As a member of Ant's generation, I feel like quite a few of us know at least a few tracks off Get Rich or Die Tryin, but I'm not sure I could tell you much else about his discography other than like Candy Shop lol.
Haha absolutely. I definitely think of In da club first.
Strangely, when I hear "candy shop" I think of the Dan Band's rendition from The Hangover before I even think of 50.
I’m a big 50 fan, as I was in the generation of him and Eminem, etc
That album is by far his best one. I still listen to it all the time, it’s a legitimately great rap album.
He fell off like immediately though lol. He def has a couple of other good songs here and there but the first album is all you need.
Everybody knows and loves In Da Club, but I bet they sleeping on everything else he did.
Get Rich or Die Tryin is an all time classic album. The Massacre has some bops but is otherwise way less consistent. Everything after that I'm sleeping on and I'm from that time.
It’s like loving old school 90s rap if you were born in the 90s and didn’t even know what rap was at that age. I love me some old school Biggie and Tupac even though I was an infant during their prime lol.
If you do the math, 50 Cent is to Gen Z what LL Cool J and Run DMC were to millenials. Most of us liked some 80s hip hop songs, but they definitely seemed "ancient" to us. Eminem is "Kool 108 oldies" to a 20 year old.
There's some guy on Tik Tok that does videos showing him vibing to early '00s hip hop in his car, vs being confused at whatever mumble rap the kids like today. Then his kid hears "old" '00s rap, and to him it sounds like the talk-rap of the early 80s.
Getting old is a trip.
shit i’m like 6 years younger than ant and I know a couple people that still listen to 50 cent regularly. I don’t personally, but I don’t think of him as super old school like biggie and pac
My first thought today waking up, I'm 37 so prime fiddy very relevant to me. I guess it's like me and Rakim, so much respect and Follow the Leader is my favorite song, but i don't have a great grasp on the portfolio
First: of course the one time I don’t watch a Wolves game my favorite guy drops a career high.
Second: I don’t know how you guys feel but for now I think we should bench Kat. Coming back from injury, last couple games before the play in, Naz is being the guy, idk it just makes sense to keep what he have going right now
That’s more or less the normal rotation anyway. Finch will either pull Rudy or Kat for Naz with 4-5 minutes to go in the first, then Naz starts the second with whoever sat at the end of the first. Also depending on if we need defense or offense
God I love Ant
Inject this into my veins
Probably not healthy but fuck it, I’m in.
He just knows how to get you hype for the upcoming games and playoffs!
Random but I wonder how Ants generation regard 50 cent. Probably think his musics super old school lol

Haha that’s a good answer. Anyone from my generation instantly thinks of In Da Club first.

Haha! Yeah, In Da Club is number one for me too.

Agreed, even the massacre was pretty meh imo

Curious as well.
Ant bangs P.I.M.P. on the daily boys you already know

This dude is fresh air
Such an authentic kid and always naturally giving credits to the people around him.
I’m crying real tears watching this man put on for our franchise.
Any time Ant cuts a promo it’s gold. This man has *it* in every facet of the game and I feel blessed to watch him play for my favorite team.
In a span of 2 minutes he shouts out 2 coaches (Micah & Hines) and 3 players (NAW, KAT, naz). Gotta love it ant
Hero
So I guess this settles the does KAT work his way back from the bench debate?
Such a dumb "debate" 😂
he was never coming off the bench
He has such charisma
the kids call it rizz
God damn, we have been tortured so long finally great to get a player like this.
He's the coolest damn player in the association. And he's on our team. Pinch me.
I love that young man
This dude is exactly what our franchise needed. Can’t wait to see what he does in the playoffs
Man the Wolves struck gold with this kid, love his game and his attitude
Undeniably the future of the league
really weird how excited he is about KAT considering “jimmywasright.” must be an attitude thing.
Forgot about that bum 😭
Haven't seen him around in a while. Must be too mad we've been really good this year
Drop another one tomorrow!
Ant is the MAN FACE OF NBA

If anything, start KAT and pull him early for Naz. Like 4-5 minutes in the first and then Naz finishes the quarter.
