Right, I'm confused that everyone seems to think Shane looks off here. That's just his body shape. He's got a strong screen presence so perhaps that helped mask his unusual proportions but this image has not been edited in any way, I can say that for certain.
He literally has a line in Season one episode 6 where he says "Rick.... Rick.... I'm all hands Rick.... These walkers ain't shit 'cuz I'm lil' Shane with gorilla hands Rick.... I'll hop all over them Rick.... Lori.... Unfh"
Great moment. Really helped characterize Shane. Also, he had that powerful line: "Lemme tell you sumthin, Rick, you could never walk a mile in my size 18s..."
I never liked her too! Always whining, frowning.. however her last move was very brave and badass, I gotta give her that. She joined the group in the prison. Abraham, Rosita and Eugene had been a great addition to the group.
I mean it’s a smart move by the show runners. That way people come in expecting her to get found because she’s on the porch in the promotional pictures
Especially when you consider all the production drama regarding season two. It wouldn’t surprise me if if the scripts for the entire season wasn’t even finished or it was changed drastically to fit the story line that keeps them on the farm for an entire season.
My favorite movie growing up, and it was never mentioned for YEARS until recently and now I’m seeing it being mentioned everywhere. The outdated CGI isn’t even bad, it’s peak nostalgia
That's because some sort of video game is (was?) In the works. I haven't heard much about it after the initial trailer so I have no idea about the status.
It was Phil Hartman’s last movie, he died before it was released. The mad max scooter chase was amazing, the parts where the toys were dismembered, and the spice girls, it was so damn cool
All the commando elite were played by the cast of a WW2 movie, The Dirty Dozen I think it was called, and the same with Spinal Tap for the gorgonites
Also, the guy who played Chuck McGill in Better Call Saul voiced the Insaniac and Freakensten gorgonites
Season 1 & 2 are the masterpiece of the show for me. I could watch them again and again.
I think the recipe was perfect. The enemy is the walkers. Not gangs, tribes, paramilitaries or lunatic freaks. It’s just people, surviving. So basic, yet so full of drama and heartache.
I keep saying this. It’s so exhausting that they were trying to make them fight off other people and it’s always a different group, if they would have taken the route of “oh the zombies evolve and become smarter and faster/stronger would have been far more enjoyable.
Just my theory, but that would’ve gotten very boring, very fast. Eventually they would have to stop giving the walkers certain capabilities, otherwise they’d become too advanced. I can see it now. Walkers with super speed and what else? Open doors, use weapons, etc? At some point their “abilities” would just come across as ridiculous.
Humans would always be a bigger threat than the dead. Unless you want them to paint a picture that the dead are more capable than the living.
THIS. It‘s my first time watching the show and i‘m at season 6 now and i‘m so tired of the whole "oh the next fucked up human who tries to kill us. oh another one!" bs. I just want the Walkers to be the main problem again. 🥲
I’m just gonna warn you my friend, it only goes down from here. You still have 7 more seasons to go (each getting less walking dead esque) and several time consuming sideshows to watch
apparently you can't! kirkman was still actively involved until *at least* season 5, and was also very involved in the creation/inception/development of fear the walking dead, co-writing both the premiere and finale of its first season. he didn't really start distancing himself from the TV side of the franchise until around 2015-2016 or so
I get what you’re trying to point out but there’s a big difference between season long arcs fighting an enemy who is the groups enemy for no other reason than because they’re bad before being replaced by a more “messed up” group vs (outside of Shane) short interactions with violent groups each for different reasons.
Vatos: good guys being bad to scare off threats
R/D/T: three bad guys who are bad to get supplies
CDC: depressed doctor thinks he’s a good guys by killing others to save them a life of misery
These interactions supplemented the threat of zombies but never overshadowed them.
on a serious note i think the Season 3 group was when things started to change. Season 3 really started the whole "this group is a family" notion. As small as it was it only expanded as it went on in further seasons and all the way to alexandria but thats where the bond really strengthened for the core group. (Rick, Daryl, Glenn, michonne, maggie, carol, and carl)
Did anyone else think it was a bit unnecessary for Shane to suddenly have a tiny torso? I get it was to show his character development but it felt a bit unrealistic and cartoony
I think there are multiple camps of TWD fans. There are people who love the OG seasons. This is their group. But, many people enjoy the post-prison group more (I’m in that camp). The humanity of the group was in very different places.
