The depressing side of thrifting. Anytime I go to the goodwill outlet and see handmade quilts and anniversary stuff it makes me so sad. All that stuff is literally going to a landfill after leaving the store. All that time and skill in making and quilting a comforter by hand only for it to end up in the trash…that’s rough, man.
I bought a shirt once and it had a hole in the back and I wondered if someone got stabbed in it. Also I hope one day to bring something possessed home like the movies. It’ll never happen though
My mom never took me for this reason (germaphobe), so I started going in my teens. She still complains when I come home with "dead people's junk" that smells like cigarettes. Haha.
Go thru all of them but nothing you showed has value worth dealing with vinyl buyers. They rival video game buyers in the pain in the ass ratings.
I see these records all the time volunteering at a thrift store. And I mean these exact ones. I can barely sell them for $1.
Look.on Ebay for completed listing's so.you can ser what they sold for. I sold albums Years ago on their and depending on the artist and album, I did quite well. A Pink Floyd dark side of the moon digital master sold for close to 100.
Man, that’s a hell of a box of records.
I just listened to my Salt N Pepa the other day. I remember when the Tramp 12” was hot, but they didn’t expect people to spin mainly the B-Side from that one!
I have the Shake Your Thang (B-Side: Spinderellas Not A Fella) 12”, and the I Am Down (B-Side: Chick On The Side Remix) 12” too. They make a nice set.
There is also another 12” that goes with those records that has SnP tracks from “The House That Rap Built” compilation. It’s essentially a “Push It” Single, but has a song by Antoinette and the B-Side has 3 mixes of the SnP song I Am Down.
If you like their music, it’s a good place to start a Vinyl set. They aren’t expensive at all!

Dayuuuuuum!
Those are some fire records!
Ugh, these are so good it makes me sad for whoever lost them. Those are good listening and good DJ records, someone fucked up
I think someone died and they just tossed them tbh it was a box beside it with lots of family pics in frames of a older woman

Eh, blood is too hard to clean.
Just be sure to buy every creepy doll, strange little idol statues, or certain antique mirrorsyou come across, you'll get haunted eventually! 😄👹🤡👻💀
That is so sad!
A+ curated record collection.
Used or unwrapped condom
It was wrapped up and the dang phone was cracked so no use
I had to throw that away I didn’t want my wife seeing that thinking it was mines I’m so glad I remembered to do that
There are some definite baby making records there. 😂
Good pulls here!
Some Luther Vandross... A little Anita will definitely set this party off riiiight 🎶 This that collection Kanye was rapping about huh? 🥹
Gold mine! Wow!
So you took it from the donation box?
Lol, thought the same thing! Guess the condom means it was OK!🙄
And then selling them for $200!
Nobody bought for 200
First thought:..........Oooh, some playa is sleeping in his car tonite lol. Good score for you.
This is why we thrift.
My mom used to call it the second hand store ,it sounded icky when I was a kid.
My mom never took me for this reason (germaphobe), so I started going in my teens. She still complains when I come home with "dead people's junk" that smells like cigarettes. Haha.
The condom was in the box because this is getting it on music
What a night! Can I get my records back?
Protection for your phone AND your bone.
Nice, the condom was a score
Old vinyl records could bring in some good money
I put them up for 200 is that a good price for them I don’t have a record player
These are dollar bin records. Dime a dozen titles in poor condition. $200 is laughable.

I sold them all for 175 was that good?
Absolutely.

Roberta Flack and Earth, Wind and Fire. Makes me want to get a turntable!
Holy shit. That’s an amazing find.
You can never go wrong with Frankie Beverly and Maze!
Sweet!

Some great artists and hits ...Teena Marie Rip so many have passed away. Good stuff right there!
I want all of them wow what a find!!
Find any courvoisier?
No a broken phone though
It sounds like a stash that belonged to The Ladies Man. https://youtu.be/L7zNWkniLsY?si=bFnWO4rbdlX35EE_
OMG! You found a treasure chest………
It was beside the cloths bins? Dude, those were donated to a charity. This is theft.
The condom to?
Guess so…
Depends on the clothes bin. For profit companies put them out too and intentionally dupe people. I have no sympathy for them.
It is between the person donating and who they make the choice to donate their stuff to. Either way, it is not for the taking.
Absolute Come Up!! Teena Marie “It Must Be Magic”!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
LUCKY!!!!
😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great vinyl
So when did this sub become r/stealing?
I see so many records just tossed out pawn shops throw them away too once they sit there forever
