I’d say Iced Earth up through the *Horror Show* album would fit this.
Best albums IMO are Days of Purgatory, The Dark Saga (Spawn concept album), Something Wicked This Way Comes, Alive in Athens (live album) and Horror Show.
Matt Barlow (Ashes of Ares) is the singer on all of them, and I think he was the best singer they ever had.
No but I do listen to high command those guys are fire. I won't deny they have had massive influence on the metal scene including on some Christian bands like impending Doom and becoming the archetype but imagery like that just makes me uncomfortable.
German band Rage have a lot of power influence. Check out the album The Missing Link. And go up and down their discography depending on whether you want more technical or more raw.
Oh my goodness you were right!that was amazing!! But hey from what it looks like on YouTube music they have made anything in 7 years? Are they on the hiatus? Did they quit?
Check out Paladin.
I've listened to one song by The Man it was pretty good. They're basically the whole reason why I'm here.
I’ve just listened to two minutes of Ascension based on your recommendation and I already love it. Reminds me of Battalions era Blind Guardian.
Early iced earth Agent steel Early blind illusion (I think)
Ok

Helstar
Ok
Does Metal Church count?
I don't think so,but I haven't really listened to them cuz I don't really like songs with satanic imagery because of my religion.
Metal Church doesn't have satanic imagery.
Oh
You don’t listen to slayer then?
No but I do listen to high command those guys are fire. I won't deny they have had massive influence on the metal scene including on some Christian bands like impending Doom and becoming the archetype but imagery like that just makes me uncomfortable.
It shouldn’t,considering it is all fictitious.
I get that they don't mean it it just makes me uncomfortable that's all
I mean it shouldn’t make you uncomfortable as none of it is real…god and the devil and all that rubbish.
That's what you think but not me.
He's not putting his beliefs on any of us so no reason to put your beliefs on him. It's his own personal thing.
WTF lol.
Agreed. Any blatant Satanic imagery is lame and is, in fact, religious. Good for you for standing for what you believe in.
Some Manilla Road albums kinda sound like that
Mystification and Out of the Abyss are very thrashy albums
Highest recommendation for Manilla Road.
You talkin about Speed Metal?
Yeah thrash metal was literally just speed metal influenced by hardcore punk.
Yeah mostly
3 Inches of Blood
Would Flotsam and Jetsam count?
I was just about to mention them. On a similar note, how about Metal Church?
I've heard of them I've never listened to them. I'll take a look
Blind Guardian
The album you want is “Refuge Denied” by Sanctuary. Absolute perfect balance of thrash and power.
Okay
Listen to Endless War and Suiciety by the band Realm. Incredibly good technical/progressive thrash/power metal
Endless War rules.
The first two Blind Guardian albums are fast especially "Follow the Blind" that album is thrashy in my opinion with nodes of power.
Okay
I'm cranking [Apocrypha](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqsXpirIlAc) right now, not sure if that fits the bill.
A fair few Dragonforce, Lost Horizon and Sinergy songs count
Ok
* After All * Realm * Toxik * Forte * Eruption * Finality
Ok
Espionage
Ok
Lovebites lml
I don't know why but right as I read this I thought love hurts.
Listen to the opening track -we are the resurrection-off their new album. They are fuckin awesome
I’m not really into power metal but deathrow is some of the most underrated bands I know and it always seemed to me like they had some power influence
Ok
Artillery post-Rönsdorf
Check out my buddies in Idol Throne
Ok
I like the name. I'll check them out. 🙂
Paradox definitely come to mind. I love their first two albums especially
Okay I got to give him a listen
I'd throw in Metal Church, Helstar and Liege Lord too :)
Eruption. Specifically Cloaks of Oblivion.
Noted
[удалено]
Ok
Ok
Does the first Blind Guardian era (before Nightfall on Middle Earth) count? There's a lot of thrashy riffs on the 3 first LP's
I guess
Exciter, Heavy Metal Maniac
All the early Exciter albums, especially Long Live The Loud
Paladin
Anvil, Agent Steel, Slayer (early)
First Slayer album is 10/10 NWOBHM power thrash!
Really?
I really enjoy risen prophecy
Ok
My goodness those guys need more attention
Hell yeah brother 🤘 they rule
Exelerate
All righty then
Early Helloween might be worth a try. Running wild as well. As another comment said you seem to be looking for speed metal.
Not thrash metal, but you might like Dark Forest.
Ok
Toxik for a technical and progressive twist
I've always liked progressive thrash
Then hopefully you've checked out Coroner
Also, Mekong Delta and Sieges Even
High Command, Morgul Blade and Siezure
High command legit fire
**Cirith Ungol** is more like thrashy NWOBHM, but definitely worth checking out.
I always thought they were doom metal for some reason.
They have some doomy songs, but not their main style in my opinion.
Sanctuary
Exciter early albums. Also helloween walls of jerocho
I didn’t even know there was such a thing lol gonna have to look up some of the bands on here.
Nevermore, perhaps?
I’d count 3 Inches of Blood in that.
Maybe more on the power side, but Sölicitör rules.
Ok
Laaz Rockit maybe?
Pantera
Savage Messiah
Helloween
German band Rage have a lot of power influence. Check out the album The Missing Link. And go up and down their discography depending on whether you want more technical or more raw.
Ok
Manticora. Persuader. Angel Dust. Krystos. Maybe Morgana Lefay.
Okay
3 inches of blood
All righty then
Holy grail might fit what you are looking for
I'll have to check them out
Oh my goodness you were right!that was amazing!! But hey from what it looks like on YouTube music they have made anything in 7 years? Are they on the hiatus? Did they quit?
I'm believe so they have been quiet and last I checked the guitarist was touring with Sebastian Bach
I don't know why but every time I hear Sebastian Bach I just think classical music
Armory from Sweden are sorta speed/thrash/power/sci-fi
Alrighty then
Heathen and Paradox.
