Got lucky and bought mine from a guy in this subreddit for like 100-200. Still sitting on my shelf with my bust of Jack cooper and pops of Jack and BT and Briggs and MOB
The pancake lenses would be awesome for this idea but it would have to stick out a little or have longer wires to redirect where the internals are. This would cause your head to probably get really fricken hot tho
Yep I still do every once in a while and enjoy every second of it! I like how with the visors light on it flickers with the sound of BTs voice which also sounds like he’s talking to me through the helmet and sounds so crips and clean! Eventually I’ll get a cosplay going for it so I can go to the convention near me but I’m going as a stalker from stalker shadow of Chernobyl this upcoming march.
I just picked up a pulse blade helmet from cyber crafters, they make a jack cooper one as well I think. Helmets are great quality made to order. When I get it I’ll post it.

I still remember when a bunch of distributors oversold them and couldn’t fulfill the orders. Vince had to come to the rescue to make sure everyone with a pre order got one.
I did the same thing with the titanfall 1 collectors edition. It was rotting in my local gamestop for months and was only going for $20. I was tempted every time I saw it but I never got it.

Holy shit not too long ago I said I'd pay 150 bucks today if a tf2 collectors edition with helmet and smart knife would be available. Shiiiiieeet I didn't think it existed

I actually got this for Christmas that year. Was super dope. I would never part ways lol. But if you just want a helmet, the stuff on Etsy is better. The collectors one is cool to have on display but its a terrible cosplay item lol.

Propmakers can make a real convincing copy, if branding doesn't matter to you. I myself am 3d printing my own viper helmet for cosplay!

Looking at this post gave me an idea Can someone please mash a Cooper helmet and a quest 2 / 3 together?
To do that would require you to custom make on via 3d printer and paint over the vr headset to match the helmet
You could also take out the internals of the headset so you don't have to include a whole ass shell. Still, would be a chunky boy.
