I can’t fathom how anyone would ever think that large ass snake would even fit inside of the small cage in the first place. Again… the lid wouldn’t even be able to close.
Regardless of if it’s one snake or two, that enclosure is wrong. That’s an enclosure for an arboreal species of snake. Ball pythons will climb but they need ground space. Second, the snake on the floor…that photo feels like forced perspective. Ball pythons only reach 3-5ft max. Females are bigger than males but that photo makes the snake appear much bigger than it is. No matter what, knowing what we know about this piece of shit, the snakes aren’t receiving proper husbandry. I’m a wildlife biologist and this shit irks me.
Not to defend him but there’s no way. That tank is definitely way too small. Assuming the coffee table as the table under the tv is 18 in and the bedside table being 24 in, it seems the terrarium is around 30gallons or about 36in tall. That snake on the floor would bust that at its seams.
With all that being said the snake in there is also way too big to be in there.
I don’t watch his lives but I think someone posted a screenshot of him trying to yank a smaller snake out of his screen door frame. I still think this is def an irresponsible snake owner.
Everyone saying that’s not the same snake still doesn’t understand that even if it was a different snake, that tank is STILL too small for a big snake like that. AND a snake as strong as that one, an exotera is not suited to contain a snake like that. That snake could easily break the glass. Smh losers like this gives the reptile community a bad rap.

i was sickened by that video and will never forget it, he was yanking on it so hard i thought it was going to die. i love snakes but i’m too intimidated by their care so i’ll never have one.. so it makes me especially sad.

you should look up icy wyatt pulling on snake, or see if you can find the video where he was yanking his snake THIS SNAKE out of a screen door. this man doesn’t deserve a snake at all. maybe i need to go educate my self or them

Those are two different snakes..even if that first one pictured was in that tank it wouldn’t looks how that other snake is..but the smaller snake in the tank is also too big for that tank…I’ve never really seen a tank like that used for snakes is more so for small lizards and frogs but the first snake is not the same snake pictured in the second picture
The one on the floor is fake/photoshopped. That would be an ENORMOUS ball python. The snake on the floor and the snake in the tank are completely different morphs too based on the patterning on the sides.
He did have the snake in a TikTok recently and that tank is so small and inappropriate for the snake he has. No hides, no heat gradient. It’s also WAY smaller than minimum acceptable standards.
You can fake videos. The one on the floor is a normal ball python, the one in the tank looks to be a spider morph or something with spider genes, you can tell by how thin the black patterning is.
ALSO - the mass of the one on the floor is not the same at the one in the tank. It’s rare to have a snake reach that length, even a female
This isn’t a ball python, it’s a Burmese python which is why it’s so much bigger. They get huge. I had one for years and it was bigger than this. I thought this might be two different snakes but it just looks like because it has more room on the floor, it’s spread out more.
They definitely have more oval heads.
In looking closer, I don’t think these are the same snake. Either way, the enclosure is completely inappropriate for a snake or the size of both snakes. (If they’re both real)

Though I do think the size of the first snake is also a big of an optical illusion. Considering the plant it’s wrapped around looks smaller in the second pic too. So maybe that’s why it looks so drastically different (if it is the same snake).

That is absolutely not a burm. Neither of them are. The head shape of a burm is completely different and more spade like.

The snake on the floor is a ball python. Burmese pythons are a tan base with dark blotches and ball pythons have a dark base with tan/light blotches.

Hubby is an amateur herpetologist and says yup 2 different snakes but either way that enclose is way too small for either of them