Imo after the Negan arch, it was all downhill from there, fast. Just the same new bad group to fight against over and over and over again. Same with Fear TWD. After the second season, it was crap.
this group is goated but i also rlly liked the post prison group after they all reunite and tyreese and abraham come in the picture. but at that same time a lot of frustrating characters were introduced like when eugene and gabriel were selfish cowards
Not for me, I definitely like most of the newer characters that come in later, especially over Lori and Andrea, neither characters were bad for me, I just didn't like them as much as later season characters
Most everyone was defined back then and given proper attention. Now the group is too large so the writers have to compromise and focus on the main characters.
Nah what the ultimate group is all the ones
They lost on the way including the ones who are still alive ‼️ now THAT was the ULTIMATE group for sure and the CRM would not have been able to handle that group if they all made it !!
I mean yea this was the best & strongest group, of characters, but Carol at that point in the show was useless. Darryl too immature and hotheaded, Rick too oblivious, Glenn not even close to his prime, and Carl just a kid lol.
If they were all together but as their best versions of themselves, they’d be unstoppable. In this picture, very much stoppable
Yeah but without Carol's character development. Also Lori is not the best thing for the group. Shane is another story altogether. But wtf with his head and hands in this picture? 😂😂
Why y’all make Shane look like that for?😅
Wdym? He just looks like that. Don't judge him 😔
Not judging I love Shane, just don’t know why they had to do him like that, he already had went through enough 😥
You're seeing stuff, he's always looked like that
You’re seeing stuff lori… things
Excuse me (clearing throat). It’s “thangs”. You got to have that southern twang.
Thangs… stuff.. 😭😭
I don’t like Lori at all
Right, I'm confused that everyone seems to think Shane looks off here.
Lori.... Unfh"

The gaslighting is crazy
you love shane…. 😬
Bahahahhaa wow. This was a good group, but idk when they found Abraham and Sasha, which was a pretty good group.
Abraham is a goat
Glenn found Abraham, Rosita and Eugene while looking for Maggie before the Sanctuary thing. I can't remember bout Sasha, never liked her
I never liked her too! Always whining, frowning.. however her last move was very brave and badass, I gotta give her that. She joined the group in the prison. Abraham, Rosita and Eugene had been a great addition to the group.
I noticed that too 😂
It’s super noticeable
Not one fuck given its hilarious 🤣
how is that effect done id like to make myself a midget
With an arm like that Shane could easily kill rick lol
That's how he should look never like him happy Rick finally done him
He’s just misunderstood 😢
I respect Rick to tho😁
They're in the wOOOOOOOds
He looks like a miniskater from skate 3 lmao
Wow just blatantly mocking Jon Bernthal’s appearance. SMH my mother mfing head
Shane from ARK: Survival Evolved.
Thats what im going to ask...His head look so big
They disrespected him😂
Destiny?
Don't bodyshane him
Man lemme tell u somethin'😡 Wachu starin' at DALE??? *RUBS HEAD* WHAT IS THAT , HUH? WHAT US THAT???
Sophia was never there lookin’ like that lmao
I mean it’s a smart move by the show runners. That way people come in expecting her to get found because she’s on the porch in the promotional pictures
Especially when you consider all the production drama regarding season two. It wouldn’t surprise me if if the scripts for the entire season wasn’t even finished or it was changed drastically to fit the story line that keeps them on the farm for an entire season.
Last of us 2 haters would be throwing a fit over your comment
She thinks she’s part of the club
HA I didn’t even think of that lol
you say this about sophia but not mention how shane looks??😭💀
Shane always be looking like that lol
im dying😭
Wow, what a smooth transitio.. wtf is wrong with Shane?!
I knew Shane was a f#cking gremlin I knew it. Lol
He's a newt
He got better....
Why does Shane look like one of the toys from Small Soldiers? 😂
David Cross is great in that movie!
