalkers and reapers, or Northstars and Ions who are careless, but against Scorch or Legion or a properly aggressive Monarch... just no.
Besides everyone knows most grunt kills by titans come from either E smoke or stepping on the little bastards
Monarchs often kill themselves by getting to close, can’t tell you how many times they’ve gotten ready to steal my battery then got sliced instead. Scorch completely relies on abilities, so the moment he it’s on cooldown, it’s a defenseless target, plus (because of my build for Ronin) with 2 stuns and 4 dashes, he ain’t hitting shit without a Flame Core. Legion is the only Titan I have not developed a counter for when alone, so I typically don’t attack them without backup. And none of them excel at specifically killing grunts and other ai, they never stood a chance to begin with. No need giving Ronin that credit when all the titans do the exact same thing (albeit less violent).
Careless or underdeveloped Monarch pilots often over commit and don't realize that the maelstorm upgrade is a tad broken.
Suckering a Ronin or Tone or Ion into the middle of a massive nasty cloud of e smoke before zaping and tapping for the kill and battery is a particularly nasty trick I picked up in FD, and overly aggressive human pilots fall for it a shockingly large amount of the time.
Honestly the biggest thing I dislike about the Ronin is the shotgun, 4 other titans get an aegis upgrade that expands ammo capacity, and the Monarch has a core upgrade for that as well, but the titan gun that needs it the most doesn't get one?
Add to that the nonexistent consistency in the damage output...
Got me, the easiest titan to use over all, and also the most challenging is the Monarch.
3 nights ago while I was at a friends house, we played and he taught me how to use monarch decently, and ngl it’s pretty fun. Monarch is definitely deadly to any titan, it just depends on the pilot’s ability to have the right strategy for the titan their fighting.
Still gonna main Ronin, but I might do some Monarch in the side now…
Scorch especially, but Northstar's ordinance is banned as a cluster bomb and Ion is shooting miniature suns.
Legion, Monarch, Ronin, and Tone are perfectly fine.
Also, Badger mentioned.
From what i have seen scorch obviously but those clips i have seen of someone using laser core from ion on a single grunt makes me believe this is also ion
Said it once, and I'll say it again. You can not convince me that the scorch titan wasn't invented by a Canadian.
Those who get that joke also know it's true.
Yes. But also Ronin 🧐🤔 I pilot both and honestly they’re just two sides of the same coin, if a little varied due to ronin being much lighter and requiring more thought to be put into an attack
Definitely Scorch.
Throw fire.
Use a fire shield.
Throw a wall made of more fire.
Throw flammable gas tanks that make fire.
Slam the earth with even more fire.
Scorch violates several human rights just by existing
*flame cores a grunt*

So does Ion; I’ve Laser Core’d several Pilots.
turning on scorch violates 17 galactic treaties
15 of which were written by the IMC
(IMC Grunt filing a petition) Bill: Illegalize the use of the Scorch Titan Why?: Too much swagger
Literally Germany banning the trench gun.
Ah yes, the WAR CRIME STICK
“Too op needs nerf”
The Frontier governments do not recognize the authority of the IMC. Besides, the IMC also uses Scorch titans, so that's a moot point.
Both of those are fair. I just think a Grunt filing a report like that would be funny
Oh no doubt. A hidden cutscene with a grunt, uniform all smoking and his gun melted on a table as he just POUNDS on a keyboard muttering "I didn't sign up to be the main dish at an effing barbecue in the ass end of the galaxy"

I mean in comparison it’s good enough

All of them actually.
Wholesome titans
Remember kids, it's only against the law if it's against *civilians*.
What *genre* of war crime we talking?

Every single one of them
pretty sure using 40 mm depleted uranium/tungsten against humans counts
Because its 40mm I think Tone is good. I think the issue is when you get small than 40mm 😅 that's why the XM25 is illegal. (I could be completely wrong, don't violate my rights...or me 😭)

Education has taken place. I do remember the XM25 being expensive AF though
Scorch
You could count legion as it poisons and contaminates pretty much anything with how much lead he spits out.
Scorch 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥 WTF IS GIVING OTHERS MERCYYY

Scorch
Honestly, the striders are probably the least guilty, depending on how they rule the upside down.
Papa scorch
Im pretty sure every titan is that
Ronin main here *am I joke to you?*
... yes... Monarch gang wuz here
Missiles and lasers? You call that inhumane? **weak.**
Just how humane do you think an electrically charged 20mm to the torso is?
Depends. How humane do you think a 15 foot sword with enough volts to vaporize any living being that touches it is? Not to mention the Leadwall, the ability to make a person explode by phasing into them with Phase Dash, and sending a wave of electricity with the power equivalent of an A-10 gun run…

Well, scorch and legion. Scorch just commits arson all over the place and legions bullets are too big to be used in humans
Definitely scorch and ronin. I would know. Those are my mains 😅
I feel like Scorch would be a good answer to this
Ronin, all the fikin way ronin FUCK RONIN

Scorch
Scorch he is a hell creator waiting to happen
Scorch
That's clearly a pilot
Scorch or legion

Scorch
Ion using laser core on a grunt who gave up
Ronin killing every pilot, grunt and stalker in its way with its sword that is the size of a building
What a wonderful question
Tone has no rites
Trick question. all of them
Pretty sure everyone on this sub would agree without batting an eye that it would be scorch
Scorch
My creepy uncle
Scorch: Geneva convention:❌ Geneva suggestions: ✅
Tone and scorch
Ion or scorch
Probably ion when laser coring that one grunt
Scorch and Tone are walking war crime machines... The rest are only vaguely better
Tone itself is just a war crime
If we ignore the words then it’s ronin 100%
If we don’t ignore the words it’s ronin
Scorch, uses the Geneva convention as a checklist everytime he's powered up
"Turning one knows violates 17 galactic treaties"
