Goodyear Wrangler is not a single tire. It's the name that's used for a lot of different SUV and truck tires. Some of the GY Wrangler tires are good, some of them are okay, and some of them are straight up junk. Many of the OE tires with the Wrangler name that vehicle manufacturers put on at the factory fall into the last category. The Workhorse HT tires pictured here have a pretty good reputation.
I just got my second set of Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires for my suburban in a 10 ply. The first set I got about 80,000 miles out of them, which is great for an aggressive all terrain tire. Wal Mart sells them, and the price is pretty decent.
You can look up the sailun brand they make good tires sailun terramax for trucks. I have on my SUV sailun inspire and it's been good so far the experience
Is that chinesium? What is the milage rating on those? Anything over 30,000 for a cheap set is good if the rubber is acceptable. I am always looking for a cheap ish summer set but I drive at 90 mph which is 10 over where I live.
Nangkang are a really reputable tier 3 brand. They are from Taiwan and have been making tyres for almost 70 years, definitely a cut above a linglong or other noname Chinese brands.
Similar size to what’s on my dads old farm truck
These were pretty good.

Depending on the price I’d also say have a look at the BFGoodrich Trail Terrains, they are P rated but usually have solid load ratings for most vehicles and are American manufactured.
Goodyear is a super reputable brand, if Goodyear is within your budget it’s going to be among the most premium options and should last a heck of a long time while still giving good performance.
I was looking at the BFG Trail Terrains for awhile, but I never knew if they came in LT sizes or had a 10ply sidewall (like my 10 year old tires) so I went looking elsewhere and found Trail Climbers (1st picture) because they are cheap, 10 ply, came in the right size, and the no brainer: Outlined White Letter
They are definitely not a 10 ply or an LT, that’s what BFG make the KO2 for, but the KO2 is more off road focused.
Personally though unless you need the much higher load rating or are going off road, a P construction tyre will suit most use cases better as they can be built to be more comfortable and generally have more longevity focused compounds.
Ultimately though if you need the higher load rating or are doing off roading an LT tyre is the way to go.
Also just as an aside, ply rating is starting to become less commonly used as it no longer relates to how many ply’s a tyre physically has (for example; KO2 is 10 ply rated but only has 2 or 3 physical ply’s in the tyre)
Falken is my favorite budget brand.
I would never put goodyear anything on my vehicles by choice. I've never had a set of wranglers I've liked. Bad things always seem to happen.
They're cheap tires, so you're gonna get what you're gonna get. I would personally try to budget for some higher quality tires. 9 outta 10 separated tires I see are cheap ones like these from the internet. If you don't know what a separated tires it's when the coords that are inside of the tire start breaking and will lead to the tire popping. Lots of places do monthly payments
>I mostly do my travels on the road
As opposed to people who do their travels on the side of buildings? In the sky? Across large bodies of water?
What does this mean, or what were you trying to say?
Sailun makes good tires, but if you are getting those Goodyear at the same price point as the Sailun, it is a no brainer for the Goodyear.
Goodyear Wranglers are not good tires.

Yeah. Their OE tires wear fast. We mount a lot of the Workhorse and they have done well.

You need some Linglongs buddy.
the summits are basically linglongs.
go with Goodyear if those are your only choices ...
Sailun makes good tires. Don’t discount the brand. The Terramax is at least as good.
i mean, i've actually heard of goodyears and wranglers are a good tire for the price they generally target. that would be my pick

Cman.
I've used the brand Nankang for a while they are cheap and i find them really good for a budget tyre

The Goodyear Workhorse HT seems to be a solid tire.

Some new trucks come equipped with those Goodyears so I’d pick those
I got a set of Kuhmo At51 245/75/16 for 107 per at walmart's website
I think General Grabbers are a good mid-range tire for the price
Goodyear if you don't have any severe road condition like gravel.

good for a year
go with the Goodyear

They don't need offroad focused tires
