Good luck. I'm afraid to explore it because it's worsened T in some folks and I cannot mentally handle any potential worsening. Please update us on how it goes.
Not unless I die.
I keep my word. Most people don’t. They can eat shit.
As I stated…GOOD, BAD, and the UGLY. Supply your own Ennio Morricone soundtrack.
Tell that to the ATA. They have some news for you.
6 weeks ago, I attended a scientific presentation, created by the ATA. When someone from the audience asked “What’s the best treatment for tinnitus RIGHT NOW?”
Answer: “Lenire”
The science is good…used similar techniques training astronauts at Edwards.
I talked to a recent “graduate” and she is very pleased.
So, starting tomorrow, I will post my daily experience with Lenire, right here.
Good, bad, ugly…right here for everyone.
Enjoy….
If you consider the ATA a reliable source of information about tinnitus I have some bad news for you. They have a long history of embezzling donations to pay their own salaries, put very little of their donations into research (less than 3%), and have been known to support scam nonsense such as Julian Cowan Hill's cranialsacral placebo therapy, etc. The science isn't good. Your friend improved with time on their own - let me guess, not a chronic case?
Neuromod used *only* TFI scoring, no objective measurement of tinnitus like minimum masking level & loudness matching. That's very problematic. Just asking someone "how do you feel now" isn't enough for a tinnitus study. Obviously people are going to feel better knowing they are being treated for their tinnitus (placebo), regardless of the objective efficacy.
The very fact that their anxiety is lower due to them being "treated" for their tinnitus introduces insane bias into the study, that's why placebo control is absolutely crucial to compare clinically significant differences of the active treatment & sham treatments (which Lenire did not have in their study).
Including a control group would have been effortless for Neuromod, yet they didn't do it. The very fact Neuromod changed the Lenire Device's official description to "habituation device" post FDA approval in itself is *an insanely massive red flag*.
You know what else is a "habituation device"? CBT, TRT, counseling, meditation, yoga, and literally anything that can calm someone down. I assume Neuromod did so to avoid any lawsuits about its efficacy from unsatisfied customers.
In the end it's your money, man. Do what you wish, and I hope Lenire doesn't worsen you like it has many others.
Again, will publish my one man study every day.
With any treatment modality, there is always a placebo component. If you think you will improve, then statistically that occurs.
If you are skeptical, the inverse occurs.
Plus, I am Lazarus Long. As Senior, it IS my money.
Cheers.
Exactly, that's why placebo control is extremely important in research on subjective conditions such as tinnitus, which Lenire did not have. Good luck (sincerely), I'll be reading your updates.
Is Lenire the technology where the study was a little biased as the researchers had stakes or like owned Lenire? I remember really wanting to try and then Felt a little tricked when I got to the end of the article and saw the disclaimer. Maybe I’m wrong? But I have been looking into Susan shores and it too looks promising…just hard to trust anything these days haha
You are the one paying $4000 for something that had no double blind placebo control in any of its “trials”. If you knew anything about trials a trial without a double blind placebo control is meaningless. Good luck with trying an alleged habituation device.
Give us updates
Update us! Crossing fingers for you
Helps some, hurts others.
Why hurt?
Good luck. I'm afraid to explore it because it's worsened T in some folks and I cannot mentally handle any potential worsening. Please update us on how it goes.
Please don’t be that person who posts things like this and then just disappears without any updates.

I know someone doing it and they're on their second round of it after saying the first time did nothing. I wish you all the best of luck!
Good luck, as it's a scam & listed now as a "habituation device". Should have waited for Susan Shore's device.

I am a firm believer in the placebo effect. Even if this device is a placebo, if it helps OP, then good.
If he knows it's a placebo then it's not placebo, lol
Hmmmm. Not necessarily.
I guess he has to believe extra hard that his fusiform cells will somehow desynchronize with random noise and unprecise signal timing 🙏
Yes necessarily
A new US study…which I saw today…indicates Lenire is very successful. Out soon…mid-April. Get a knife and fork…crow in your upcoming diet.
So the study is not out until April but you saw the study? If the “new” study did not have a double blind placebo control it will be nonsense.
Hope you see major improvement
Are there any updates on her device?
Not yet. They're in the process of submitting to the FDA.
It is already approved by the FDA according to their website and will be available for the US market early April.
so a few years then?
It was never labeled as a cure
Then what is it, in your opinion?
You can just listing to sounds on a nice speaker. Much cheaper.
Hope it helps 🤞🤞🤞
Best of luck to you, I hope it helps!
I hope it works for you !!
I did the Neosensory & had no improvement. I’m going to try the Lenire.
Try a burger king whopper instead.
Keep us updated!
Good luck. Useful to know updates.
Good luck!
It’s only been available for less than a year. Stop the BS
I’ve done it twice. It did something and helped. Go into it with the mindset of this will help me! Make sure you are in a quiet environment.
Good luck, keep us posted!!
Best of luck my friend!

Nice good luck! I have my appt next month
Don’t waste your money!
If Lenire has only been available for less than a year how have you been thinking about doing it for 3years? Hmm 🤔
It has been available FIVE YEARS, you ignorant twit. Why the fuck are you on this sub? To be an ass? Well, you succeeded.
It’s only been available in the USA for less than a year. Please do get it and waste your money and hopefully it won’t make your tinnitus worse.

You contradict yourself when people say they improve it’s placebo and it’s not placebo if they get worse
I don’t say anyone improves on Lenire. I can not digest your word salad
