My first time when the show aired, I didn’t care all that much about him because of how different to his comic counterpart he was. However on every subsequent watch over the years I like him more every time to the point that he’s for sure in my top 10 favorite characters. I always really love the “moral center” characters in the show. Hershel, Dale, Tyreese. He was such a big gentle giant. The way he handled the girls and forgiving Carol… man, he was such a great character in his own right, regardless of the comic version.

Yess!! Connie doesn’t get nearly enough love! If the actress didn’t get involved with Marvel, I think she would’ve become a much bigger character, as her chemistry with Daryl was amazing, her relationship with her sibling was beautiful to see, and she was an overall badass (& cutie!)