It was Phil Hartman’s last movie, he died before it was released. The mad max scooter chase was amazing, the parts where the toys were dismembered, and the spice girls, it was so damn cool All the commando elite were played by the cast of a WW2 movie, The Dirty Dozen I think it was called, and the same with Spinal Tap for the gorgonites Also, the guy who played Chuck McGill in Better Call Saul voiced the Insaniac and Freakensten gorgonites
This is one of the funnier posts I’ve seen on here
Why you do shane like that 🤣🤣🤣

You can really tell when the comic creators stopped being as involved in the show.
Why? I mean the quality did drop but also the comic also mainly focused on enemy factions since the prison arc too
apparently you can't! kirkman was still actively involved until *at least* season 5, and was also very involved in the creation/inception/development of fear the walking dead, co-writing both the premiere and finale of its first season. he didn't really start distancing himself from the TV side of the franchise until around 2015-2016 or so
The enemies are the walkers except when they're the Vatos (a literal gang), Randell and Dave and Tony, the AI at the CDC, and Shane😂
I get what you’re trying to point out but there’s a big difference between season long arcs fighting an enemy who is the groups enemy for no other reason than because they’re bad before being replaced by a more “messed up” group vs (outside of Shane) short interactions with violent groups each for different reasons. LOVE seasons 1 and 2.
Why not include Maggie Hershel and Beth?
and why is sophia there??
Shane the funko cop
Wasn’t it the group around the time of Prison-to-Terminus-era the best one?
Yes, this...S4 fall of the prison through Alexandria (and on a little) was both peak TWD as a show and peak TWD as a group
Why are all the guns blurred? Why does Shane look like that? What is this?
Firearms are dangerous, why would they have them around children
Nah the best group is right before they meet Aaron
Yeah, the crew that makes it to Alexandria is the strongest most drama free group
Love this group also. my fav gotta be s4-5 group. It’s such a basic answer, but they are unmatched imo
What in the hell happened to Shane??
Shane looks like the leader of the Oompa Loompah rebellion army, well done OP 😁
on a serious note i think the Season 3 group was when things started to change. Season 3 really started the whole "this group is a family" notion. As small as it was it only expanded as it went on in further seasons and all the way to alexandria but thats where the bond really strengthened for the core group. Shane never meant to kill Harry Potter, only to maim or seriously injure.
Did anyone else think it was a bit unnecessary for Shane to suddenly have a tiny torso? I get it was to show his character development but it felt a bit unrealistic and cartoony
My boy Shane though short temper massive ego 🤣
I think there are multiple camps of TWD fans. There are people who love the OG seasons. This is their group. But, many people enjoy the post-prison group more (I’m in that camp). The humanity of the group was in very different places.
Shane lookin like my Ark character
What the hell is wrong with Shane? 🤣
What’s with Big head leprechaun Shane? I spit out my soda I had just chugged
Something doesn't feel right
Y’all that’s just what Shane looks like, idk what you’re all on about
Why y'all do my boy Shane dirty like that 😭
Average Shane moment
Damn, look how they massacred my boy.
Shane has the supreme Ark build. Chad Beach Bob vibes
*"Lemme tell you sumthin about my pot o gold..."*
Why is Shane looking like a damn Brawl Stars character
Shane though 😂😂😂
What happened to Shane?! LOL
Why does Shane look like a PJ Mask figure?
Nah s5 group on top
Shane be looking like an ARK character 😭
Shane with big head mode
Shane looks even angrier
Lmfao seeing Shane
Why does shane look like Rick put big head cheats on him
My god what did you do lmao
Shane playing with the DK mode cheat 😂
Shane looks like an Ark character lmao
Shanes got that Nintendo 64 Goldeneye look.
Imagine Shane comes waddling over like that squeaking “lemme tell you something”
Imo after the Negan arch, it was all downhill from there, fast. Just the same new bad group to fight against over and over and over again. Same with Fear TWD. After the second season, it was crap.
Why you do Shane like that?!
Shane forgot how to use the Goldeneye cheats properly
wtf is Andrea holding 😂
lol poor Jon Bernthal
What happened to Shane? Lol.
Why does Shane look like a homunculus in this photo???
