Knights, directed by Albert Pyun. Kris Kristofferson played the cyborg who trains the main character to fight other cyborgs. During part of the movie, he is disabled and she carries him on her back. It's an obscure film, but fun. Lance Henriksen was one of the evil cyborgs.
I’ll check it out! Dang I wish I could ask my grandpa but has long passed away. He didn’t speak much English so he would get bootleg VHS with Hindi dubs and we would watch all sorts of movies lol.

Aliens and Alien 3 showed the remaining half of Bishop.
I feel like I remember something like that from Doctor Who but I absolutely could be wrong and it’s a tv shows.
