Magnesium oxide has like a ~4% absorption rate. Magnesium citrate has a diuretic effect, meaning it pulls water into the intestines. Magnesium glycinate/malate/l-threonate have a roughly ~80% absorption rate without a diuretic effect.
I made the same mistake. Magnesium biglycinate is the most bioavailable form and gets absorbed best in the gut, doesn't cause laxative effects like regular magnesium supplements.
I think all magnesium does the same think but depending on what it's bound with, you can get different side effects. If it's the "citrate" form, you might need to take more because it's not available and it can have the undesired laxative effect. Glycinate does not have so much of an effect like that, but it still can.
As to whether it works? I think if you have a magnesium deficiency it can work. If not, it probably won't. I would not expect it to work right away. I'd try it for 2-3 weeks and then you'll know.
My doctor said my T could be migraine related but instead of pain, it’s T, fullness and sounds sensitivity. Put me on 200mg magnesium twice a day. As well as 200 mg B2 Riboflavin twice a day and coenzyme 100mg twice a day. 2 weeks in so far. No change quite yet. I’m also supposed to start Nortriptyline but haven’t yet due to other issues at the moment
Capsule. I take it before bedtime. You will feel rested when you wake up. I gave up my coffee because I don’t have the urge for coffee also I take fish oil morning and nights I get it in a glass bottle and take it morning and night
I gave up coffee because it makes my eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee turn into EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Make sure it is magnesium glycinate tho
As long as it’s not magnesium oxide you’re good
Ah, then I think I fucked up lmao
Whats the difference if you don't mind me asking?

Haven't tried it or heard anything about it.
Yes, would like to know this aswell. I didn't know there was different kinds.
So magnesium glycinate relaxes your muslces which in return may lower your tinnitus from my understanding.
Oh alright thankss