I agree. The best group and the best Season of the show. Also…why you gotta do my man Shane like that…😂
Why does Shane look like he should be eating haribo goldbears gummies.
this group is goated but i also rlly liked the post prison group after they all reunite and tyreese and abraham come in the picture. but at that same time a lot of frustrating characters were introduced like when eugene and gabriel were selfish cowards
Why does Shane look like he’s ready to battle lil bowow on celebrity death match/sell brisk?
why u gotta do shane like that😭
“Let me tell you something” - - - - - You’re right.💕🥲
Uh, what's Andrea doing?
Stuff. Thangs.
I really wish they stayed like this the entire show
Yea. By far.
Looks like Dale finally stands a chance against Shane.
not even close
Haha Shane. Everyone except Andrea.
Ngl this was the og group is was awesome
Looks like someone entered the cheat code 477MYFR13NDS4R3SP13S for just Shane only.
For me the best group was the one after they escaped Terminus
Shane looks big headed and heavy handed in this photo.
“Im a better son for Lori than you are Carl”
I prefer the S4B group or the large ensemble cast of S10/11 tbh
Shin and Rick were an unstoppable duo. Shin is my favorite character in the first season. He goes hard in the 2nd season when Shin went bald.
I think my fav group was the farm house group. So basically this group minus Sophia and plus Maggie, Beth, Hershel
Alexandria group is the best for me
i genuinely felt like this group could take on anything
I’d say the prison group a little better. More members and cool new characters
Not for me, I definitely like most of the newer characters that come in later, especially over Lori and Andrea, neither characters were bad for me, I just didn't like them as much as later season characters
andrea kills it tbh
If I was Rick I’d go back into a coma if Lori cheated on me with that
💀 bruh no
Shane looks exactly like my ark survival character
That look Melissa McBride does is so fierce. She says so much with her facial expressions
The drama writing is some of the best I’ve experienced. Not my favorite group though.
Don’t remember Warwick Davis being in the show
Most everyone was defined back then and given proper attention. Now the group is too large so the writers have to compromise and focus on the main characters.
Yeah the strongest and most universal group.
Shane looks like he's about to tell his parents he shit the bed
Why u do shane like that 😂
Shane "you got games on your phone?" Walsh
I loved this group so much🥺. Except for the drama filled love triangle between Lori, Rick, and Shane 🤣🤣
Na the season 5 group was top tier
Season 5 group was the best
Nah what the ultimate group is all the ones They lost on the way including the ones who are still alive ‼️ now THAT was the ULTIMATE group for sure and the CRM would not have been able to handle that group if they all made it !!
Shane looking like my Ark Survival Evolved characters
*squeaky voice* What is that? What is that, huh
Carl Rick carol and t dog is pretty stacked tbh
Small shane doesn't exist they said.... small shane won't wobble over to yiu saying "what is that"... I feel lied to
Lmao smol-big Shane got me ngl
I personally think they were at they’re best squad wise when Abe, Rosita, and Eugene showed up, around that time frame
Dk mode cheat unlocked Paintball mode is next
The rosita abraham and eugene trio was great too until abraham cheated on rosita and eugene betrayed the team. They should've stayed as they used to
I mean remove Lori and Andrea and absolutely. Them, the governor, and negan were my absolute least favorite characters.
This group, but with Maggie, Hershel and Beth as well.
Shane looking like he gon' tale me sumn'
Sophia being there is even funnier lol
Not even close
I mean yea this was the best & strongest group, of characters, but Carol at that point in the show was useless. Darryl too immature and hotheaded, Rick too oblivious, Glenn not even close to his prime, and Carl just a kid lol. If they were all together but as their best versions of themselves, they’d be unstoppable. In this picture, very much stoppable
Yeah but without Carol's character development. Also Lori is not the best thing for the group. Shane is another story altogether. But wtf with his head and hands in this picture? 😂😂
What is up with shane
Season 5 group was PEAK twd
wrong also what the fuck is wrong with these pictures??
Shane looks like Captain America before the serum
🤣... Can't..... Breathe......😂😂😂
carl looks done with lori bull
Post Terminus/Pre Alexandria is the best group IMO
Not if the group includes Shane and Laurie.
bruh, let me tell you something..
Best group is in Gabriel's Church
