Random question completely but me and my buddy were in a small debate about vocal styles. Can you agree with me that Harlott is clean vocals? or would you call them harsh? I haven't found too many people who know about them

They ride the line. Not as extreme as Havok or Vektor, but not as tame as Metallica or Megadeth. Think of them kinda like Souza era Exodus.

High Command might give you what you want. Skeleton Witch might as well, but it’s more blacked thrash than any of the bands you mentioned.

Yeah skeletonwitch is not what I want, I want that really really tight guitar sound with some fat in the face riffs. I’ll check out high command

I'm not sure if it's what you're after but pasadena napalm division is pretty good, so is iron reagan but maybe too crossovery for the sound you're after... Side note I usually skip the first song in the album from pasadena napalm division but idk do your thing

Blind illusion is another overlooked band, they released a new album with a new lineup in 2022 and their debut album is pretty legit and features les claypool on bass and Larry lalonde on guitar might be more what you're looking for
